So the last time I used this app, I had a positive balance of about $1.50, and I went to use it tonight and somehow I'm negative $4, and something. and I think it was so silly how it wanted me to add chunks of money at 1 time that I'll never be able to completely use. And I'm really glad I didn't permanently link a card because evidently, you guys just would have let someone have free range. So let my $5 loss be a lesson for you guys. Not a trustworthy app, you guys aren't getting the $4 back
I use the app at a workplace café. The app accrues points with every purchase but then doesn't allow the credits from points to be applied on a subsequent purchase. It's been reported numerous times to the vendor but they say the app is just buggy and that they've reported it on numerous occasions. This ought to be corrected as it is misleading.
Terribly inconsistent. Can go down and get a drink and the app will work and then 2hours later I go back down to the machine and the app just loads and loads and doesn't find the location so I can't scan my items. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now I can't even sign it. It just spins and spins.
I don't use this app often but something must have gone wrong during the last update. It worked fine like 2 or 3 months ago but now when I try to log in, it just keeps having me agree to the private policy. And no matter how many times I agree, it just keeps going immediately right back to it, making the app unusable. And I've tried reinstalling and using a different phone, all with the same results. The website just keeps giving me a "Failed to fetch" error message too.
Added the app and it was very easy to setup an account and add funds. Unfortunately, there is some other location mapping nonsense that is not allowing me to actually use the app to pay or login or interact with our machine at work. Makes no sense why my app identity can't just be used to pay. Location of our kiosk is not being discovered and the only prompt for manually adding a location asks for some esoteric alphanumeric input that is not visible anywhere on the machine or its screens.
When it worked out was fine, but now I can't use it at all. I tried to use it and I had to log back in, I entered my email address (verified it was the correct one), and it is supposed to send a code to my email to verify the account. It's been a week, and dozens of attempts later, still no code so I can't access the app. They is no in app link in this process to report issues so I'm stuck waiting.
I don't know if it's the app, their machines at work, or their system overall, but sometimes I add money using the app, and the money goes right through. Other times I add money, and it takes literally until the next workday for funds to show up in the machines. It's quite frustrating. When you're hungry. I try to keep it loaded, but there's been times where I've been so busy, and it sucks to pay and not be credited for hours.
The app is not what I expected. I got it since the sign said there are rewards and discounts, and there are no rewards. Just an ad for 25 cents off Red Bull. Super weird it doesn't let you input how much you want to recharge, kind of shady. No Google Pay option either. Also I don't know if the same company manages both the kiosks and app, but $1.62 for a candy bar is pretty steep and guessing everything else is 2x markup of retail price. If it was reasonable, I'd shop often. Skip the app.
They require so many points to get any account credit. Why is it 10 thousand points for a single dollar credit? Especially when you guys hike up the prices more than the stores. I made multiple purchases throughout two weeks, thinking I was gonna have a good amount of credit saved up only to see I would be getting a dollar credit... there's nothing even in the store that's only a dollar or less. I'm so glad I spent over 50 bucks to get a single dollar back. It's 30 thousand for $9, what a joke
This is such a horrible system. First of all, why do I need to add money to this app so that it can later pull money from the app to purchase items!? Why not simply make it so that I have an account. That account has my payment information, it scans the barcode from the app on my phone, and simply charges me for the exact balance. Unless of course such basic things are outside of your skill level or you are trying an underhanded method of getting more money from people.
This is very unreliable and has issues often. Some days it takes an extended amount of time to load your funds, some days it's right away. Like today, I keep getting the uh oh cant load funds message. Checked to make sure the app is up to date, and it is. It's very frustrating when you're at work and have no other oprions. I think the next time we have a union meeting we should bring up finding a better app or vender.
I downloaded this specifically so I could earn rewards since I spend money here anyways, but every purchase I make says I've earned 0 points, there's not even the page where it's supposed to track them that shows in the play store, the rewards aspect advertised is just missing. On top of that, you can't get money out once it's added. So if you have an extra $1 in your account, you just lose it, and the minimum amount to add is $10 so you'll just always have money stuck in purgatory. Sucks lol
While the idea is wonderful and the app has always functioned fine for me, it requires a minimum $5 deposit and no way to get your extra money refunded back to you. For example, if I have $1.15 in my account and drinks are $1.20, I have to deposit in a minimum of $5.00 just to get the extra .05 I need. And I also have no way to get back money I have already deposited. So once it's there, it's there until you spend it. Disappointing because the app itself and the idea is a good one. But the $5 minimum is crazy. A $2 minimum would be much better if they aren't going to let you get your money out of Connect and Pay purgatory.
When it works, it's great, but it has troubles detecting when it's near a kiosk. Usually I have to wait in line, and the line clears before the app finds the store. Sucks wasting your break trying to get the app to see find the store. They really need to add the option to save previously used kiosks(as well as add a custom name to the ones you save).
This app is awful. I'm sorry if you have to use it. The most glaring issue is the fact that the "touchless" part doesn't work. Even with it set not to require a pin, it asks you to enter a pin into the kiosk, completely defeating the "touchless"part. You will literally touch the kiosk less if you just scan your items are use a credit card. This app adds nothing except, amazingly, make it take, extra time and touches to buy stuff.
Borders on the brink of a scam considering you can never use a remaining balance. If you have $1 left and go to buy a $2 item, you can not use the $1 on your account and $1 from a different payment method. You also cannot add a custom amount of money, so you will almost always be left with extra money in your account. Most other apps like this give you the ability to use a remaining balance and different payment method. I'd highly advise against loading via the app or just use a CC to pay
Login, no longer possible through app. This is the second or third time I've been logged out ("only this one") after a security update. Which wouldn't be a bad thing. . . If the login process actually worked. When I tap sign-in, it takes me to my browser, then when I put in my login credentials it takes me back to the app where my only options are on the sign in page ("sign-in, forgot password, etc.")
It's not even kind of good. Always logs you off. You try to log in and says password or email is incorrect. Try to reset. Never sends email to reset, even though it says it recognizes your email. Prices are not correct with what's displayed in machine. Harldy ever picks up device to scan and pay. There is no more kiosk to swipe card.
Can't complete account set up. Won't read fingerprint to set that up. Also, tried to create acount through the app and after putting my gender and other information, I tap "Next" on the app and a pop up appears saying it encounter a problem and for me to check my internet connection. I checked, and I am connected. Wasted a good 20 minutes try all your different ways to set up an account and nothing worked.
Worthless. We have Connect and Pay machines at work. I put money in my account on the app. No machine would recognize it, said I had insufficient funds. Read the fine print, nothing updates in real time, meaning you could be waiting forever for the vending machines to recognize your account. The minimum amount you can put on your account to even ensure it works is 15 bucks. If you find it's not working for you, refund your money ASAP, delete your payment method and uninstall. Waste of time.
