First, every once in a while I have to re log in which the username is impossible for me to remember so have to always do near my little notepad. It's really frustrating and now since yesterday the thing won't even open! Saying there's a bug.. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but no chance... I don't like that app, it's more pain in the butt than helpful, which the school wouldn't use it or another platform.

It's convenient as I don't have to login on the website every single time I need to check if there's something due. BUT (and this is a pretty big but) THERE IS NO CONTENT OR LIBRARY TAB. This could just be me being oblivious but I've checked every button, every possible thing, and I can't find it. The app is convenient, but the things that my teachers upload for us to view have been conveniently left out.

Was working ok but now tells me there's a bug in the App & will no longer open even after an uninstall, reinstall & restart. I'm Android but same error message for my friend in Apple. Having to try & remember the unique username & my password when it randomly requests it is also painful. All my other apps let me save this information but for Connect it seems to save it only long enough for me to forget it. I would prefer to use my own username. Very tedious app when we need it for COVID.

Terrible app. Doesn't keep you logged in and because the school gives you random usernames with a mix of letters and numbers good luck remembering how to log in to it. I refuse to use the app and use the web browser version. Needs a considerable update to allow biometric login or some such thing. As it stands I can't even get into it to tell you how bad it is in there.

Not worth installing! I expected the app to have the same main features as the website so I could log in and check everything quickly and easily. But it only shows the notices - the same ones I already receive via email! I can't check 'My Children' details. Can't receive push notifications or change notification settings - which is a main feature of the app! Tap on 'Settings' and the only option is to 'Play Tour'. Don't waste your time with this app until they upgrade and add more features.

I've been using connect on my desktop all year without problems, but someone wanted the phone version so I installed this app on my phone in order to work it out and show them how later. It's useless, doesn't work at all. My login denied for security reasons and I have no idea why as I can't find any help or FAQ. I tried changing passwords on the PC, logging out, retrying the app and failing again. Re-logging in on the PC which works every time so old and new passwords work. No idea why this piece of junk app doesn't work.

I've had enough of this pointless app. Will not open at all since Dec 2021. Says its unable to due to a bug. Has always been a very buggy app even when it was somewhat operational. As it was constantly logging me out and I'd having to log back at least once a week or more. Another outdated and overly complicated government designed app. It's ashame public schools have to use such a worthless app.

Like everyone else I have the same issue of having to log in constantly. Also though I thought the idea behind the app, seen as ot is called Connect Now, was to be able to connect with staff at the school your children go to. So far the only connecting is teachers posting communications, there is no option to reply and no way to communicate with teacher to start a topic of conversation, Class Dojo was a much better app. DoE you have designed worst app ever

The phone app is practically unusable because of the login screen. It requires logging in every time with an obscure username number and password. If it remembered the login and password (like most other apps requiring login) then at least I could login easily. We dont need the hassle of remembering another login for just a school app, it's not a bank account! I revert to receiving emails instead. Also annoying, the notification sound is still at max volume after I turned the main volume down.

it's as functional as it can be. Very basic. I've experienced other apps way better in which I could access my kids profile, subscribe them to extra activities (the private ones like Aussiekicks), get access to photos and videos their teachers would eventually upload. However, what bothers me the most in this app is that it keeps disconnecting and I never can remember the username. At least if I could change into something more familiar...

Completely useless! The only thing this app does is allow you to view notices. You cannot email or interact in any way on the app. You have to go to the website. If your going to force schools to use this travesty of an app at least make one that works! 1 star is generous.. Let us choose a user name instead of forcing random letters and numbers on us that no one could ever remember!

I would not recommend this app at all! It is awful and clunky. My biggest peeves are that I have to sign in to the app every time I open it as it doesn't remember my username and password but most concerning is I do not get any notifications through it. I just receive emails. I find out more information on what is happening in my child's class and school from our mums and dads face book group.

Why is there no updates for this? Terrible App to be made to persist with. Constantly logs me out, does not retain username, notifications are non existent. When looking at attachments it goes "back" and then just gets stuck"loading" and have to close app, log in again to open attachment again.. just to go through the same peocess again!

A badly designed app that lacks basic settings and features. There is no technical support. Things like updating your email are pending for 3 months, unticking the box to receive email copies of notifications does not change anything, and opening the settings menu gives you no settings at all that you could change. What a nightmare for users.

Been using this app for more than 2 years now with no problem. It contains my child's school report, school and classroom updates and now I can't view anything or open the app. It says there is bug! I've uninstall and reinstall and it still doesn't work! Fix the the problem if you want us to continue using this app!

Slow, often breaks, not intuative, notifications don't take you to correct message, so you have to flop around looking for what was actually sent, but design is so poor, one cant find what you need, so usually just give up. Terrible user experience.

It doesn't work on the latest version of Android, it crashes and asks to contact the developer for an update. My phone is a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. Can you fix this ASAP, I can't read updates from school which are extremely important in the middle of the pandemic.

As per all others comments there is a bug in the app and it won't load. I've removed and installed the app again but made no difference. Please fix this app asap as this is the direct line of communication with my child's school/class and the school has informed us that we are expecting to recieve information via this app which is imperative. Fix Urgently!!!!!

it's a great idea to connect with teachers, however it's also annoying because there can be alot of alerts from teachers and then alerts from staff and then from parents comments it's just to much alerts, yes you can go in and turn off alerts from parents comments but doing that on every form from a teacher or staff member gets to much for me.. maybe automatically turn off alerts from parents comments would be a great step up. the idea of this app is awesome just needs a little more work

App has a bug and does not open on phone, crashes as soon as you attempt to open it. Notified the developer of the app, education department, however they told us to contact the school. Contacted the school and they told us to go to a phone shop/service provider to help us use the app. School also said we need to fix our phone as phone has the bug. Ridiculous app.
