Free, easily edited and used, doesn't blow my phone up with notifications, explains things, and has links to sources. Good app for an expecting Father. Adding more here, I'm on week 17 with my lady and this app has been a major life saver. It goes toe to toe with the ladies apps, it has week by week information. It has corny little jokes I like, tells me what to expect with her, the baby, and other health tips. I was even able to use it to narrow down a name for the baby. It has checklists too

Once my wife and I were confirmed preggers I went about looking for a "dad-centric" app since apparently, all pregnancy tracking apps require you to be female. I found Daddy Up and was not disappointed! The information provided is not "new", but it is timely. Every Friday I receive a notification letting me know which week in the term we're on, where our baby is at in development, and some general tips on how to make things more pleasant for the spousal unit. What I REALLY like about the app is the log and survival kit. The log is basically a personalized activity feed that I have to fill out. I've been writing each entry as if talking to my incoming child so that I can then convert the feed when I fill out the "baby book". The survival kit comes with a contraction counter, a form for inputting doctor and hospital information, and a packing list for the "Go bag". Again, nothing new, but VERY convenient and themed for dads.

Edit: after reaching out to the developers, I learned that the data is backed up with your login. So everything was there after downloading and logging in on my new phone. It won't be your single source of information, but no app should be. Mixes some fun and info together but I like the journaling, checklists, baby names, and survival mode functions the most.

Enjoyed the app (and the pregnancy)! Especially the lady clues, super cool how it relates to what men are going through while helping them take care of their wives. The quotes/"manly" lines were a bit cheesy but it made it fun for laughs too. I see a lot of other pregnancy apps that continue to track the babies growth and predict what will be changing next through the first year or so. I would enjoy seeing and using that addition(geared towards dads) to this already good app.

Ever since my wife and I found out we were having our baby, I didn't know that there were apps out there for dads to follow the growth of our baby. I went searching and found this app. it taught me so much that I didn't even know, and it made things fun and easy for me, especially with the funny images. it is cry accurate and I love it! and I love how it still follows my daughter's growth even after birth. I told everyone of my friends about it. Thank you very much for being there with my family

I LOVE this app, my wife is 18 weeks pregnant, and it tells me all the information I need to know, but with some ruggish charm. I know it's a big ask, but I would love to see a Mommy Up, because my wife doesn't really have an informative app, with this much charm for free, as a woman. All said, love this app, keep keepin on!

Love this app! Easy to use, straightforward UI. It's well-designed and has a great aesthetic. Lots of great information tailored to the experience of being an expectant father, with practical advice for being prepared and supporting your partner. Used it through the entire pregnancy for our first baby and now I'm excited to be back for Baby #2 :)

Its a great idea and a really cute app. It does a good job of making it feel like an adventure and might lessen anxiety a bit! my only criticism is that the theming / lumberjack metaphor is so strong that it gets in the way of the app's usefulness. It's the size of the hoof of a mountain bull elk! Cute....but i have no idea how big that is. A bit more practical guidance and maybe some developmental progress (eyes forming, fingers, etc) would be nice.

Great app! I've used it since 2017 it's been fun to watch it grow and nice to see after the first 4-5 years the content had finally been updated so with our new babies I'm not reading all the same info and cub sizes. The only issue I have found is under the "☑️" the "show hidden" button is unusable as it is bottom middle, which is exactly under android "Home" buttons. otherwise great job and keep up with the updates.

Absolutely loved this app! I used it to not only track the progress of my cub (you'll get that if you use or have used the app), but I was also able to add Dr info as well as get tips on what my wife may be experiencing during each week of pregnancy. I also used the app to time her contractions and was able to tell the hospital staff the frequency and duration of her contractions when we arrived. Highly recommend this app for daddy with an expecting spouse.

100% recommended. The weekly mom updates are spot-on, almost creepy accurate, which helped me keep ahead of mom's changes. The check lists are well thought out and helped me pack the hospital bag, keep gas in the car, etc., which saved me more than once! The contraction counter is highly useful to know know when to call our doula (we followed 411 rule). And when baby is finally born, you get a nice announcement image with weight, size, etc. to send to friends and family. Thanks for the app!

Fantastic app for me to learn more about the baby growing journey. Could be a bit more technical but that's just a personal preference. Only one issue so far: Week 17 - "massage can induce labour" You recommend that I massage my wife but not in areas that could induce labour but then do not mention those areas. As a practicing massage therapist & health educator I confirm this is a myth. Please look into this more. No need to scare users.

As a first time father, I had no idea what to expect. This app helped so much with understanding what was going on in my partner's body, the baby's development, etc. The checklists and logs are invaluable, and the "Survival Mode" is a godsend.

This app was great leading up to our first child. It's not technical in the least as far as what's happening with your significant other, but instead dulls it down to easy man-language so you have an idea of your surroundings and how you may be of help.

This is a great app to encourage new dads out there to be more involved and in tune with what's going on throughout a pregnancy. I use it for short notes and expect "Survival Mode" will be very important to me sometime in January. One suggestion would be to open up a chat for dads in the same birth range so they can chat with others if they choose to.

App is fine and has no bugs that I'm aware of. However the information given itself is basically useless. Comparing to my wife's pregnancy application, daddy up is a children's book to a novel. Over simplification to the point it's almost demeaning. No real information has been given and even the estimates on the size of the baby are inaccurate. The first paragraph is nonsensical to say the least. I would suggest finding another application. 2 stars because the app works without problems.

Awesome app! Very informative and keeps things organized but also in a more "manly" way. If your a man that knows how to survive in the wild but has no clue about pregnancy and what to expect from both Baby an the (BEAUTIFUL, SWEETEST, RAGING BALL OF HORMONES) AKA Mother To Be. Then this is DEFINITELY for you. I found it useful and how you interact and how things out explained is fun. Which makes you want to use it even more! Great idea and well thought out app. Would recommend to all parents!

This app is hilarious and great! While not super full of technical details, it is a great quick reference for the new father-to-be, and how to interpret what their partner is going through. It even has a logbook for pictures and stories along the way, and a great "go-bag" survival mode button where you can instantly get directions and contact info for the doctor/OBGYN. As well as a checklist on what to do throughout the pregnancy, and a checklist on what to pack for when the big day comes!
