Dailymotion Video App

Subtitles are blocked by comments that can't be dismissed or moved, even though videos dont fill the whole screen. Seeking is only done by dragging the tracker, very difficult and inaccurate. The search function in app only looks at titles, not subject matter, and does not send you to the video you select. I have to use Google and be redirected to the app. There are too many ads, way more than any of my other free streaming services. I would also love to be able to change the playback speed.

love the app, but the ads are wild. you skip to just have to the same ad over and over, and no matter how many times you watch them through they keep popping up, and they never skip. then it restarts the videos, then to go back to where you were you're forced into a never ending loop of ads again. they really should consider a paid version for ad free. or fix the bugs.

I started using it because I didn't have money for subscriptions on other apps to see a couple shows. First, you have to do individual searches for specific season & ep to find it. Finding listing of a season is almost impossible. Some users videos are all muted/no sound. I cannot save any content for my profile, so it's totally egghead/generic profile. Have to be willing to navigate imperfect issues. Other than that, I do get to watch some shows and movies for free.

This app used to be great, but once the ads started at the beginning of the movie, creators just started putting a popular title on any movie, so you click and watch an advertisement or 2, but then it is not the movie. There will be like 12 movies, with all the same title, but not the actual movie. they are just scamming, for ad revenue. you have to watch the first ads to know it is the wrong movie, creator getting paid, us getting nothing but aggravation.

I really like this app. The only thing I dislike is the amount of ads. I get you need the ads but when I'm watching something and there are ads every 5-10 minutes so whatever you watch takes forever to watch. And it's not just like one ad it's multiple ads every 5 or 10 minutes. I wouldn't mind if like you could do something like 20- 30 minutes but not constantly. It gets so annoying. Also sometimes those ads mess up and I have to get out of the app or even the website just to fix it. Annoying

The ads have became insufferable, you can't skip any even when you do, more comes along, I get like having an add play every 20- 30 minutes, but back to back? how is that fair. I watch anything now without being bombarded with ads. Yes you need money but find a better way to do it! the skip button is terrible! From 5 to a solid 3 until this feature is fixed.

honestly, I really liked it at first. i had no problems with it at all. the adds i can/could over look and I even recommend it to other people but, a few months pass of me using the app and now I can barely find an actual video that doesn't say "video unavailable" or it gives me the option to play the video and then gives me an add just to go back to the blank screen with the play option. im so disappointed and will be uninstalling if it proceeds.

this app is totally free. u can watch short reels without paying a cent. but recently with the latest update, ads are totally losing it. the ads keeps on playing while playing the reels at the same time. hoping that this issue will be taken cared of. hope that ads just comes out once and not repeatedly. for like 6times. thank u daily motion. highly recommended.

The movies now start over half way through so you dont get to see the end. a lot of the movies have a bright light in the middle making it impossible to watch the movie! some movies have the creators stamp bouncing all around, again hard to watch! This app used to be great! it's a shame! It was my go to for everything! I used to recommend it, unfortunately not anymore! I really did enjoy it, but like all great apps they try and improve but just ruin the when experience! so sad!! 😔😔😭

Since this new app update, NOTHING that you search for will actually play. Every time you click one of the links for a searched video it pops up a black screen that says, "Something went wrong", a long with a [Try Again] button that doesn't change the result, it still won't play the video. So the app is essentially completely useless. Before that it was pretty much five stars, not many intrusive ads and the videos played extremely well! Now, it's ZERO stars!!

I got rid of all the paid apps and watch all the movies from them on here! Sometimes it takes some digging to find one that doesn't have any noise or stuff like that but I do think this one is great for being free! plus it also has reels like TikTok and Instagram does when I need that intermission in between movies lol thanks for this app, love it!

great idea, great place to go for videos. but the app is far to buggy. at least for me it is. videos constantly running through the ads. ads double or triple playing. on the website you get 2-3 ads, but with the mobile app I'm getting 7+ with a lot of them restarting or switching halfway through so they don't count. recommended watching on the website, not in the mobile app. even if some videos are upside down, still better than the app. or even go on YouTube and deal with low quality.

I was really enjoying the app at first. I didn't mind the ads at all. Then every time I would try to watch a movie whenever there was an ad, the entire movie would just freeze. The ad would just play through and not go away. The only way to fix it would be to exit the movie and go back in. You would have to fast-forward it to where you left off and sometimes it would play fine until the next ad and sometimes it would just immediately do it again. This issue makes it really hard to enjoy the app.

The app is ok. I can pause or play use my Bluetooth for all other platforms like Hulu, Netflix, Tubi, etc.... I can't do that with this App. Also, when I used Dailymotion online I was able to double tap the screen to rewind or fastforward. You can't do that on the app. You have to drag your finger on the screen to that. Lastly, after a commercial has played the app freezes for a minute or longer.

I love this app !!! I had several different apps to watch videos but now I only have this app. I love the fact that you can search up any title and most of the time you get the video you want, sometimes you get several different versions of the video but they're mostly full length stories. With the other apps you can only watch so many pieces of the story per day, unless you pay for coins to unlock the other pieces. But with this app you can watch the whole story, no unlocking each piece.

My Goodness, what happened to you guys? I used to be able to stream hours of podcasts, movies, etc., but for the past 2 months, it's been one issue after another, can't watch offline, keeps crashing, and stops in the middle of a show, stating that "oops, something went wrong on our end" bla bla bla.. I'm done giving you a chance.. Done

I had to watch a 7 minute ad which I couldn't skip on my tv in order to watch a show. Sure it was annoying when ads became a thing on this app and I understand that ads are on everything these days, but a 7 minute ad. I've never heard of such a thing! What a compete waste of time. Update: We just had to watch a 9 minute ad. This app is horrible. Please just get rid of the long ads. I don't mind the 30 second to 1 minute ads, the long ones are just insane. A 45 minute show, now takes almost 2 hr

Videos don't play at all, it is a better alternative than youtube but not if the videos don't play, I have even tried deleting and re-download, no good. Please fix this. The app is still terrible, it freezes if you pause and play the video or just skips a whole video and takes you to another one, dailymotion needs an overhaul, period.

TOO MANY ADS. Literally every 3 minutes there's ads. Constantly. And they show the same ad twice in a row 75% of the time. Sometimes there's an ad that completely breaks and it freezes on the ad so you have to completely close and restart the app... and then have to watch ads again on the video you just watched ads on. It's unbearable. The only thing I use it for is to watch king of the hill because it has all the episodes on it for free, but even then it's not worth it.
