Daff Moon Phase

I'm one of those sailor guys that need redundant information overload before they're happy. While the Nautical Almanac has all this information in tidy rows and columns, it's great to pull this app out of my pocket to help visualize her celestial position, especially during the day when you cannot see her. I don't take the time to rate apps. Ever. But this one absolutely deserves it! Generally speaking, when you get an app like this,The options available are rarely unaccompanied by an incessant string of ads. even then, the free options usually have a boring range of choices that vary from being able to see the planets' projected path, to when the moon will be full again. Thank you! I think I might have to donate to this one, will update after I've had it for a little bit!

Good way to track moon phases and rising and setting times. Really nice widget! Easy to use. Many other great features allowing you to see how all the planets are placed in the sky. Also you can 'time travel' back into the past and forward to the future. No ads. I occasionally donate anonymously using PayPal Thanks for such a great app. It's exactly what I was looking for.

It's free and no ads, it's also very in depth and impressive! It not only shows the moon phase but also if its visible, when it will rise and set, and can also tell you about other planets and stars not just the moon. The only thing I'd say is difficult is navigating the interface, but it's not too difficult to catch onto. I really recommend this app above any other.

Great, has everything, in fact almost TOO much. I basically just wanted an app that shows me moon phases and dates, most of the technical info I don't understand. However, best moon phase app available, esp widgets! One complaint: you have to set notifications for each phase by hand and you can't set a particular clock time for each, only time in relation to the event. They're all different, I don't want a notification at 4 am etc. Fix that and it would be perfect!

This App is Brilliant! Also very useful, you can use it to see the positions of the planets, and the view of the sky, on the day you were born. Or any other day! Gives sunrise and set times, moonrise and set times, every eclipse, solar and lunar, and a lot more as well. Widgets and live wallpapers are also excellent, I'm using the 3d moon phase background currently, it's beautiful!

Love this app, don't know how I found it but I look at it a couple of times a day - learn something every time. Easy to use and since I am low-tech, easy to find my way back if I get lost while exploring. Lived in the desert in '73 and got to see comet Kohoutek. And with no light pollution, it was perfect in the desert sky. So my interest in our solar system grew. This is the perfect app to explore the planets, sun and moon. Thank you!

Hands down the best orrery app in the Play store. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Whether you need the full astronomical details of the solar system and celestial bodies' position within it or you just want to know when the next full moon is, this app can do it. Would love to be able to change the icon style of the widget, but that's it. Otherwise perfection. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Love this app! Easy to use, intuitive, and as scientific as you want it to be. My go-to for all solar system events. I travel a lot, and one setting I wish it had is to truly automatically (i.e., not require me to do anything) set the app to my current location on opening instead of me having to open the Location setting and obtain the location "automatically", which is really just a bunch of steps I have to perform to change the location. Still 5 stars, though!

The single most delightful app I've ever used! I wasn't even looking for something like this, and downloaded it on a whim, and it's turned out to be fascinating, well laid out, often beautiful, and not confusing even though there are various unfamiliar terms and concepts. I've been vaguely curious about astronomy for a while, but this app is going to motivate me to pay more attention.

If you like to be informed, this has copious amounts of information with fabulous graphics. My gripe is that it is difficult to find the lunar phase calendar. I wish it was easily accessible in the bottom tabs where it has moon, sun, sky, orbit, et cetera. It would be an exceptional app if it had easier access to the calendar. Make it more accessible to those of us beyond middle age.

Tons of (what seem to me) eclectic data and information is contained in this app. There's just a ton of stuff. Orbits of planets, Setting times, paths, azimuth of the sun, current distance to the moon, and more. It's crazy how much you can dig into this app. I didn't need to, but I paid the developer $5 once I found how awesome it is. Really really cool. I never give 5 stars.

This app is ridiculously amazing. It has an absurd amount of data in it and a lot of settings most people wouldn't think about. You can see the location of the moon (and the phase), the planets, and the stars in real time. It tells you the rise, set, zodiac, altitude, and orbits of the sun and has a 3d sphere that you can move around to see the positioning of everything from a ground perspective. Whoever made this obviously put a lot of time and effort into it and it shows.

Fascinating content! The app shows the moon phases by description and picture and how they progress night after night. It's cool to see the planets in their current orbits - thank you for including Pluto! I also like that you can see the sunset and sunrise times, although the zodiac signs are off by at least two weeks, which is no big deal for the sun time (I can look that up), but I thought it was cool to also know when the moon is in my zodiac sign, so I don't think I can trust that now.

This seems to work better than some other moon sign apps - not such a memory hog, no noticable system hijacks, no ads, etc. All I wanted was a quick & simple way to find lunar signs. Tks! (A few days later I realized I was checking this thing almost daily for moon phases, but sometimes using it for planetary positions, etc). Anyway, they sent me an an ad to buy a "better" version for $9.99. The free version sufficed my needs, but, damn it to Google hell, I had the money so I paid. 500 chara

Accurate, precise, enjoyable. The interface is simple to understand and beautiful at the same time. If you or someone you know loves to look up into the vast beyond of our sky, whether day or night, for just fun, a hobby, or for more serious applications. This app does it, while maintaining the live and constant status of the nearby celestial bodies.

Great tool for keeping track of the phases of the moon. I do remote healing sessions and work with the energy of the moon. This is a great tool to have in hand to coordinate that! There are also other features I love that helps me learn more about the sun, planets, orbit, etc! You can customize and narrow down what you want to see too. Highly recommend! ❤

Works great. All I was really needing was a calendar and timetable of moon phases and it does that quite nicely, in an easy to read format. I don't know enough about planetary motion and the relationship to the moon or constellations to review that except to say that the information looks to be clearly presented. (edited for typos)

I love this app. It's been my favorite for tracking moon phases and corresponding zodiac energy for years. Super easy to use and the widgets are very pleasant to have on my home screen so I can keep track of the skies. I only wish there was a constellation app or feature, I would even pay for it at this point :)

I like tracking the movement of the Moon and learning it's different names and forms. I plan to contribute to the app as it is free to use and is rather splendid. Contributing is optional and not pushy. If there are ads I've managed to ignore them as I haven't noticed any. But I expect this is how the admin pays for the app.
