Discount Tire

This app has promise, but in its current state, for me, it is unusable. I try to add a vehicle, but I saw one of my cars has been added twice for some reason, and I can't delete it to add another car. I have a lot of cars and have been taking them to Discount Tire for several years. After my negative experience with this app I think I may switch to a competitor that makes my shopping experience via their app better for me.

Just horrible to use. It's confusing and doesn't work. I was trying to add my military discount. It goes to the Military ID website. After it verifies it just goes around and around. I waited 10 minutes and it did nothing. I eventually just called and got my order that way. And by the way, their website is just as bad.

This app is very limited, not user-friendly, requires me to log in every time without the ability to save my password or use biometrics, and doesn't import my vehicles. It feels like an application from the 1990s...Come on, Discount Tire - it's time to upgrade, it's the mid-2020s!! Do you want to lose customers to your competition over your poor app interface????

This app is not user friendly... jump through a bunch of hoops to not give me what I'm looking for... Here's a hint, there's not a tire button to click on... then while entering vehicle information, the keyboard pops up to block the choice every time there's a choice to be made in the drop down , it's covered up.... there's more nonsense, but I'll digress...

The app stops responding at a certain spot. If you go to shop, select your vehicle, select shop recommended tires, and it freezes on the screen to select location. Also, why does the back button send you all the way back to the beginning of the home screen? This is just frustrating and makes you not want to use the app. It's bad enough that tire prices are outrageous right now, but to also have to fight the app just makes you give up.

This app is fairly useless for personal use. It actually provides LESS functionality than the website, and it redirects you back to the website for nearly everything anyway. I was able to add/delete vehicles, and that was about it. I think this app was designed just to be able to push sale notifications to your phone.

Might as well use the mobile browser option. The Discount Tire app is completely useless. It can't even keep you logged in, can use your saved info from your "signed" in account, which disappears after navigating the app. Can't show your location in the app. Provides no useful features that make it worth downloading.

Not very good app. Better off using the website. It doesn't sync with any of your info from the website like appointments or stored vehicles. Maybe good just to make an appointment, but there's no option to add or select stored vehicles. Very limited.

Had the app installed for a matter of minutes and it's getting deleted. User interface is frustrating, it's quirky and buggy, can't use the vehicle visualizer to see how wheels look because the drop down menus to enter my vehicle info are completely non responsive when I try to tap on them. This was on a Galaxy S24.

The app is difficult to navigate through. It's absolutely stuck on showing you what oem parts fits your vehicle. I don't want oem wheels. I don't want oem tires. And don't click the back button from where you're at. It takes you all the way back. The letters and numbers are all jumbled up. Too many things to click on once you select a wheel. Options for this options for that. I have ptsd and it's hard to make decisions. Deleting for sure.

Looking for tires is an excellent way to do it, but trying to make a payment on your Discount Tire credit card, its the worst, every time I try to make a payment, reads "This service is currently unavailable " I dont understand ,just trying to make a payment. Their automated system sucks, gives you you wrong information, takes forever to talk to someone.

Absolutely the most difficult app to shop with ever. It will make you verify your vehicle dozens of times as you attempt to search new tires. It bumps you out, the splash page cannot be closed without closing the app, junk. If DT wasn't as good of a company as they are, I would shop elsewhere. I might anyway because I am so frustrated. TR, by comparison, great.

Getting ready to buy my tires from Discount Tire. So why don't I have the Discount Tire app. Makes sense right? So I download it. Before reading the reviews. Probably not a good idea why would a company like Discount Tire which provides a good service not invest in a good app. From the get-go a reading of 3.4 are you kidding me bu I wanted to try the app so I start with setting up an account. I enter phone number and I get " improper format" bad companies use bad software. Maybe I should look

Never ending eternal loop. I can never get anything done. The system as I try to make an appointment makes me start all over and logs me out without any questions. Once I select my car it takes me to the next screen and then it tells me to continue without car. Does not let me choose any appointments or anything even though I'm logged in it kicks me out and makes me start all over without any warning.

I don't know about you but if your like me waiting 20 to 30 seconds for the app to respond each and everytime gets rather annoying quickly. They have a good selection of tires and don't bother you with all that upselling nonsense but my goodness the app could be faster.

Great app and great company. I've had an instrument panel light indicating a tire pressure issue. I've used a different local company for years, and they never mentioned this light. Discount Tire told me immediately it was a bad sensor. I haven't repaired it yet, but I definitely will, and I truly appreciate Discount Tires knowledge and professionalism!

Always my go to tire shop, every location I've encountered awesome service reasonable even when then when manufacturer would not honor rebate because of it being 2 days pastwo days past the cut off mark even I was sent discount to discount did the right thing and paid the difference of what I would have received. This app is wonderful It's just like the website I definitely recommend this if you need tires or to manage your account

The app is pretty limited. I downloaded it hoping that I could schedule a repair appointment but it doesn't have that feature. The store locator is a good feature but I can just use the Google assistant to do the same thing. Along with scheduling appointments it would be great if the app could send a notification when you car is ready. This would also make the job of the store staff a lot easier.

Completely miserable app! Does not update/refresh without signing out and cleaning memory. Then times out during scheduling and payment. Love the company, 20+yrs as a customer. Hate the app, and will likely take my business elsewhere, as they only want you to schedule through the app.

Glorified browser. Doesn't let you manage account or appointments EDIT: App has improved quite a bit and you can make and manage appointments now. As a walk in without an appointment, I cannot seem to track the service through the app. If that gets fixed it'll be 5 stars.
