Cooking Diary® Restaurant Game

It's pretty fun at first despite the micro transactions. HOWEVER, after a while the upgrades get SO expensive that you have to back track to be able to get enough coin if you don't want to spend money. Also, if you don't want to spend precious gems if you fail a level, you lose ALL progress in whatever events that are going on and it takes a long time to recuperate any progress.

This is one of my favorite games! but over the past few weeks it's becoming harder to earn jewels. I purchase every week or so, so I am putting my own money in, but the amount of jewels you need to upgrade restaurants seems to have gone up. rewards are replaced with cards I can collect that rarely give prizes and hardly any jewels. The food trucks are fun to play, but it's 15$ to get the extra prizes, that's way to expensive. The other side games are way to hard and seem to be for taking jewels.

I used to love this game, but now....it's getting to be ridiculous! We were always able to buy the food truck at the discounted prices after the truck ended and also, they didn't end til the new one started! Now, u wanna end the truck 1hr before and charge full price! That is ridiculous and I've been playing this since the beginning. I'm freaking mad 😠

I use to absolutely love this game. I've been playing it for almost 2 years. Here recently I've had to stop because the cost to play is ridiculous. What's the point in creating a game if people can't afford to play it. I've seen the prices jump higher and higher over a short period of time and the greed of the makers is beyond me. If you want to play be ready to spend ALOT of money to complete levels. I use to be able to pass level after level without spending a penny but now that's impossible.

Playing for years and this game has been transformed from okay/frustrating to really great! Developers has made changes and instead of feeling so defeated in it - I'm always looking forward to playing! Some levels still difficult but its now a competitive vibe vs just a fail. Love the elements of the game, rewards, graphics and style. It's my get away from it all now! Thank you devs for listening to the players!!

I like the gameplay, but dislike everything else about the app. It always freezes because of all the popups and upselling of things that don't affect the core gameplay. I haven't needed to buy anything and I've opened 4 restaurants. I'm also not really interested in the story or mini games or the card collections. All this stuff feels like it has nothing to do with the main gameplay and I don't get it. I just wanna play the levels. They are so fun. But unfortunately the app is bogged down.

Reminds me of a game I played when I was a kid called Cake Mania. I wish that we could make decisions in the story that had consequences or rewards depending on what you chose. Like choosing to use the flavor enhancer or not. I also wish we could go back through and replay levels to make more money/rubies. There are too many adds when you open the game, it feels like I gotta click out of like 10 of them before I can get to playing.

Progresses well at first but quickly becomes difficult to pass levels without spending rubies, which are hard to obtain without spending real money. Aggressively pushes pop-ups encouraging the spending of real money for these rubies. Wanted to rate higher because the gameplay is fun, but the constant push to spend money is very off-putting.

great game except for the simple fact that upgrading anything (and thus progressing) requires gems AND coins. not only making the coins useless but forcing microtransactions on you if you want to make any meaningful progress. if i didn't download this as part of a program that pays me to play, i would not be continuing to do so for the simple fact that this game model is very cheap and dishonest.

I play this game alot. I enjoy there are no ads. For most part it's fun and gives good challenges with levels. I like it has alot of new restaurants. My Only issue is the circus challenge that comes up. I NEVER get past level 3. It's way too hard. There's no way too pass it ever. I don't mind a challenge but it's ridiculous. Other than that, it's a great game.

I really enjoyed this for the first few months. felt it was fun and made me feel like I was working on my mental organizational skills. But each update, especially lately, has made the game worse. It's almost impossible to beat levels without spending a lot of real-life money or wasting in-game resources. This isn't even pay to get ahead. it's literally multiple micro transactions just to win a few levels. I can't justify continuing on with it or even recommend this game.

It took a while, but I finally ran out of lives. I played more than is healthy for about a week and made it through several restaurants and to another island before that happened. That's when you start running out of lives and needing more money and gems to level up. It's the long con. 😂 It was fun and addictive while it lasted. Also, the only way I could exit this app was by opening settings from the notifications menu to switch to another app. Never had an app refuse to exit until now.

I really enjoy this game however as I've progressed in the game the amount of jewels needed to make upgrades has increased while opportunities to earn jewels (beyond paying) have remained the same or even decreased. First this resulted in me moving on from restaurant locations before I finished completing all upgrades and now it's very difficult to complete levels because I can't make enough money needed per round. I'm starting to feel frustrated and playing less frequently than originally.

I really enjoyed this game even to the point where I didn't mind spending money on a few things that would help me in the long run with difficult levels. But ever since the economy has been tough I have decided to gain rubies by playing 30 levels in a row for 10 rubies now it has decreased to 5 rubies per 30 levels won. I have lost motivation to even play now because 30 levels in a row I didn't mind the 10 rubies but now that it has changed to 5 it seems inconsiderate to most of us players.

Just don't even start playing. Over the past year the developers have done nothing but take away all that was good, fun and relaxing about playing this game and replaced it with things nobody asked for or wanted. Games should evolve, but the evolution should be beneficial for the players and the developers alike. Now we have a messed up conglomeration of pointless "enhancements" and a sharp rise in making the gameplay so difficult that you have to spend money. Lots of money.

I used to love playing this game and had previously given it a 5 star review. Now they've made it so difficult and so ridiculously expensive to be able to pass basic levels in very seriously thinking about deleting it. it costs too many rubies to upgrade and if you don't upgrade you don't pass. and the airline thing they keep doing is almost impossible to get to the end of. they have ruined one of my favorite games.

A reallt fun cooking game, lots of different restaurants and dishes to discover too so it doesn't get repetitive like other similar games! The story is also really engaging and has me hooked! I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next! Another fantastic thing about this game is that all ads are completely optional, and if you do choose to watch one you always get a nice reward 😀

I love this game! Update: Game is now pay to win. No longer fun. I put money into it before but I'm not putting my paycheck into playing just to pass a level. I know everything is expensive these days and I get it but this game has become a chore, just like my job. Spend 500 gems just to complete 5 levels and the boosters aren't coming very often anymore. Another game down the drain. Damn shame. I guess I'm just going to have to play my other games from now on. I wish I could have all my $ back.

This is one of the coolest newer cooking games I've gotten. I love story games, so the storyline is pretty creative. The guilds are also a cool addition to it, as well. I wouldn't recommend it though if you get stressed easily on games. At first, it's easy to serve customers, but it gets way harder.

The game keeps locking up and freezing and in the middle of a level it will just go completely out of the game and back to your phones home screen. Please fix asap because I love this game and want to continue to play. Thanks in advance!!!!! I was on level 32 in the 4th restaurant and now it just kicked be back to level 4!!!! I lost all my money and upgrades I made!!!!! Now listen I got knocked down to level 7 AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME AFTER WORKING BACK UP TO JUST LEVEL 17 NOW IM DELETING!!!!!
