This is a wonderful game I love the challenge of some of the puzzles and I don't mind the adds yall have but yall need to look into fixing the adds where they actually play. 99% of the time I have to close out the app and restart it and that's aggravating. Please fix that problem and I will def kick it to 5 stars. follow up. ad problem seems to be fixed so 5 stars it is!
Just right on expert level, but it's mostly just arithmetic, there are some portions of the puzzle that require a touch of algebra. it's a fun game!. I don't understand the reward system and I don't really like care to. I just want to play the puzzles. it's not like a spaceship game where you need to upgrade your Shields or lasers or something. my brain is the laser, lol
I started playing this when you introduced it in 2023. I bought a new phone? And lost every ounce of data. Pretty bummed about that. I enjoyed the new daily bonus with the puzzle, but I'm down to Lv1. No more daily quests, one million coins gone, 2k worth of hints disappeared, everything gone. It's a nice game, too. Username and zero ads? Also gone. Tried contacting support, no response. I'm not paying again.
This is a fun game that makes you think. Somehow, it seemed the expert level was easier than the hard level. The reason for 3 stars is the ads take longer to watch than playing the game. Everytime you finish a puzzle, you get two ads that run forever. I have started closing the app as soon as an ad pops up. I will likely uninstall it soon when I find something better.
You can't even play the games because of the ads. The ads are overwhelming and they never close out. The ads will just sit there idle and never give you the option to close the ad. I tested this across many of ads/devices for over 20 minutes and the ads still only had the info and google play store option, no way to close the ad and continue playing. Fix the ad experience and I might give it 2 stars. If you want to play the game, you have to close the app and re-open it to get rid of the ad.
It's fun but the ads just became overbearing, they trigger at the end of a round after ~49 seconds of gameplay. As someone who plays on hard mode with an average round length of about a minute, I'm pretty much always just over the threshold, so I get an ad after almost every round. It just got too annoying. I'd buy premium if it was half the price, but as it sits, it's just not worth the $8 for me
plagued full of ads. when you first start the game you get to play a little bit without ads, come back, each puzzle has an ad on the bottom, finish the puzzle get an ad, start a new puzzle ad on the bottom. this is nothing more than a passive income for the developers of a simple game that a modern 5 year old could make
I really like the gameplay, but I'm uninstalling this. I expect to pay for my pleasure by either watching ads or forking out cash. This game, however, compels watching the full ad every level. There's no entering the zone with this one. It's too bad, because I really liked it. This experience means that I won't install any Guru Games ads in future.
I really liked it at first and the puzzles are enjoyable and challenging. However the ads became ridiculous and take multiple Taps to even get out of them. It ruined the enjoyment of the game for me. I understand ad's support games but there is a reasonable way to do short ads with one tap to exit instead of up to three or four taps. I will delete this game after I make sure my review is here.
I was really enjoying this until the ads started. The first couple of ads were the usual. But then came an ad that never ended. I mean, it came to an end but then offered no means of closing it. No X, no arrow, nothing. Touching anywhere opened Play Store. It's like in order to continue playing the game you had to install the game in the ad. After 3 minutes of waiting I closed the game. Later I reopened it and played one medium puzzle. Again the same ad as before opened and no way to close it.
When I first played the game I was hooked. played several games in a row. Lots of fun and tickled my nerd brain. The next time I opened the app, click on daily challenge and have to watch an ad first. Finish the challenge and click on new game, have to watch another ad before playing that game. That's just greedy. You had a great idea, but the greed ruined it. I understand ads, but before every game after the honeymoon period??? ...deleted
The game itself is fun - for the one game I could play before an unclosable ad and demo for Total Battle opened. there was NO WAY to exit this demo that didn't take me to the Play Store. Killing three Cross math app let me restart, but as soon as I tried to start a new game, it went right back into the Total Battle demo. I then tried the daily puzzle (after killing and restarting), and it let me play that - then went back into Total Battle when I finished. Ads are bad enough when you CAN exit.
I wanted to enjoy this game, as it stimulates the mind. Gameplay is both relaxing and forces me to pay attention - yeah, I like 'rithmetic, I'm weird, okay? Then the ads started. At first it was tolerable, but quickly escalated to having an ad thrown in my face after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. These weren't just simple ads that I could exit (after a timer) and resume play: oh no, I was forced into the app store every time. By the time I returned to the game and started ... stupid character limits
I launched the game - had a pop-up suggesting and event game mode. I thought, sure why not, hit play. An ad played first. I had to watch an ad before even playing my first puzzle. So I finished the first puzzle, got the reward screen with an option to watch an ad for multiplied rewards, opted out and hit continue - and then an ad played before launching even the second ever puzzle. That's pretty ridiculous. Watch an ad OR watch an ad - your choice... the "game" is just an excuse for ads.
So many ads and you are forced to click on half of them and go to Google play. There are ads when you beat a level, then you select a race, start a level and another ad. You dont even get the option to move forward from most of them. The majority of them you HAVE to click on (or exit the game and restart it). super annoying. Id give five stars if not for this.
I enjoy the actual game. It's a simple game that simulated the brain. So what's the problem then? Ads, ads, and more ads. Ads are pushed after almost every puzzle. And not just any ads. These are the super annoying game ads that you have to skip through multiple screens and that use dark patterns to make it really easy to miss the teeny tiny spot to skip. Miss it and you go to the play store app page. The game simply isn't compelling enough to deal with the time and frustrations of the ads.
Heavy ad fatigued, great game. I purchased the ads free version, and ads appear in the same frequency as the free version. An ad appears after every completed puzzle. This happened prior to me purchasing the ad free version. I emailed support, and their response did not attempt to resolve the issue. I requested a refund from Google, and it was approved. This is exemplary of false advertising, not working as described, and poor programming. I'm sure others have experienced this bulls%!t too!
The game is good, runs smooth! Math is a struggle and I wanted to try this game, so I could practice. The amount of ads and the frequency with which they run impacted the experience negatively for me. I don't have time to just sit and play for more than a couple of minutes, so I go in and out of my apps a lot. Every time I exit the app and go back in, it triggers a 30 second unskippable ad. I don't have the time. Shorter ads would help.
It's a fun concept, even if the puzzles are rather easy, even on expert mode. It is, however, quite irritating that every level completion is invariably followed by an ad. I've grown accustomed to force killing the game at that point, and I really wish I didn't have to. I'd rather just pay a flat price for no ads, or have the latter be much less frequent.
novel way to exercise your math skills (and that's good for the brain. Anything that forces you to focus and critically think is good, though it's not a panacea). Edit: I want to revise and say: the ads aren't bad really and there is a skip function after 5 secs, so you never have to sit through an entire ad. It's pretty much as unobtrusive as it can be and better than the majority of free games that don't have a skip function. Appreciate the responsiveness:)
