I want to support Canada, but crave is difficult at times. ads show up at the worst times, right in the middle of a sentence someone that is speaking. volume of ads is horrible. one is low, next is so loud it can wake a person up across the house on my fire stick app. I'm ok with watching ads because the cost to get rid of them is high, but please work on timing and level out the volume. it's so bad I have to star rate low. also, ads freeze up and I have to close the app and restart it.

Ever since an update the amount of times it buffers is like watching movies from a long time ago with buffering problems. This is unexceptable. Also the amount of movies or shows I actually wat h is slim pickings for the price. Even boxing week prices is not worth it. Before someone says it's my router or internet connection....I have no problems with any other streaming app. just crave. not one other app.

Don't subscribe. I subscribed 2 days ago, and when I saw you have to sit through 24 ads in ONE episode, I upgraded to no ads. Since then, I haven't been able to get through one episode because it keeps lagging, then freezing, and then restarting. How is it legal to charge for a service they're not providing? Definitely canceling just like everyone should. I can't wait till Crave goes bankrupt.

No problem with the content, but app does not work well at all. It keeps lagging ang glitching, especially when ads come up. I have to disconnect from casting when it happens, then it starts the episode at the beginning instead of picking up where I was. Then when I try to go back to the right place, I have to watch adds again. I am all for subscribing to something else than Netflix but I don't see how you can compete with such a defective app.

Casting shows is a nightmare. It causes the volume on my TV to glitch, randomly decreasing but doesn't allow me to change the volume with my remote or phone. so eventually, the volume ends up at 0 and I can't do anything to fix it except cancel the cast. My internet connection is great, and it still glitches and forces me to close everything during the second ad block of my watching session. Basically useless, for waaaay too much money.

Crave is fine since there's not a lot of options for HBO access in Canada without a VPN. However, they have multiple movies and shows in their library that were originally filmed in English, but only have the broadcast rights for the French versions. This is pathetic and very cheap. I will be cancelling my subscription and use a VPN for the content I wish to access.

1/10 - only have this because they have a monopoly on HBO Max The only award this app should hold out for is "Worst Streaming Service". You pay the same premiums as other services but get ads at that rate, and NO HDR?!? Plus the player app is glitchy, if you pause and close the app it'll start playing the show in the background within 10 mins, sometimes it just won't load the next episode and you have to force close->clear cache->re-open to fix the app. Shame on you, Bell Media.

Poor Customer Service. The app is buggy. However, my issue has been dealing with customer service. Big ZERO STARS. 1. Movies without invariant sub titles ... 2. Sound out of sync... 3. Picture quality, (With Superfast Fibe)... After all troubleshooting ... Sorry, but there's nothing we can do for you. No subtitles? Out of sync? Bluetooth or not. I thought a friend's torrents were bad 15 years ago. But an expensive streaming service??? It's ridiculous that these issues even exist.

App is very buggy. User experience in general is very poor. Choosing a language preference in you profile is simply a messy procedure that is very unnatural and not at all intuitive. At least if you're doing this, please give us the choice to put it in the "original language" by default. Loading into the app fails about 50% of the time. You need to go to a different selection menu to see the shows/movies you started instead of having them displayed at the top of the main screen. Very bad ux.

There are some minor glitches that I can get over, but my main issue is that they cancel my subscription every single month and make me restart a new subscription. They never have a good answer for me. I'm sure once I'm totally annoyed I'll just cancel for good, which is unfortunate. Resolution of issues seems to be non-existent. The app won't even open anymore, even when I uninstall and reinstall multiple times. I'm so done - this app is garbage.

A half assed attempt at a streaming app, pretty sure a monkey could do better. Terrible user interface, nothing is intuitive, and the buffer time is atrocious. Randomly skips forward an episode, often glitches, crashes or messes up in ways I didn't think would be possible. But Bell is a known terrible company that puts profits over people (customers and employees), and uses their monopoly as an excuse for poor performance. I would be ashamed of this app if it were something I built.

I'd like to report a bug privately but I can't find any avenue to do so, therefore I'd be happy to take this review down if I find an alternative means of communication. While watching on the tv app with subtitles on if you skip the intro credits the subtitles are no longer synced. I can't guarantee that is the cause but it's happened multiple times at the start of multiple episodes.

I have a subscription as a part of my mobile contract so decided to set it up, the ads are reasonable on some content but way over the top on others. The biggest issue is that it is ALWAYS having errors while streaming and you have to hard close the app a few times then start again. It is the ONLY app that gives me issues. Don't waste money when you can get the same content with providers that actually fix their apps.

User interface is not very good. Also, there are just sooo many ads, it's crazy! And, I pay 10,75$ per month! I just can't believe it honestly... It has more ads than free content providers like Tubi or Pluto TV, which is insane, considering that I pay for it. As soon as you leave the movie or Tv show and restart the watch, because of the bad interface, you'll get [at least] 45 seconds of ads. You'll also get 1 minute ads every other 20 mins or so.. Underwhelming to say the least :(

I'll be cancelling as soon as my commitment is up. Purchased a TSN/Crave bundle. I chose the slightly cheaper version thinking 2-3 ads an hour wouldn't be a big deal. Instead, each 45 minute program is about 7 minutes of commercials, including one right before a program starts. That's far too much for a service I'm already paying for.

I believe the captions can be better. They are almost done. I would like to see them reviewed regularly for accuracy, omissions and completion. There could be built-in error reporting. I also think lower resolutions should be available, currently 540p is the minimum, but there is no reason it couldn't be 360. However, overall the application functions quite well for what it is, a video streaming library, I do not experience any significant buffering, delays or skips.

The worst streaming service you could subscribe to. If you choose to overlook their poor lineup of content, and their clunky and heavy user experience (everything feels heavy and slow to load), you'll still be inundated with ad breaks every few minutes, and sometimes the ads will get stuck forcing you to exit and return only to then be immediately hit by another forced ad break which has a 50/50 chance of also getting stuck, and on and on.

worst commercial software ever written. if it were freeware, I would say "nice try Junior dev, but go back to school". Do not pay a monthly subscription fee for this. Crashes all the time on all platforms, freezes, forgets where you are in each show, then plays all of the ads again when you try to find the place they lost you.

Constant glitches in the app on my phone and ipad. Account signed in, yet will not allow viewing. Continues to ask me to sign in through a TV provider. Or it simply will not play the selected show. Constant error codes on all 3 of my telus TV boxes that they can't seem to resolve. This is the most expensive streaming service I pay for, yet, it is absolutely the worst platform to navigate on my television, and works less than 50 percent of the time on my phone or tablet. Unacceptable.

got it cuz it has the show I wanted. but the ads are insane. out of all the streaming apps this one has the most amount of ads. 4 per round and like 5 rounds in a 1 hr episode. and they just put them in in the most random moments. if I had it on cable at least u can record it and fast forward the ads . I know this is to get me to go no ads. but I'm not paying $20+ a month. get rid of so many ads.
