A rudimentary app with little functionality and a major flaw: the language is set automatically to German if the phone default language is set to English. Language can be set but it takes some effort particularly if the app opens in a language one is not fluent in. Finding discounts requires the users to sift through a large number of offerings, a process I have tedious.
Personally, I preferred the interface of the previous version. The new design feels a bit messy and less clear compared to the earlier, cleaner layout. Other than that, I’m quite happy with the application overall.
software is rubbish. I'm constantly being automatically logged out. This has happened multiple times for no apparent reason. Updates cannot be postponed to a later more convenient time so I'm left standing in front of the self check out having to login yet again. Of all the supermarkets, I find Coop the least intuitive and for my taste overloaded.
I am also constantly logged out, I am queueing to pay and the cashier asks me for the supercard. I start the App, but the App asks for a password (12 characters, with mixed cases and puncuation signs). I look for the password and I login. Then it asks for a captcha TWICE . Then it ask me to update the software. I give up, no points. Later to redo the whole, it took more than 20 minutes. Next time shouold I block the queue at the cashier for 20 minutes to get the supercard number ???
The app size can be cut in half if you stick to the essentials. Why do I need to activate bons? am I not a loyal customer that deserves using them without bothering to click 10s of times? Why is there a limit on the number of active bons? Just play fair and we will be loyal.
there is no english language available!!! I understand th8s is swiss app however ....amount of expats in this country and to not have english language available ...thats a bit .. how shall I put it politely... sad . its an international language....please, add the english language. !!! and dont say there is english version available coz it isn't.. I can send the screen shot giving me only french german and Italian language option in settings
It's annoying that for every promotion where you could make savings you have to go into the app and activate it. As a result you either spend as much time in the app as you would once have spent hunting for coupons in newspapers, or if you don't have time for that you ignore them all and pay full price for everything. It makes me want to uninstall the app and even stop shopping at coop.
I wish the app would have English interface, but sadly it doesn't. Recently it doesn't even allowed me to log in. After entering username and password, it asked me to accept some terms and conditions, on accepting them the app told that my password was incorrect. I could login from my web browser and after accepting the terms there, the mobile app works again, but it was really annoying! Please test the app before releasing it!
Coupons activated that don't correlate to the check-out (even after hours and hours, and even with deactivation and reactivation), and unhelpful, unapologetic support staff when the problem is on their end and their fault (just say "Sorry about that!" How hard is it?! Jeez!). In-store staff helpless / unhelpful - they can't contact anyone or override the system when the app fails. Happened twice now, so I am losing faith in this system (am loyal, long-time app user, so pains me to say it).
It was fine when I first installed it, but then it suddently changed from French to German, and now I absolutely can't use it aside from scanning my card because I don't speak German!!!!! This is really getting on my nerves as you have rendered your app absolutely useless! I've tried clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing! My phone is android, OnePlus 8 Pro. Please fix this! This issue has really made me not want to shop at Coop!
The app is slow, no English language, widget is gone, barcode should be visible on home page, plenty of useless features no one cares about and biggest issue of all, can't automatically enable all vouchers. I guess this is done on purpose because who is gonna stand in front of cash register checking what's in the shopping cart and locating these items in the vouchers section, right? Clever way to stop people using them. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth...
After the latest update, the app is only in German. The issue happens when the default language of the mobile phone is set to English. The app defaults to German, with no way to change it. If your mobile language is French, then the app works fine. Opening the settings menu on android 13 does not include an option to set the app language, which still then defaults to German. Per-app languages are not available on oxygen os (oneplus phones).
Good be better if it were offered in English as well. Now, the widget with the code is not working.
a newer version, exactly the same garbage: forces relogin - basically useless as you can never use it when you need it
Use it daily. Works. Using this App on a daily basis, as I have Partner cards for my family as well. We make use of the various Action prices. Visibility, accessibility and networking of the APP is solid. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. No annoying commercials or constant updates either. Well done. Update 19.10.2021 The APP had a few updates and logs me out every time now. Fumbling at the cashier to always log on and open it again is no fun. Missed points already.
Super cool app, easy to redeem points, wish points accumulated quicker. English compatibility would be nice, I also wish it had more partners, it would be cool if I could also redeem for more then 100 chf at one time without having to do it multiple times. Purchases online should accumulate points as well
Very handy App. But I don't understand why the barcode is not the first thing displayed when opening the App. In 90% of the cases we open the App to take a Passabene scanner and we have to go menu->cards every time. At least provide an optional setting to have the barcode as a home page ! 😉 (or better to select any page as home page 😉)
Since the last update I am not getting any points or digital stamps for the new collection. In fact, the app only seems to pick up the purchases done in the shop and not on the online supermarket which would explain why I'm not getting my points or digital stamps. For the past two weeks I have done my purchases online and the rewards have not been updated. Please fix the app.
Many updates, that by itself is vers much ok, but whenever this happens, log in data is lost and you have to enter your login before you can use the barcode. Usually happens right when you are at the desk to pay, so unless you spend time to update and login, you are loosing the points.
The app has been in German since a while ago and I can't change it. It is just very poorly designed. No app ever stricts you to one language. Also, some cards don't work anymore inside the app. Fortunately, I have the physical card. I feel like this app is getting more and more broken
