Copa Airlines

This app is by far one of the worst airline apps I've used . Simple tasks as checking in, adding passport info, or a contact phone numbers is incredibly frustrating almost every flight I've taken I end up calling customer support which by the way is also rude and almost useless. The only way to solve all this issues has been to check in at the counter at the airport before the flight which defeats the purpose of a mobile app.

i seriously have too many issues with Copa Airlines, but the most is with their app and their system. I've gotten now 3-4 notifications via app and email, all saying my flight from 8 am has been delayed 1hr, then cancelled, then delayed 3 times. i called their customer service and in their backend everything is fine but the app now doesn't work. I'm always having issue with their app when I travel and it just gets worse. I'm close to suteing for the many issues

Barely better than Avianca, but Copa just does everything to make your life complicated. One reservation, Copa wouldn't let me check in, because the first ticket was on another airline (they couldn't give me boarding pass either), so I had to pass through immigration just to check-in and get the dang boarding pass. Basic economy won't issue you a boarding pass until 4 hours before unless you pay for seats... Airlines have gotten so stupidly greedy when technology should be SIMPLIFYING things.

This app is terrible and the website is barely any better. For Copa to be one of the Star Alliances with high airfare, their app should be better than this. I booked a flight but it doesn't show up in My Trips. I've tried adding it several times, get the pop up indicating it was saved but no matter what it isn't displayed on the page. Updating your profile is also a challenge with error messages that entries are not in the appropriate format but it doesn't give guidance with the correct format.

App crashes everytime I open it. Clearing cache did not resolve. Browser experience is not much better. It does not remember my language setting. After login, the locator record was missing my wife so I could not check her in or get her boarding pass. Stood in long, slow line at the Quito airport for in-person check-in.

Works about as good as their hub (airport). Can't book a flight or even look up details of a flight. Get an error every time. "We are sorry, we have detected unusual behavior in this session. Please try again later or use a different browser. Please contact support: Error F04GHS" Use a different browser. It's your own app!

The airline itself is actually pretty good, unfortunately their software engineers seem to be some of worst in business. Website and app both constant problems or plain don't work in some browsers.

so far its been real easy to use ... i wish i could reveive reward points for purchasing tickets as well as traveling .

Update log in works, but I can't save a new card.. Even when everything is bright.. On the laptop, it took a long time to load the account page.. Like10 minutes when my speed test shows, i'm getting a 174gb down &^ nearly same up-)) but if it wont add card it wont :"buy. so. whoo hoo... * visa is not the problem.. mmmm gigabyte hmmm o.0

some of the advertised features do not work like the Upgrade waiting list even though is 24h before the flight, the companion add-on also does not show in my trips, etc

BEWARE this is a Panamanian company and they do not honor US regulations. their flight credits and modifications are scams. you loose 50% of your ticket value. I will never flight with this airline again. terrible customer service and 0 transparency.

couldn't even log in?? first of all I tried creating an account but I couldnt because I'm underaged. so then my parents made an account and I tried logging in, and it rerouted me to Copa airlines website, and all the popped up is a dead page that says "this page is unavailable." so then I deleted the app and downloaded it again, and same thing happens. Even if I were to log into the website, I can't see all my flight data, boarding pass, ect. terrible app, would never recommend.

The update now logs you out after a period of not using it. it takes forever to log back in, since it goes back to a browser. Also, if you search for a fight it never gives you any options about flexible dates, very annoying when you do not know which days the airline Flyes to a specific destination.

Worst airline and shameless people. App poorly designed and buggy. They force you to pick a paid seat in order to issue your boarding pass. If this is not extortion I don't know that it is

Punctuality was the goal, and Copa Airlines, for my needs was excellent. cleanliness and customer care also good.

Just reloaded the app and it's just as bad and my VPN is off so what's the excuse for it being non-functional

Terrible. App works very slow, pages sometimes load, sometimes it's just a white background without any error. Checking in is a terrible and slow experience, and payment for extras doesn't work (I tried 3 different cards).

Does not allow me to pay for my ticket or pay for my reservation seats. I always get errors. For the past three years I've purchased many tickets for Copa and I've always end up calling customer service to complete my payment. I ask why their website always gives me an error when making a payment and their answer never makes sense.

It used to be fine. The update ruined it. Giant letters. Giant dialog boxes on the screen and they don't move to press the accept button.. It is assumed that before releasing the version it goes through a review and quality team to release it to the consumer. Obviously it doesn't work.

The app is terrible. If your flight is changed or canceled it just says talk to an agent. You can't call COPA as the system magically hangs up on you while on hold. The app has no notifications of something has changed other than see an agent. Navigation is confusing as well. Information on the app is very limited compared to other airlines. Do yourself a favor, read the reviews of COPA terrible service and find a better airline that understands business and customer service.
