I'm from Australia, so far so good for me, no issues making payment in Jakarta during my visit last month. However, when i went to Alfamart to top-up my account, the my mobile number is not recognised. my only option is through my card. one other thing is the notification sound, it sounds like when you press one particular key for too long on Windows. its loud and alarming, and always give me a shock. is there any way to change it, i've disabled all notification from the app.
The system is always busy, and I can’t even log in when I actually need it. I’ve been trying over and over again just to make one simple payment, and it keeps saying ‘system busy, try again later.’ Like, how much later? Hours? Days? I literally missed a Steam discount because of this mess. What’s the point of calling it a digital wallet if I can’t even access my own money when I need it most? Fix your servers, DANA this is beyond frustrating.
Useless customer service. They will not reply to your email. And when you call them to their premium number they will tell you to wait for a reply in your email. My account is locked for 5 days because I need to reset my pin. Customer service told me to wait for 3 days and still no answer. Called them back just to be ghosted by their tech team. Edit: I followed the Dev Response and finally got a reply to wait for 7 days. Incompetent much?
Useless for Malaysians – Do Not Install!. You can top up your wallet, but your money will be stuck. To transfer or pay for Indonesian services, you need 'Premium' status, but that feature has been stuck on 'Coming Soon' for over a year. Customer support ignores all reports. A complete trap for international users.
Anytime I go overseas into another country, and I try to open the Dana app to check my saldo/money, it just won't open and constantly kicks me out of the app. even if I go back to Indonesia, the problem still persists and the only solution is to uninstall and install it back, please fix this problem!!
status update: my balance has returned. but the "on going transaction" tap menu in the front page still exist, your transaction removal/reversal is not clean enough. i tried to contact your bot, but the transaction history for the problematic qris tap is not visible. please check.
It's really anoyying that you become a dana premium user to do everything, including transfering to other Dana users unlike the other app, and the verification takes a long time even most of the time it kept saying "failed to verify". App works slow even on my new phone.
Was going to use it for a transaction with an indonesian artist, but the app doesn't let me top up with a credit card from NuBank. I don't have an international debit card so this app is useless right now to me. Also, wasted the R$5 Tax to add my credit card for nothing.

I used to love this app, but now I ABSOLUTELY DON'T!!! I always lose my money when I top up or make a transaction that comes from Dana! I have filed a report, but Dana has not responded to me at all! I have told many of my friends that this application is very bad, and many of my friends have also experienced the same thing, YOU SUCCEED DANA!
This digital payment system is terrible. Storing money here is very risky because it can easily be misused by others, and the admin is not responsible. I lost a lot of money on this app.
bad service for foreigners asking for 100 different kind of documents by Dana help center after uploading all documents still making excuses if you can verify foreigners accounts then say it it's still fine what's not fine is wasting other time. thank you
send to e-wallet, your session expired, have done log out and log in again, uninstall and reinstall the application.. still the same thing.. please provide a workaround.. i need to send my dana to other e-wallet...
i bought an internet data package with a total of 11 GB that last for 7 days, but after i completed the payment and checked the internet package on the other app, it only says the internet data only last for 3 days?

Very disappointing. I intended to report and request a solution for a transaction I did not make to customer service, but after a month there has been no solution. Let alone a solution—there hasn’t even been any processing. I have emailed repeatedly and sent messages via Instagram and X DMs, but the response has been extremely slow.
the worst app ever. I made a transaction with QRIS, my balance decreased but the merchant kept pending so the transaction was really hampered, I really regret using this application, CS didn't do anything, I've reported it for days, but there's been no definite response. It's disappointing that I've spent a lot of money and it's gone who knows where. Please take responsibility. really bad

The app is confusing and not user intuitive. It incorrectly set my username and now I can't change it without upgrading to Premium. I tried contacting Diana but the service was also unhelpful. Every time I do try to upgrade to Premium, an error screen shows up saying that the 'Feature is Coming Soon - stay tuned!'. Also splitting a bill with friends was difficult yesterday as the QR forces them to also download the Dana app before being able to send money.
There is no customer service that can be contacted. Have top up issue after update the app. Will delete the app soon.
