I've subscribed to this app for 3 years, but a few months ago, the sound stopped working. It didn't just go all at once, & sometimes certain sections (especially if they are new) will have sound. Additionally, when my subscription lapsed, there was sound again. Writing to the helpdesk seems like dealing with AI that just rattles off something from the FAQs, and I'm at the point where I'm sorry I renewed this last time. I'd like to use the app on the kids' tablet, but it's too big to download.

The app itself is great and kids love it but it is impossible to share the subscription between devices which makes it useless unless I let the kids use my phone. I pay for the subscription through Google play and created a create and play profile, the app is on kid's tablets (who use a linked family account), and then they are logged into the same create and play profile on the kid's device. I'm successfully logged in but it won't recognize the subscription on their device.

My daughter loves this app. She has only a few quality apps on her tablet and Crayola create & play makes that list. Have subscribed and it's definitely worth the small monthly cost of $5. edited: have gone to put on another device and now it's a yearly cost. can you bring back the monthly subscription please? it's priced me and probably many others out of it. I cannot afford to pay $60+ outright even if it is down from $150 for a year. The monthly option was way better.

My daughter loves this app but it's unending issues accessing the subscription. She constantly gets signed out of the app on her tablet and then after logging back in, cannot access our subscription. I'm constantly having to uninstall and reinstall. it's a bit ridiculous. Also, that stupid promotional video that plays at every single start up is ridiculous. I thought paying for a subscription would have gotten rid of that but nope.

All Time Favorite... my kids enjoy the Google Play Pass, unlocking the full version. There is no shortage of activities and the creators of this delightful app are frequently updating content. Animations and an interactive world add to the charm The little Crayola universe feels exciting. Featured drawings throughout the map are great. Love it. We've had it for a long time and today I put it on my own device (me, a full grown woman) because it offers a little creative escapism.

My five year old daughter loves this game. It's about twenty four dollars per year for the upgrade, and it really does open up the game for a lot of additional things to explore. 10/10 recommend. No ads, and not a brainwash game.

first the game seemed fun, my kid was so excited to have it and play with it but before you know it over half the games including the ones she looked forward to were locked, the goal chest is locked, the quest looking thing in the bottom left corner is locked. everything's locked behind your subscription! there's nothing fun about it since you have to pay and I can't afford to pay a subscription (no matter how cheap it is) you shouldn't even need a subscription anyways! it's a colouring game!

My kids love the app, but despite it saying that I can share it with you to 5 devices, it will not let me share my subscription with their tablets. Their devices acknowledge being logged in but do not recognize the purchase.

Even with the free version, my child loves this game (especially the cones game!) Very limited ads, which can be expected for a free version but the ads aren't every 5 minutes, very long, or frustrating. When abit more financially stable, will absolutely purchase the full version for my daughter and recommend the free pass/free version to follow parents :)

Smithsonian Museum click crashes the app on Fire HD 8 (12th Generation). the FAQs say to have at least 2.5 GB free space to run the app. I have 25 GB free space. so when you click on the Smithsonian Musuem to enter it, the app crashes. after buying the subscription, you would think the app would work seamlessly. not the case.

This is my three year-olds favourite app (well, tied with another Crayola app actually). It's the only game she really wants or desires (aside from 3 others, max, that arent played nearly as much. Truthfully, I wasnt jazzed about paying $3.99 for yet another app subscription. But after the one week trial, it was clear we finally had a game our child actually wanted to play instead of watching Youtube Kids, at every tablet opportunity.

Downloaded this on my sons tablet. It says its $29 to pay for the app after the trial expired. I click to subscribe and it says I can't make the purchase from the tablet nor from my Google family account so I try to make an account from my phone so that I can sign in from my son's tablet. From my phone the purchase price is $38. That's a red flag. There are so many other educational apps that don't lie about their pricing. Uninstalled.

When we originally downloaded this game, both my daughter and I loved it! It has so many mini games filled with creativity and learning! With just this last update, we were very upset to see that now half the mini games are locked unless you pay for the subscription. My daughter is very sad that all of her favorite games and coloring are not an option anymore. I understand that you have to run your business like a business, but I am upset that it started out completely free, and now it's not.

The app looks awesome, but it won't start on a restricted account. It just hangs forever. I'm not giving my 5 y/o unrestricted access to the device, so the app is basically useless. Even on an unrestricted account it needs to download a video before anything else will happen, so it won't work offline. Why oh why do developers needlessly hobble their products like this? It's so unnecessary.

I really like this game. The only default it has is you have to subscribe and pay 24.99 a month just to unlock half the stuff. My daughter used to play it all the time but when I told her I wouldn't pay for her to have all the stuff she doesn't play it often. Now she plays scribble scrubby since everything is free. If you could either lower the price of the subscription to like $10.99 or $9.99 a month that'll be nice or just make half or all of the games and things free

Edit: They actually fixed it so it works now. Changing my review from one star to five star. The price, in my eyes, is acceptable ($25 a year) for how much my son has been playing it. Thank you for actually putting in the effort to fix it! I have not had any issues like other reviews mention, this has worked perfect since the update. Old Review: Doesn't connect through WiFi. My son has been playing the free trial for the last few days and enjoys everything here, so I decided to look at how much the subscription would be, $3.99 per month or $24.99 for a year subscription. However, unless you have mobile data (so not just WiFi like the tablet my son plays on), the app will give you errors and will not be able to connect. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring issue. Crayola's response to these issues is it isn't acceptable that the errors are happening and to visit their support page. Their support page is a generic FAQ that doesn't provide any help, and if you want to contact Crayola for help, it is either a generic help phone number or generic help email address; there is no specific contact information for the app/ development team. My son loves this, so if you get it fixed I would love you give you money so he can play, but until it is fixed, one star review.

Downloaded, got my free trial, and then it immediately needed to download another file update and it won't download. It keeps popping up "sorry problem with network, please try connecting to a WiFi network and restarting your game" when I'm already connected to my home WiFi with a strong signal and it's working fine with all my other apps. I even tried closing, forcing stop the app, a few times and even when that didn't work, I tried deleting cache & cookies on my browser and even uninstalling and reinstalling it and same issue...

I liked it and all but I wish it doesn't give you a connection error when your done with something. I used the color mixer multiple times and it lost connection. Also using red and white in the color mixer doesn't exactly give you pink. I also want other shades of yellow, red, and blue. I also want MORE molds. The ones that the app has aren't really apeeling to me. Crayola please respond because a ton of your games need to be fixed

Problem has been resolved. My daughter used to love this app so I paid the yearly subscription, now she has informed me that in order to play I need to buy keys to access certain things?!?!? I've had this app for a few years now where she had access to everything and now you're making us pay for things she has played previously on top of the yearly subscription?!?! The problem has been fixed and was taken care of very fast and friendly. Will recommend app to parents with creative kiddos.

The game is OK but expensive. On android it's $34.99 per year, on Amazon it $59.99 per year. Regardless of the difference in pricing those should be one-time fees not yearly. I purchased the Google play pass but it still didn't unblock the game as advertised. You can't create a profile without signing up to a subscription first. The game is OK, the business practices of the developer are kinda shady.
