Dicey Elementalist

Fun and easy to get the hang of. I payed to unlock all the characters and I find that it is totally worth it because you get those characters permanently. Lately however, the ads all take me to the play store more than once. So an ad that I would've been able to skip in 30 sec turns into about a minute of back and forth etc. This is very annoying and sometimes closes the app altogether. I also haven't been able to watch the 3 ads for currency in over a week. Please fix this, I love this game!!

I'm thoroughly enjoying the game and I was happy with the ads, until recently. I just won a hard fought battle, my score was displayed, then an ad started playing - totally normal. After closing the ad, the game returned me to before my fight; treating me as though I hadn't fought the boss at all! I'm still upset over it and don't think I can continue playing. Despite this, I do recognize this game is exceptional, so I recommend that people give it a try!

The ads are horrendous. Every single ad will try to redirect you to its page. No matter what, and every single time the app will reload entirely and not acknowledge that you watched an ad. Plus forced ad breaks that are the same and a constant banner ad at the bottom. It tried to advertise its premium after its daily ad gift pushed me out and denied me my reward, which just felt disrespectful. I would have considered paying the money for the other characters before too because the game is good.

UPDATE Games ads constantly crash now, wouldn't bother me but there's only 5 per run if you actually need 2 or 3 after a couple crashes you're down the amount you can spend on a run effectively ruining it, unhappy. Very awesome game good time waster and has a storyline which was surprising to me and my goodness this art style 😍😍 love it <3 cannot wait to see where it goes, ads are optional and there's no real malus in skipping them thus far... great job devs keep up the stellar work! :)

I like this game a lot. I've purchased all the characters and done hundreds of runs. However the latest update has brought with it some of the worst ads I've ever seen. The full-screen ads that either take a full minute to play out or require you to tap 3 times to close them were not in the game before. On top of that, while playing I have more than once been interrupted by a SCAM AMAZON WEBSITE trying to steal information. Absolutely unacceptable and a detriment to an otherwise fun game.

Additional update: developer has attempted to resolve the issue according to the latest release. Unfortunately, it looks like my cloud game is permanently gone. I'd be happy to just get the unlocks I paid for back. Game is enjoyable, I'd play it again. Somehow, all of my progress and unlocks are gone with the latest updates. Trying to pull my data from the cloud just freezes the game. Very disappointing to have spent money and no longer have access to items I purchased.

Would give it five, but today when I loaded the game, all I see are ads or chances to watch ads for bonuses. I've already bought the extra characters with real money, why am I getting so many ads? Seems like a strong money grab. "The Greedy" is an apt name for one of the characters. The sad part is, gameplay is amazing. It just gets drowned in ads. While they're optional, it takes away from the experience.

I'm really enjoying this game so far. Not a horrendous amount of ads (thank you so much), but also does give some incentive to watch a couple. Though it also has a cap on how many you can watch a day, which I appreciate. Gameplay is fun and engaging, and the different characters you can play as are unique to their own. Tons of trinkets you pick up along the way reset each play through, so it's never the same game twice. Plenty of challenge and luck, I've spent hours with it, no regrets.

I'm glad I downloaded this game. it's been very enjoyable to play. My only gripe is the issue with the fairy wheel, where you can't load an ad to get another spin. Also the problem with the daily reward that kicks you out of the ad occasionally so you don't get the reward, and the issue with growth bundle. Says I own it and I can't purchase it. I keep getting a refund from Google every time I try.

It's an absolute gem of a strategy card game! Endlessly replayable and tons of fun. I have every single character and have every single boost, upgrade, etc. and can still find it challenging. The only thing I wish there was is just more, and you already offer so much. Please think about adding more characters, events, anything - I love this game! It is easily one of the best I've ever played and I've tried out nearly everything SCG on mobile; if you don't play this one, you're missing out!!!

Great game that unlocks more depth and functions as you progress. Free to start, but have to pay for new characters, ad free, increased rewards,etc. Everything thats out minus the packs of items you get from playing naturally can be purchased for less than $15 and the free character and 1 unlockable character still have plenty of depth to keep you occupied. Ads arent intrusive (being banners or vids that play to give you rewards). Lots of dice mini games too.

A really fun addictive card strategy game! It's clear the devs had love for this game, with a number of unique characters all with specialized cards and goals. It's been a great experience slowly discovering all the hidden objectives and techniques the game has to offer! I do wish the ads were less intrusive (lasting many minutes, stacked on eachother, auto-opening okay store), but fortunately they don't directly interrupt gameplay.

It's fine. Pros: Cool art, not many ads, lots of hours to log for a free game. Cons: It's Dicey Dungeons but worse. If you like the idea, but want a game that's more charming, memorable, and fair, go check that out on your choice of system. Dicey Elementalist has more toys but feels busted. Status effects badly borrowed from Dicey Dungeons are useless halfway through bc of power creep, and dice rolls are genuinely skewed away from the elements you utilize. I'd say more, but word count. 3/5 game.

I've spent over 40 hours playing this game. One "game" is quite long, up to an hour, but you can pause and come back to where you were at any time. It's surprisingly difficult at times. I enjoy that gems are easily obtained through play are used to give you personalized upgrades to the game. In my opinion this one of the best mobile games designed with the player in mind not just to make a buck.

I have about 20 hours in the game. I cannot recommend enough. I have enough dungeon crawling/roguelite experience under my belt to recommend this game to anyone who enjoys this type of genre!! The recent updated added basically twice as much content. For a free game, you can't beat it! I also do not mind the microtransations, if you like the game enough you'd spend the dollar for a new character after you finish the free ones!

I gave the game another shot and upped to two stars. The game is fun. That's why it doesn't get one star. But they still have obnoxiously long ads and force an ad for their $35 upgrade every time you open the game even if you buy other premium parts of the game. No, devs, I'm not interested in paying for the same thing twice. I gave money to support you, but I regret it after getting this pop up every time I open the game. Be better. You don't need to be predatory with a good, solid game.

Cannot recommend this game enough. Gameplay is quick, fun, and not easy. It's not the hardest thing you'll play, but the difficulty scales well from the easiest to hardest difficulties. You have to buy extra characters with money if you want to play someone besides the 2 they give you, but those two are fun enough. I went ahead and bought most of the characters, and each one is unique and incredibly fun to use. Devs don't force you to watch ads ever. You have the option to. Just a great game!

I think this is a really fun rougelite with a lot of potential, my main gripe with the game is the performance and the balancing. I tend to crash a lot and theres considerable slowdown, I feel that there is a lot of enemies that deal to much damage, especially the bosses, since you have no way of knowing what final boss youll be facing there isn't really a way to stratigize around it with your deck/relics and depending on your deck some bosses feel impossible.

I love this game and I feel like there's more than enough wonderful free content and not too many ads. That said, I would love to see a bundle on unlocking the newer characters cuz I wanna play ALL of them!! I've gotten so much enjoyment out of this game with only the $2 I've spent unlocking the Chanter, the creaters have definitely earned more. Please can we get a character bundle?

I don't want to be too negative, but this mainly feels copied, if you're looking for a dice game that's good and a solid 5* I reccomend dicey dungeons, granted not on mobile, but it's still the go to. If you're wondering why I call it copied, mainly it's due to sound effects being taken from other games like hearthstone, and not really providing anything too new. Go play dicey dungeons, it's exactly what you're looking for if remotely interested in this game.
