I gotta say it, you're 101% WAY better than Serato and I couldn't be happier at this moment! BUT, there's 2 issues/suggestions I'd like to throw out to Algoriddim right HERE and now. One big fix I'd like to see in my playlists are the filenames of my personal audio files, some do but majorly you read the article within them and display that only, and there's no option to switch to filenames only. Also Neural Mix won't work on most Android phones. Add these fixes, PLEASE! Thanks.
It's an awesome app. I'd rate it 5 stars if you add more features on here like on other devices like isolation tools, extra deck tools, more music options. Options that are on tablets, IPhone, etc. I want a good Djing experience, with all the tools I'd need to make a good performance. I mean with the price to pay for the subscription, it would make up for actually buying real equipment. If you could please make that happen, I'll definitely consider rating 5 star for sure. Thank You.
If you're coming from an iPhone, don't bother. This version of djay is a husk of how it used to perform on the iPhone. Frequent crashes and failures to retrieve music from your library are pretty bad. You'll find that you don't have access to changing the key of any song on the screen where you change speed. And my final gripe is that as of July 1st, you will no longer have access to your Spotify account through the app.
Love it, just almost perfect. After a while when I tap on the search icon to type in a song I'm looking for, it doesn't prompt my keyboard to pop up so I can type in the song I want. So I end up having manually scroll all the down my entire song library alphabetically to mix in the song I want. I usually close out the app and reboot it so the search icon will prompt my keyboard to pop up again. If this bug could be fixed, that would be greatly appreciated since I bought the app already. Thanks!
This app is very cool, but there's a couple flaws. That main one that's getting me, is that it keeps crashing when I try to record my mix. I get a good amount of time & then boom, wasted. I bought the subscription today just so I can record this mix, & have spent hours trying it again & again. If this isn't going to get fixed very soon, I'd like a refund.
Great DJ app, it would be 5 stars if the sound performance and stability were better. The app frequently crashes in use after 20-30 mins and music "skips" and jutters when using the autoplay feature with the app running in the background. This destroys your phones ability to multitask (check messages, look at a set list) when trying to music select for a small party or get together. I'm on a pixel 7 pro.
Man I won't use nothin else. Only this app. And I done tried em all! It let's you record listen offline. I only wish there was a way you could change the pitch without having to change the speed. And maybe some fresher sound effects but other then that it's super simple haven't had a problem finding a song yet. And it let's me add music from my library
It's difficult to listen to one song at a time anymore. Sorting in the music playlists by BPM and Key would be an easy feature to have. It's necessary for mobile devices even more than mixing on a desktop. The portrait mode waveform view of the two tracks in the Serato style is also a great way to do it on a mobile device. If the app could automatically handle some of the frequency changes in the EQ when mixing between two songs that would make it a killer app. Subscriptions suck...
Great when it works... I use this with a DDJ-200 on both my phone and tablet. Some days it's worked flawlessly and other times it crashes several times during my sessions. Definitely not good for production but when you're just hanging out with a friend having some drinks it's fine. Sometimes the controller just drops out, sometimes it crashes, it's very irritating at this point. I mainly like it when I want to be able to search up on SoundCloud without already having it in a playlist.
I was only going to take a look at the app and enjoy the 7 day trial, I'm 4 months deep and not a day goes by without spending countless hours mixing, beatmatching, finding new and old genres... I AM OBSESSED.

Enjoyable app, good for learning how to mix for beginners, but my files never save correctly when switching phones, also shouldn't be anything to charge for on a dj app. edit could you please make this app work for android when using a DJ controller,it would really be appreciated guys. Just bought numark party mix & it won't connect to it via app.If you did this so many more people would upgrade&pay for DJAY Pro, I know I would. hope this feedback reaches you warmly as I think this app is great
A great app is a real shame the MacBook version is still for unprofessional use only on old 10.1 Macbook pro Catalina. After years of trying it crashed on me again the other day at work. Not using again. Spotify integrated was why i gave the MacBook version another go. Pity this app can't use Spotify as well. This phone version works very well. Ok on a new Macbook. Apple influence?
confusing UI: logged into Spotify but couldn't figure out how to add a song. It just kept playing in the web browser. I assumed it would just let me pick a song and play it within the app. Pushes for a subscription every time you open it.
I've been supporting this app since the beginning and it is crazy that they would charge just to record. I don't understand why this app used to be so good. And now everything is a cash grab, to literally change something that was once free to now having to pay for it. After supporting this app in company for so long
its a pretty basic layout. you have a few effects, eqs and faders. I think it analyzes tracks super well. Its very easy to connect to streaming apps and you can load up songs fast. My main complaint would be the lack of cue points. maybe I need to figure it out more idk

I've been a D. J. for quite a while. Approximately 30 years. I'm (still) attempting to learn all the new technology associated with my craft, however; this app may be the lifesaving factor in whether or not I "retire" from something I love so much; or continue. I'm 61 years old, and that "Learning curve" thing that I've heard about my whole life is NOT A MYTH! The new technology available to D. J. s today is incredible, but this app has made the difference. It's powerful; yet intuitive.
well the app is great and I would have loved to rate it a hundred stars, just that am experiencing a tiny little of a problem and it's frustrating, the app keeps stopping each time am mixing tracks,I thought maybe my Redmi A5 is out of date but it wasn't, please fix this if please 🥹
The Android version needs a lot of work; it's missing many options like AU Sound and has other bugs, and Automix needs work similar to the iOS version.
The reason im giving this app a 5 star is because, it is linked with Spotify. That makes me to play my selected Playlist from Spotify. Thank you for that and appreciate alot ..
I have been supporting this app since the start however in recent times I have nothing but issues with different devices different accounts are seem to always be curious in the same issues some sort of a back door handle control of the app because within 20 minutes of using it get shut down and the other thing is that you and mixes it gets distorted I've tried numerous times to make contact with no reply
