I joined it out of curiosity after hearing a friend mention how different it was from the usual dating platforms, and from the moment I signed up, I could tell it was built for real connections, not just casual swipes. The interface was sleek, clean, and easy to navigate, with no confusing options or fake-looking ads. Setting up my profile took only a few minutes — I uploaded my photos, wrote a short bio, and selected my preferences.
I decided to try the Cougar Dating app because I was curious about age-gap dating platforms and wanted something more specific than regular dating apps. From the beginning, the app felt focused and straightforward. It’s clearly designed for mature women (often 35+) and younger men who are interested in confident, experienced partners. It's my favorite always.
You can't do anything in this app unless you pay. Or the person on the other end paid member. :) Can't even see local matches. I got 15 messages within first 3 minutes. All of them from somewhere but local and some even other countries. :) All of them trying to get you to different messengers or websites. You can guess why. ;) Not worth the time or effort. Sucks.
This app is trash. Within an hour of creating my profile, I got around a dozen messages. Every single one was spam. Many of the messages used the exact same script. Absolute garbage and waste of time. Also, I would upload my photos and complete my profile and go back and check and everything was there. But then I'd close the app and come back some time later and all the photos were gone and so was the bio. Trash.
Pay to message?? What. I just made an account, I got 20 messages & counting in literally 10 mins, but I can't reply unless I pay. That's the only thing I don't like. Everything else is cool, but now I'm missing out on opportunities. I'd think the first 5 messages could be free. Oh well, though, it was cool while it lasted. On to the next app
Overall I'd say that this is a solid concept, and with a little fix or two it could be something pretty noteworthy. I like the social media aspect outright and I feel like there aren't bots in the high concentrations of the other similar sites. Imif they made it so that you didn't have to pay but you could like watch an ad or some other method of using the premium aspects, that would change the game.
Claim there is free options. However, I see NO such thing. Everything is behind a paywall. Don't waste your time! It's just like another user review said. App is also spamming, when you try to back out to close the app it automatically reopens. Only way to actually close it is to force close. Other high reviews must be paid/fake reviews to draw people in.
The pay options are to pricey. For an app trying to connect ppl they sure want you to pay for it. And I think it's silly how you can't message without a subscription. Messages is like the base of any connection and they want you to pay for that. Only messages I can send is after someone messages me first. Other than that it's okay. It's like TAGGED with less spam but still some accounts are spam.
I was pretty skeptical at first-another app promising "meaningful connections," right? But what won me over almost instantly was the quality of the matches. It wasn't just a random flood of profiles; I actually kept seeing people with shared interests or a similar outlook pop up. It felt like the app took a second to actually look at what I wrote in my bio, not just my photos. That little bit of intention makes starting a conversation feel way more natural and less like a shot in the dark. Loved
The "fast reply" feature isn't just marketing here-it's the norm. What stands out is the quality behind the speed. Matches tend to be mature, articulate women who can hold a conversation. I don't feel like I'm interviewing or entertaining a bot. The video verification likely filters out the casual or insincere crowd. I've found myself checking the app less obsessively because when I do log on, there are usually meaningful messages waiting, not just empty matches. It's efficient in the best way.
Feel just a little more meaningful. I've noticed so many little details that cater perfectly to mature users. For example, the night mode is easy on the eyes when chatting at night. You can upload multiple photo albums to your profile, which lets you show your true self while still protecting your privacy. There's also a dedicated manual review team. I once reported a suspicious account that seemed like a marketing scam, and soon after, I received a notification saying it had been handled. Liked
I usually spend a few hours a day exploring different sections of the app. it's honestly very entertaining. There are comedy groups, educational groups, and also short one to one conversation. the best thing I noticed is the users are respectful and the environment isn't annoying at all. The rules are simple and people follow them.
This app surprised me! The interface is intuitive and I had no trouble browsing profiles or chatting. It actually feels more natural compared to other dating apps I’ve tried. I met two real people here, and we had some nice conversations. Of course, there are occasional bots, but not too many. The paid features are a bit pricey, but the free version still works fine. Overall, a solid option if you’re looking to meet new people.
I've tried plenty of dating apps before, but CougarD really stands out for anyone interested in cougar dating. This dating app is built for people who want to connect with mature women and elite singles who know what they're looking for. The interface is easy to use, and the chat function works smoothly for real conversations. I've met genuine, confident people here with clear intentions, and the matching system helps you find like-minded users quickly. It's a reliable, down-to-earth platform!!!
Great app with a fun, confident vibe! I love how easy it is to connect with genuine people who know what they want. The profiles feel real, the matching works well, and the conversations actually go somewhere. If you’re into cougar dating and want an app that feels welcoming and exciting, this one is definitely worth trying.
Grad school is stressful and i needed a break from dating people my age who play games. CougarD popped up and I figured why not. profile took two minutes. Honestly did't expect to meet someone I actually look forward to seeing but i matched with vanessa; she loves the beach as much as I do. The app runs smooth, notifications aren't annoying , and i can pause it when exams hit. it's relaxed, exciting, and makes me smile every time her name pops up.
It is, I think, around two months that I am using this app and actually good and helpful. I mostly get the app and look for friends and people to talk to them. l am student of university in a different country and I am at my first semester, so usually when I have time get the app and it two week that found a friend and she is good. We often talk about classes, and living far from home. It is nice to have someone who understands me and makes me feel less lonely in this new city every day.
Tried CougarD thinking it'd be casual and fun for meeting younger guys. It's more hookup-focused than I expected—lots of explicit stuff right away. The app is clean, notifications aren't spammy, and it's free unless you want extras. Way less fake profiles than dedicated cougar sites. Tons of messages, but quality varies—some genuine, some just thirsty. Not for serious dating, but if you're after no-strings fun without judgment, it gets the job done.
Tried of the usual dating apps full if superficial matches. CougarD's focus on age-gap connections was refreshing. Setup took like 3 minutes. Filters helped me find women who share my love for board games and craft beer. The app lets you pause your profile easily when life gets busy. It’s low-drama and actually fun to browse sometimes. App is fast, no lag, and the “read receipts” on premium are low-key useful. It’s been surprisingly easy to have real conversations.
I start my day with the usual swipe, but CougarD keeps impressing me with its smart features. I can set my preferences for age, interests, and distance all at once, and it serves up great local matches almost instantly—likely thanks to a large, active user base nearby. Just last night, I got five mutual likes within ten minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. Features like read receipts are incredibly handy, taking the guesswork out of wondering if someone saw your message.
