used this service 18 times with zero problems.. sold my car then bought another and couldn't use it.. nothing has changed on my licence and contacted dvla and nothing seems to be a problem... ive got 5 years no claims zero accidents to my name. they cant give me a valid reason but quick enough to take my money

This is the best app ever, you can drive your friends or in-laws car risk free. It's quick and simple to use and the price is fair compared to other providers. I recommend it to anyone.

really simple, no hassle (we'll perhaps having to go and take a picture of the numberplate on a cold day was bit of a faff). But overall a positive experience. Would definitely use again.

I've used Cuvva for a couple separate days and they are quite reasonably priced. I'm about to go for a month, as I have now completed my car project. For me it's worth it.

Keep getting parsing_validation_error without any explanation as to what it means and no help solving the issue

Very poor pricing transparency. I checked 12 hours’ cover in advance and was quoted £25, and the same again for same-day cover. When I came to actually insure the car at collection, the price jumped to £60 for the exact same policy. No clear warning, no goodwill refund, just excuses after the fact. Convenient app, but not trustworthy.

this was my go to app, even recommended it to loads of people, but now they wont cover because the vehicles over 20 years old.......everyone else do, your loss

This app is easy to use and doesn't take long to setup once setup it's quick and simple no need to re enter any details as already saved from set up. when needing cover just enter the reg of the vehicle and duration of cover then take a quick photo of the front of vehicle then press pay then with in seconds your covered

So helpful. Use this often & have never had any issues. Customer service is good too 🙂

It took a while to get the bugs out of it, mainly because they kept claiming it was my phone, but this is a great App now.

I bought my car in the past days of November and compared to every other insurance companies, Cuvva was the best among the rest as it gave me opportunity to take insurance for 2 weeks and I could drive away my car without waiting any further. It works perfectly even in evening time so that is very useful for us. I shall use this service again to let others drive my car for short term. thank you Cuvva team!

Good service and help from staff

I did a quote online. Followed the instructions to download the app for Android, it then says 'then enter the code' as a next step. The webpage wouldn't move to the next page to provide the code. I also couldn't even find a space to enter a code. The support couldn't help. I asked for my account to be deleted and they said they archive data as per the privacy policy due to me having a quote, a quote I couldn't access. New quote in app more expensive. I feel tricked into providing my data.

I think there's a key option missing from the app. I wanted to see how much to insure me for the upcoming weekend but this isn't possible. You may only get a quote for a full year of cover or you can select a set number of hours / days from the present moment. I can't imagine I'm the only person who had my requirements, and I suspect what I was seeking is hardly unique. Update: Always impressed when a developer reads and responds to my review quickly. It's worth a couple of stars.

They say they cover drivers with an Irish licence. Then, only after you have photoed the back and front so they have all your personal data then they say "we don't cover drivers with an Irish licence" . Why even start the process? Just say UK licences only at the start.
