DaVinci - AI Image Generator

I feel like a sucker. I paid for the app, but was never able to log in. After submitting a request for help to support, James emailed me to suggest 'restoring the purchase', that didn't work. Then he said they were going to try to figure it out, but I never heard anything back from him. I let THREE payment go through and have continued to email support. Now they're ghosting me. I just have to cancel the subscription and cut my losses. Such a shame.

Wasted my money. Too many bugs. Screen closes out often and you have to start over. Try adding pictures. It wants to walk you through steps 1-4, but you can not click from page 1 to 2. Impossible. Tried everything. Even restarted. And the AI part where you describe what you want, it isnt accurate. You can be super descriptive, and it will still be wildy off. For example, after probably 100 attempts to male a gorilla holding a paint brush, it just could not make a simple paint brush.

Potentially amazing!... but hardly works! B🪲U🐞G🪲G🐞Y × 10 This app looks great, but has too many bugs to mention. If you can make it through the process without getting a blank, half-loaded, or frozen screen, then you're lucky. When it does work though it's very cool! I've tried the process 10-15 times but only got to the end result 3 times. It needs to be fixed before I'd pay for it. Hopefully, I'll get more out of this 3 day "free trial" before it ends🤞.

First time I used this, yes, latest version, it was clunky. There's a lot of options, but a lot of blank images are generated as well. I did not pay for it, and now I can't as it will no longer load. Much like the images, it goes to black screen. Feels like I could not try it out properly. Adverts, confusing main menu, blank images and now not loading at all.

This app is sketchy at best. First off, it is an obvious bait and switch as you can not test the "free" option without entering all of your financial info. I subscribed and immediately found that the "upload photo" function, allowing you to work with an existing photo, is nowhere to be found. You can upload a photo, but it immediately dissappears, and there are no options to recover or work with the photo. The AI generated images are mediocre at best, and it takes much prompting.

I'm glad I only use the free version. The images are created were just horrible, nothing looked even semi right. I've used other AI image generators before, I just don't like how other ones won't let you say specific celebrity names. So this one does, but it makes them look all derpy. My first one I made with many specific prompts, trying to get an exact photo. I guess I aimed way too high. The next few I did were very basic, and it wasn't even close.

It wasn't what I was looking for. I tried to cancel well within the trial period. I have emailed every email I can find even Google directly multiple times. I never get any response and they are still taking out money weekly! Definitely feel Davinci is sketchy. I've been charged $7.49/week the whole time I've been trying to cancel, probably almost 2 months. Buyer beware. Seems it's meant to be extremely difficult to cancel whole they take your money. Is there even a customer service???

After my trial experience I went ahead and purchased a year subscription. Although it's not the best app what I've been able to create is beautiful art. The app has many flaws though, I hope in the future they'll be a way to add to your prompt instead of your prompt vanishing. I would like to be a way to save our creations. And I just notice that the support email address is invalid. That sucks. It has some promise though, but I hope they get their act together.

After paying for the mobile, I went to the desktop version and found that the platforms don't communicate with each other. When I asked to switch my plan to the desktop version, customer service never replied, even though initially they responded in good timing. Now that I paid for a year subscription for mobile, my images don't load, and the feedback is so minimalistic & vague that I don't know what answers they can truly get from it. I wouldn't recommend this ai app. There are better options.

It used to be ok, I would get it just mess around with or to help visualize an idea I had for something. Generating 3 imagines used to only take maybe a minute or 2 but now when I'm trying it, for one, if you're not paying for the subscription it's never going to load, and when I got it for the free trial, it still took maybe 10 minutes of loading and nothing happened. Definitely trying to scam you out of your money now.

Don't expect to do much if you don't pay. Even if your creation fails you get to watch an ad before they even tell you. Awful. Greedy. Don't even bother replying to this with "sorry you found our app troublesome" don't even wanna hear it. I don't even mind paying for a good app, but if I can't even test the features out without being stopped after 4 tries with "wait 24 hours to watch our pathetic ads" then I'm not on board. Do better.

Almost everything about this app is exceptional. However, as someone else previously mentioned. I paid for the lifetime subscription. When purchasing, it literally states unlimited creations. This is a false advertisement. You are capped at 50 per day. You are literally forcing me off the app for 24 hours, this is why 3 stars. That's ridiculous. Additionally, the lack of being able to change profile pictures and also the inability to recall past creations or prompt usage.

You have to pay twice to use the features. First it repeatedly prompts you to sign up for either yearly or weekly payments. That allows you to create art only. All the other features are in the ai store that can only be used for another yearly or weekly charge. I bought the first, thinking I'd be able to use the whole app. Now I regret my purchase. Looks like a cool app, but for me, not worth the money. They should make all these required purchases known.

The art, as far as i could tell, was fine. What's not fine, however, is asking me to rate before i can even try it. Asking me to purchase a pack before even trying. Haveing 15 offers and begging for money with a 90% discount BEFORE I CAN EVEN TRY THE DANG APP! It's ridiculous. Stop begging and at least give us 3 minutes to try the app and see if we want to waste money before bombarding us with stupid ads and offers.

I'm going to be nice and say that I didn't exactly enjoy the app; the free version was a constant bombardment of ads for pictures that were sometimes not that great, the pay wall kept popping up in my face and it's very pushy and intrusive, it's basically telling me the app isn't worth paying real money for. I tried complex prompts and the image didn't read the prompts to their fullest; it doesn't do humanoids very well, and it doesn't seem to read their descriptions well either.

The AI model is poor, not paying attention to half of your prompt leaving you with half of what you asked for in the product. I paid for a lifetime subscription for $30 and when i went to try another portion of the app, it is locked and asking for another $30. Seeing how poorly the first service worked, i dont see any reason to pay for another. After trying a few prompts, i really regret paying the full amount. The trial would have been enough to see that I won't be using this app at all.

In The ad it says you type in what you want it to create using keywords, that's not the case. You choose 2 different themes and it mashes it together. It's slow, not at all what it claims to be in the ad, and mentioning ads. You have to watch an ad just before every single image you try to view. If you want better faster results you then have to pay $5 a week so bout $20 a month or the option of $30 a year. If you get $5 remember to unsubscribe when not in use. I'd rate this app a -5* if I could

Figured I would try it out on the 3 day trial and if I liked it, keep the subscription. Could not get it to generate anything close to what I was looking for. So I cancelled the sub. Then while checking my bank account found out I was charged already. Also it charges another $4.99 if you want an avatar, which didn't even work for me. Very disappointed in this app. Requested refunds.

I like this app but not a fan of it's limitations. 1st you are baited with buying a membership that can be cancelled within in 3 days. Buyer beware, once you pay there is no refund after cancellation. 2nd you have a daily image limit. As a content creator I can't really use a service that limits me to 6 images a day especially if I am paying for it. That being said the images are beautiful, the app is easy to use and will be happy with the results. It's just not something I am happy with.

Despite PURCHASING the app, I'm limited to the number of images I can generate daily. In addition, the app makes you purchase each separate function (image generator vs avatar generator), which is misleading and borderline preditory sales tactics. It also produces lack-luster results. I wouldn't buy it again, or recommend it to anyone.
