CookieRun: OvenBreak

Pretty good as both a runner game and character collecting game. A lot of the cookies are really cute. I do find the story a little hard to follow, and the number of game modes feels a bit overwhelming sometimes. Tbh, I end up ignoring half of them. And I do tend to eventually get tired of the runner gameplay, leading me to uninstall. And then come back a few months to a year later when I feel like playing again. But it's fun enough that eventually want to come back.

I've been playing for like...6-7 years, now. It is the ideal version of a gacha game. DevSis have been at this for so long, they've become a prime example on how to fairly run a gacha game. There's so many characters, different stories to unlock, several game modes, recurring challenges, costumes that can drastically alter your meta, so on. It's both relaxing and challenging, and everything is completely optional. Plus there's so much kid-friendly queer representation! <3 I love it here

This game is really nice and smooth to play. The graphics aren't the best but since it's 10 years old it's acceptable; although, the characters are really cute and each one of them has a different skill and level where you can make them run. Honestly the online modes are my favorites, but you need internet connection even for playing alone. I recommend this also because it doesn't lag on phone :)

Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game. I'm addicted. This review is not about the gacha or the abhorrence regarding how much everything costs. It's about a certain level that I seemingly can't beat. Specifically Chapter 7, Stage 1 of Gingerbrave's Tale. Or any of Chapter 7, if it includes that. I'm seemingly having a hard time trying to beat it. I looked online to see that there used to be a feature where you could use two cookies, but now I cannot. Good game, but don't know what to do.

fun, but it will constantly say I'm offline even if I'm on wifi, which makes it super annoying to play sometimes. also, you NEED to get diamond rank to unlock more game modes, and everything after the tutorial is confusing. you need to max out your characters, which you need to somehow get more than once, which is impossible, so you have to spend so many crystals on upgrading characters.

Definitely one of the better cookie run games, the characters are awesome, the story from what I've heard is great (I'm not a story person) but, there are still issues, they removed the gacha system and instead added that other cookie obtaining thing, which confuses me a lot. The legendary characters, after a lot of research, are VERY difficult to get any sort of level up for, and high levels on the cookies you run as seems to be very important to the overall success of a run.

The game is amazing but on my phone,it's constantly crashing and when it's not crashing,certain screen elements (like jellies and obstacles in a run) magically disappear. It's unacceptable and needs to be fixed pronto. Especially since I am someone who puts money into this game when possible. But the game itself is great! Once fixed,I'll give it 5 stars again.

Game is Good so far! I enjoy the story line, and absolutely love the characters! One problem I have is, in Chapter 2, level 1, Ive been trying to jump onto the platform but I keep falling through it. I'm not sure if it's part of The Level, since I am new To the game, and just started yesterday. But, if it's a bug, I don't mind. The game is absolutely adorable, and cute to begin with. I've never seen a running game be this addicting! :) keep up the good work! I love the game!! ☺

Been playing for a while, & still like it. The updates are a good refresher when you get bored of things. It is free to play you don't have to buy anything unless you want to. Although two nit picks, the new poisoncookie and the storage. I don't like PoisonCookie's dialogue. It's way to jarring to hear voice lines when all the other cookies only make sounds. It's feels off. And the storage is getting way to big with each update. Otherwise would give it 5 stars. A good simple platform runner.

Genuinely addicted to this game; I play it EVERYDAY. I love it. It's a simple runner yet surprising game when you consider a cookie's level, skill, treasure, etc. I love the art and customization options. It has everything I want in a game but my biggest problem is how competitive it is. It's always ranking you against someone and its discouraging when you're just starting. Pls add a Freeplay mode in the future to just play with your friends without being compared to everyone in the world! 😭

Look, this game is far from perfect. The legend cookies are horribly pay-to-win (at least when they first release), and it keeps making basically useless changes to the UI and mechanics. But I can't deny that this game has charmed me to my core with its worldbuilding, art style, music, characters, and, most importantly, the core gameplay that ultimately keeps me coming back. Though I might not always play it, this game means a lot. Especially since it brought me closer to someone very special.

This game is cute, and I still keep coming back to it after a couple of years! My main problem now is that it feels like less of a gacha game, especially now that there's not a real gacha system to get cookies. The UI also isn't great compared to what it used to be, which in my opinion, was much better. The gameplay itself is still good, but the changes to the UI and gacha system kind of ruin the fun.

Totally not the kind of game I would normally play, but it was so cute I thought I'd give it a try and now I play it all the time! It's easy to get into, but is pretty complex (in a good way!). Focus on just running and having fun at first as you learn how to make your lil cookies stronger, and you'll figure out the leveling system as you go. Very FUN, insanely CUTE, mostly FREE (there are purchases but I've never felt pressured).

It is very Fun! They have lots of cookies you can unlock when you have many crystals But sometimes it can glitch a bit and have some issues, like when I was viewing my work, it suddenly froze. But beyond that, this is the most funnest games I have ever played!👍 The game includes different cookies time to time! It is very fun. They also have story's too! :)👍

Cookie Run is one of my favorite mobile games out there. There are events every month to get new Cookies, Pets, and Treasures, and the challenges are fun. However, unless you play it almost every day, you shouldn't expect to become a master. I've played for two years and only in the past few months made it to the Grand Champion's League. Overall, fun for most ages, super cute, consistently updated, and always good to take a break with.

This game has SO MANY FEATURES! It is so hard to be bored playing this. There are 8+ modes you can choose from, play with others, and the ads are optional! There are also a crazy amount of cookies to collect and level up, it's truly a masterpiece of a game. (Not to mention the storylines that come along with every cookie!!! The dedication is unmatched.)

This is a great game as a whole, it's just a large file. I have the game but something happened and it was uninstalled and since it takes up so much storage I am unable to get it back, losing almost 2 years of progress, that I'm really aggravated about it. I tried installing it again, but even if i deleted all of my other apps I still wouldn't have enough storage for it (I took a screenshot). If the game devs could find a way to make it take up less storage, that would be great. Thank you.

I admit what I love the most is how cute and fun the cookie designs are. For the most part as long as you just play you get resources to get hard-to-get cookies, so there's really no need to spend money. The only real issue is that sometimes the images will glitch out and becomes black boxes. However it's rare and turning the game off and back on (yes, really) fixes it and only seems to happen when I play for a long time.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game. I've been playing for almost 2 years now, but it has its fair share of issues now that I'm familiar with it. Obviously the file size is an isssue, and one that seriously needs to be resolved. But there's also lag issues and a clear in-game bias to those who pay for packages (making things almost unobtainable without paying by giving them a crazy low drop rate) and many things I can't go over with the review character limit. Try it if you have the space ig :/

Cookie Run is everything a mobile game should be. The art is cute, distinct, and cohesive, and the gameplay is fun and challenging without being frustrating. But the best part is that microtransactions are truly optional — the devs don't try to railroad you with impossible levels to get you to pay, and they're quite generous with free in-game rewards. I've sunk 20 hours into this game already, and I'm looking forward to putting in another 20.
