Just got an update, and now I can't download models, and can't access the printer camera after I leave the app. The last iteration of the app was better, this version is almost unusable if you're actively printing, and you can't save anything unless you're printing. There were more print options in the last version. This version should almost be called Creality Cloud Lite....
I had never even seen a 3d printer in use. Bought a creality, downloaded the app and started printing. There is for sure a learning curve, but read the help info on the app and it walks you through it and provides links. it's a great app. still learning the incentive system but it does allow you to get free stuff and you can get discounts on new stuff!
Updated I've used this app for over a year. It runs smoothly for downloading and slicing models on my phone. Having a Creality wifi printer isn't required for downloading. Loads of free and paid models. Checking in daily and other small tasks nets you points for free , it can take some time before you have enough to get something decent (1 year for free filament), but worth a few minutes if your time, plus there are some cool user made models.
The latest update has made this app much harder to use. I keep having issues printing something on the workbench page and trying to print something new after it's been completed or canceled. every time I try to print a new one it keeps going back to the last print that was canceled or completed and won't start the new one easily. I've tried to close the app and even that doesn't work sometimes or turning off my printer and turning it back on. The update is full of bugs
I much prefer to use Creality Print as a sliver, but being able to monitor my prints while I'm out the house is a fantastic feature. Knowing that I can stop a print dead in its tracks if a spaghetti monster invades my build plate gives me peace of mind. As far as the rest of the app goes, it's serviceable. It's not perfect, but it absolutely works. I can see it being a great springboard for beginners.
This is a cool app and I like that there is a whole community and system within it. I just wish I could make more detailed adjustments in the mobile slicer. I can't make hardly any adjustments in the app, the numbers keep switching back. And the web browser cloud slicer won't even show the model to slice and the profiles don't save so I have to use a third party slicer software on my PC
I'm primarily using it for my k1 max and the app is very inconsistent. It says I have 3 prints going on at the same time, I only have 1 printer. And the camera is very hit or miss, sometimes it can connect, sometimes it can't. It also can't refresh quickly enough even though we are in the same network. Pls fix for better support for the k1 series.
App has really bad connectivity issues. Even on home wifi the camera feed is really intermittent. It also pauses my prints on its own, and then says I need to push the button on the printer to resume. What's the point of being able to start a print remotely if it's going to pause itself and not allow you to continue? Come on creality, I know you can do better. *edited to add, will revise this to a 4-5 star if you fix the mobile issues with the mobile app. Everything else works just fine.*
The app has problems loading things at times, and it doesn't seem they check legitimacy, or ownership, on the model store. However, controlling my printer from the app works great for the most part. I'm able to easily check the camera and print models directly from the app. There doesn't seem to be a place to change printer settings though, but it works well enough.
Can't slice anything as of late but it was never great to begin with. It would often slice without supports despite being enabled. Can't go back and edit parameters without having to redo the whole model. The camera would often go dark and fail and require a printer power cycle. Almost every print, the Lidar would tell me the model failed, but when I check it would still be going. This app could be better like Bambulab's. On PC I don't even use Creality to slice it is so behind others.
Note most recent reviews would give this app 2 stars at best. Obviously needs a complete workover. Same problem with accessing the camera that everyone is reporting, and it is the camera creality suggested for my brand new Ender 3 V3 KE. Can't save time-lapse videos to my phone. Says I need to give the app permission to access photos, media, and files. Turned on every permission availabl and still says the same thing. Need to update the app to work with their own cameras. I have 4 creality printers and love them, just got a couple K1 and have been pleased with them so far. honestly the only complaint I have at this point with the app is the overwhelming advertising all over the place, it would be nice to just go take care of my prints on the app without having to scroll through a bunch of other stuff I don't need or want. I'm also not able to change print speed in the app, seems like a pretty simple feature that should no doubt be there.
Just started in the "Printing" realm. So far app has done wonderful. Print from it and check on how project is doing as far as time. I don't have camera yet. Downloading to machine is easy and fast (if you have good Wifi) I have saved some files on phone but cant find them. (but I think that is me) LOL! Easy to use and go through. Good App Overall.
Feels like this app is mostly ads for itself. I want to use my printer and the app is less concerned with loading files to print than it is with getting you to perform tasks for coins so you can buy someone else's model from their extremely bad "marketplace". If it was focused on the printer instead of the gamification of their app I might see the value.

It's a good app to find pre-made models that can be free or purchased. Unfortunately there is no way to make your own as there are no tools in the app for that. Currently I have for some reason lost the ability to slice anything that I haven't already done and some from models that are currently incomplete. Trying to make a trouble call to tech support is harder than pulling my own teeth. The whole app is not very intuitive unless you want to pay and when you do there is no guarantee it works
Continously fails to load the camera with error 9999. Have to shut down the app and hope it works when you open the app, click around to get to the devices, and then the camera. Usually, it still fails, and you do it again and again until it opens. Also, it is not great at loading certain files to slice, then print via k1 max.
Being completely new to 3d printing. This app is helping a great deal. At first, I had an issue navigating back to the workbench to see the progress of a print. I changed in the settings for the app to open to the workbench. After changing the opening page, I learned it was called workbench and found the quick link at the bottom of the screen. This app and its layout is making the entire learning process fast and easy for me.
It's been pretty handy being able to slice online and download to an SD card for my offline printer. They make it harder than it needs to be to download the gcode for offline printers and there isn't an offline mode for slicing locally but it is a handy tool that does what it was designed for well. Edit 1: It needs something to let you know the percentage of the current active slicing so you don't have to guess when you are allowed to slice the next model.
Prints are great. I wish I could figure out how to bring some of my favorites from thing averse to this app so I can print them. The ones I tried have been blocked there is a pop up that says to give credit to the creator but you are not able to enter anything. in trying to bring in outside prints there are a bunch of confusing questions. I want to print, not fill out paperwork
The cloud is good after I've not been printing for a while. It just seems easier doing the slicing on my phone app and sending it through the cloud to the printer. Works well with my K1 Max, and even better on my K2 Plus with CFS. Creality are on top of their game and are only going forward in making it easier for ones like me to just jump in and give it a go. My Ferret Pro scanner works a treat with the slicing App as well...👍🏽
