Incredibly useful app! When I leave a short file open I can compile and run it with one button, so, I can use it to quickly test out or do little things in C, almost like how I use the Python shell for Python. The biggest downside so far is the ads you have to wait a few seconds for every time you return to the code editor from the output screen.
It's a good app. Cxxdroid is a really good compiler imo, you can download your code and organize it all into files and it also all auto saves if you exit out by accident. There's also (usually) little ads to bother you. I also like its formality and structure, it's nice. Theres a whole ton of other cool features like the terminal and other things, so over all it's a great app if you want a nice compiler on the get-go.
Great C/C++ ide/compiler, excellent for coding/testing something quickly on the go! ( Note: space bar sliding navigation does not work on Android 7 but is ok on Android 12 ) However, there is no way to place projects on the external/SD card (i.e. projects occupy space on internal storage). UPDATE: needs to have separate and isolated argv/argc for each program (i.e so each program has its own args separate from other programs).
(⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) Excellent app for learning and practicing C and C++ on mobile. The compiler works fast, code runs smoothly, and the editor is easy to use. Very helpful for students and beginners who don’t have access to a computer all the time. A great mobile IDE for C/C++ programming. I really like this app 😊
The company makes great software, small sass and purchase options. To gain traction however, I would suggest a grace period from ads and a implementing a hardware availability tool, for example, Pydroid3 terminal is confusing, one doesn't know if tpus, hexagon DSP (Qualcomm) accelerators are possible, APIs, suggestions, integrate Termux and make a software ⌨️ that sends USB signals
Great app. Same goes with the Python one. I think the only thing I could ask for is the ability to see line indentations in both apps. It can be hard to tell how many spaces or tabs I am away from the margin and if I'm lined up with the current scope. I'm always getting indentation errors with the python ide. Other than that it's probably the best code editors and compliers on the app store.
This app really good. But there are some bugs in this app. One of the most annoying bugs is if you select multiple lines and then try to delete them, it crashes. Another one is, in some smart phones, if you try to include ncurses, boost or any other libraries, it says, "linker command failed with -l"... It would be really helpful if you take a look at these.
As an IT student, this app really helps me a lot. This app is indeed offline, I can practice coding anytime and anywhere without worrying about annoying ads, and the biggest surprise for me was when I accidentally closed the app and shut down my phone, the code is still there when I opened the app again. I was so nervous at that time as I forgot to save it. Moreover, the user interface is beginner friendly and not confusing. Great app, I even find it easier to code here than in my laptop 😁.
This app is helpful for students but why it takes too long before the ouput shows? I hope it will be fixed. It can be from many code that I don't close but I hope there's a way to fix it.
Heavy things like Raylib can't work and no suggestions like vs code and you can't make folders just 1 folder and all files but this is one of the best app for c/c++ in mobile
this is very gooood compiler for poor guy like me because it can do anything that can a window base compiler can do and also It can compile c language which is one of the best advantage of this compiler, thank you!
The application is perfect I can work well on it but you should put syntax highlighting because if the code is complex it's hard to read
SDL worked well without much trouble. I made a few games. Allegro load bitmap cannot work if it is upgraded to a project, but it will work as a single file. It would have been nice to hear back from the devs about this. You may know C++ well and that a single file won't stop you using multiple separate files for a bigger game. I'm not sure. I expected CMake to find Allegro so that took me a year to find out. The app was great anyway, apart from this.
After all the positive reviews it couldn't even compile and run a simple code the output keep coming out blank
The Allegro plugin doesn't work (it causes a linker error). I haven't checked the other libraries, but if I were you, I'd test them to make sure they still run.
Great app for learning C! Works completely offline and the custom keyboard is very helpful — it saves time by giving quick access to operators and special characters. Perfect for practicing and improving coding skills.✨
A bit buggy - but very rarely. Only major problem is that there are way too many ads, if you are not on Premium.
The app is great, it is very convenient and is very helpfull for me in the process of learning cpp. Although it has a minor flaw, which I'd like to be corrected , when I select and comment several lines of text using the button from the menu, the code which was selected dissapears and some random part of the code is copied on its place commented. But this happens occasionally, not always.
Nice compiler, user-friendly and more... adjusting the key display from scrolling could help.
Overall, this is a very good app. I'm currently learning programming in c++ and this app lets me practice on the way. The only things that I find annoying are, that despite it gives you int main() by default, it doesn't prefill #include and using namespace std. Just a little annoyance. A bigger inconvenience is, that it doesn't color code many elements and doesn't prefill your variables. Minor inconvenience. Otherwise, great app. 7/7
