The app always crashes the cutting machine most the time just rips my paper up so I think I spent more time and money and got nothing out of it. the machines are really expensive! And all I see on here is oh we're sorry about your experience blah blah blah then why don't you fix it. cuz I'm pretty mad that this was supposed to be a fun thing to do and turned into an expensive aggravating experience.

I bought the Cricut Joy Xtra. I was able to go through the setup on my phone and cut out the cricut logo. However, when I go to calibrate the machine for print and cut, I load my mat in as prompted, and every time, the screen says "To start calibration tap Go." But there is no "Go" button to tap on the screen. it's all just a white screen with text, so I have been unable to calibrate it. Then the app decides the machine is not connected to Bluetooth even though my phone says it's connected.

Bluetooth keep disconecting, right after connecting to it. Just bought maker 4 and downloaded your app. Started setup and it Bluetooth is disconnecting right after is connecting. i tried all you help tips and nothing. brand new cricut with a horrible app which is not connecting to the machine. Im not far from the machine, internet is super fast, nothing is interfering with the machine. How to fix this Bluetooth issue????Need an update... Why you didn't fix this problem? really disappointed.

Not even one good thing to say. Absolutely horrible, bought years ago, worked fine though not very user friendly even when maker 3 was new. I attempted and failed at using it last year, figured it was due to trying to use my phone. Today, machine wont connect again. forgot, restarted, re paired. cant get it to connect to my phone. PC app keeps freezing my brand new laptop, crashing and wont let me save anything. Majorly regret not choosing a different platform. huge waste of time and funds.

Cannot save any project! "Save" is greyed out, "save as" ALWAYS gives the error "something went wrong". Customer service only told me to uninstall but I've done that multiple times and it doesn't work and my phone and app are completely updated. Using S25 Ultra. This is extremely frustrating. I see your response but as I put in the post, save as doesn't work either

Although I do have a laptop, I mostly use my cricut from my phone (for both editing & cutting). The new layout, has become extremely difficult to use, basic things are no longer doable, and projects are now taking way too long to accomplish because I find myself constantly toggling between menus. Very annoying. Was in the works for the maker 4 but I think it's time to try a new brand.

Horrible app + machine combo. I cannot tell you how many times in my first week of owning my cricut joy extra that I have had to restart my machine and/or the app and/or my computer. The machine randomly throws codes and the app tells me to restart it, even though I did not move away from the machine for it to lose connection. When there's a firmware update, code. Can you just unplug it and restart the app? Nope. Restart your whole computer. There has got to be a better way. Who designed this.

The worst app ever. This app is fine as long as you don't really want to make anything. If all you want to do is look at everything you can't make it's great. Every once in awhile you might actually be able to connect to your Cricut but can guarantee if get connected, the cricut will stop cutting at 55%. This machine has caused me so much stress. No, it doesn't work any better on a computer through usb. This is the biggest joke of an app ever.

Cricut you make enough off us already GET IT TOGETHER! How can you expect us to pay for an app that consistently doesn't work, it lags, has connection issues, you'd think by 2025 you would not only have a working app, but would offer more services to customers with your machines. Huge disappointment as always.01.09.26 NEW update has a bug won't let me connect to machine even though it's connected through BT

Missing buttons for delete, group, duplicate. To get on and have to update just for it to completely eliminate my options to work from the app on my phone and tablet is absurd. The update on my computer at least still has these options. Since I have to do things while on the go, the phone and tablet are my preferred choice. I have done the selecting, and nothing pops up on screen for these items either. At this point, I'm wondering if it's worth my time and money to keep buying cricut items.

Wow what happened after the update? I am missing some things like delete, duplicate, and group which usually is on the top side of the screen on the right side. but since the update I no longer have those features you're supposed to update for the better, not the worst. By the way, this is on my Windows computer. I have not checked my Android tablet or phone.

I have no idea what happened. This was a great app that I've used for years. The last update took it from that to being absolutely useless. Won't connect to my machine to print from my phone, and even on my iPad, the app freezes up as soon as I try to cut something. Literally, the only thing the app is useful for and it doesn't work. Unbelievable. Now, I get to be behind on projects!

new: they updated again. now I can't use my direct connect for my printer with my cricut because it wants to be connected continuously on WiFi. every update screws me a little further. i already purchased my circuit, I shouldn't have to keep buying to use it. old review: There are some features that aren't available, but still pretty convenient to be able to use my phone to design stuff while I'm out. I can always save it and make fixes on my laptop later.

I just purchased a Explore 3 thinking this would eliminate most of the connection issues I had using my Joy Extra as you can only use Bluetooth with that machine. I set up the Explore 3 after a hassle to have it do the test cut perfectly and the computer says it's all set to go. I never turned it off or disconnected anything and started a new job and at the point of cutting, it just keeps saying to set up my machine and I can't do anything.Again hundreds of dollars wasted. Get it together Cricut

I used to love the app but now I can't use it on my Chromebook. (Or my kindle, which I always knew, but hated.) Now I'm going to have to buy a laptop or Android tablet just to be able to use the design space app, which is ridiculous. Ive been suffering using it on my Google pixel, which is difficult and tiny, even then I don't get all the options. Not a happy camper... lots of money spent to just use it.

I had to cancel my subscription THREE TIMES after the free trial, and now that the app and website all say my subscription has been canceled, they STILL charged me $100 last night. Absolutely ridiculous, and I would've NEVER bought a Cricut machine if I knew they were going to try to steal my money on top of the costs of their machine and equipment.

I used to prefer the mobile app to the desktop version, but not anymore. The UI is the opposite of inuitive, and the menus coming down from the top literally make it impossible to move text around once it's there because the menu blocks the text entirely. Everything feels cluttered and difficult to work with, and the constant push to join the subscription is super annoying. Why do I need to say no each time I use the app and sometimes just when going to a new page in it?

I love the app, and use it nearly everyday. I'd have given it 5 stars; however, the latest update appears to reflect a corporate decision to prioritize the optional subscription service and make it less of an option. I briefly let my subscription lapse and noticed many features which used to be free are no longer free to use, which is a disappointment. One of the things about Cricut I always loved was the ability to use the equipment and software without paying for a subscription.

Recent updates are awful. The new layout of the design studio is terrible. My machine is plugged into my computer so I don't have to fool with Wi-Fi, but for whatever reason, now it says it can't connect. I have to keep clicking "Try Again" to get it to work. I wish I hadn't prepaid for the annual subscription. Using my machine is now a chore and aggravating & the trash can is starting to look like a good storage place for it.

I'd say cricut is fine for non-graphic artists who want to make simple stickers on water bottles or cards. For a graphic designer, cricut is a nightmare. Sizes are not translated properly. Anything that has to do with specific dimensions is not easy to print and cut. Images and layers get pushed around, especially if it's anything complex, even if "flattened". I bought this at BJs because I always wanted a CNC machine. Figured this would be a cheaper learning alternative until I get one. -NOT
