Dime Community Bank Mobile

Seems to work better than previous versions, however, when the balance on the account changes, it always takes too long to reflect on the app. If it takes a few days for a check to clear, I understand it taking that long to show up on the account. But cash deposits shouldn't take several days. And the same thing happens with withdrawals. Needs to be improved on, not helpful with keeping track of finances. It also takes the bank FOREVER to process a direct deposit. I have to wait 4-5 days for it.

App has a basic interface, which is acceptable, but works very slowly. Also Dime does not have a contract with Plaid, which is very inconvenient these days, because you just can't link your Dime bank account instantly to other financial inatitutions, instead you have to wait several business days to receive mini deposits to verify them and then link. PLEASE, TAKE AN ACTION ON THIS MATTER!

Horrible APP! When I go to deposit a check using my phone. The numerical keyboard that comes up does not have a decimal point. I called customer service, and they said it is probably something wrong with your phone. It is not my phone it is a glitch in the program of the app. The old app worked fine. I was able to deposit all my checks. I am leaving the Dime Bank. I will open up an account elsewhere. The customer service was just as bad as the app. Zero stars!!

Right now its pretty Ok. had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work (after speaking to a rep, as the app didnt say anything other than update app!). I like that it gives me instant access to my acct and balances and allows me to make deposits (don't like the limit amt), transfers and payments. I don't like that it often redirects me to the online site for some aspects. 3.7*

I'm giving it 2 stars because I frequently do transfers with external accounts and you can't on the app. I don't like the look of the app nor the site, it feels like a fishing expedition every time I sign on, no matter how many time I use it. It's not user friendly, app and site.

Pretty simple intuitive app. Not too fancy. It's very annoying when you mess up on your password and they shut the whole thing down and make you call them to unlock it. I wish they would have a better system of helping you get your lost password and not lock the account. Other than that it's pretty solid!

Nice design, but the app barely works. Today I tried to sign a few times and kept being returned to the login page. I signed in to my Dime account from my computer with no problem. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, same issue. Also, I registered my device to log in using my fingerprint and it never worked.

EXTREMELY relieved to see this kind of upgrade to the app. Haven't tried mobile deposits yet but so far I am so impressed with this. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO THE USERS AND MAKING THE MUCH NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS. EDIT: The mobile deposits always have issues. Requires multiple attempts and once never actually went through and the check was denied but accepted by the bank with no problems.

Since they updated the app, I am no longer able to log in. I know that I am typing the username and password correctly. I keep on getting an error message. I have no issue when signing in through the website.

Downloaded,setup in 5 minutes. Browsed thru the easy to use site. Offers most everything you want in one easy to use and pleasant to look at site. Good support but not 24/7 support. One point lost for lack of support 24/. This is 2021 24/7 world and other similar businesses do offer thus important to me feature. Great service business hours.

App was not allowing check deposit. Would not take pictures. Would not start camera app at all. After upgrading the app I get a message pop up that it does not allow debugging, and I cannot dismiss it, so cannot use the app at all. Samsung S22+.

I downloaded this solely to deposit checks, and the function doesn't even work. I can take a photo in perfect lighting with perfect quality and it will fail to capture it over and over.

Updated and BETTER. Faster and more pleasing to the eye. Whatever the new app did, they did a great at job. Before it took forever to load and switch to any anythig I pressed. Very happy with the new look as well.

Can't even log in, it locks you out of your account after 1 to 2 tries. I am using fingerprint but it says wrong password?? Glitchy app. Used to be able to log in but now it won't let you but the same info works when on computer. Now I can't mobile deposit checks. Site doesn't work either

This app is pretty basic. Cant see anything past 30 days.. Im not expecting a fab app. Its a damn bank. Currently the deposit camera is having issues focusing. Nbd but hella AnNoying. Update: deposit camera is still not focusing well!

Worst app ever Don't bother getting it and forget about making deposits . Worst bank to you call they don't call you back there are bugs in their software . Barely works properly money takes forever to deposit and clear .

Worst app among banks, I use capital one Santander and chase. Check deposit takes work, the bank itself stops too mransactions it thinks is fraud even $20 at home depot. They want you to use debit vs credit. Can't trust dimes on vacation or holidays they stop many transactions sadly I've been a member since 1992

Worst app in the banking history! It has a mind of it's own! someone would be able to deposit a check almost never. Every time it will come up with an issue and say it was a failure. developers need to fix the issue ASAP!

App is better than before. Biometrics works well. Would still like the app to automatically take check deposit picture. Otherwise, very easy-to-use.

Always sign in problems. Locks you out quickly and only a phone call with a Rep will get you back in. It's not an easy or pleasant experience.
