helps me save money, which we all need. You need to physically add any offered coupons to your app each week to receive the deals, and they are always taken off once i enter my accounts phone number. That doesn't always happen on other apps. Just make sure to read the details. In the ad. On the shelf tags. On the coupons. But that is advice for all stores, really. There is fine print everywhere. I do recommend this app, if that makes any difference. Happy days forever! ♡

what an Excellent app!!! Very impressive!! I add items to my list and does it ever help!! Discounts galore!! I like the live ads when you first go on it!! And of course, I think the world of the cashiers!! Very friendly (and silly sometimes, which brightens my day!!), and always have an answer to any questions you might have!!! I'm short and some things I can't reach. They're right there in a minute to get it down for me!! Thanks girls!!! 👍👍👍👍

Good app. We have 3 dollar generals within 8 miles (that's close for our neck of the woods) and I regularly look to see which one has everything that we need so I can do it all in one stop. We utilize the coupons weekly but wish there was a way to save all the coupons with one click rather then having to click each and every one. I choose to save them all so that I don't have to study every thing that I'm buying to see if it matches up to any of them. So 400 clicks later...

This is a great app. It allows user to scan bar codes and tells price and any sales/ coupons on the item scanned. I was able to see that the price on the majority of items I wanted was between $.25-1.00 higher than the labeled price on the shelf. Upon further investigation, I found this to be the case through the store. The two stores that I went to in Missouri had the shelf tags lower than the scanned price on 80-90% of the store. While I love this app, DG won't be getting my business again.

I haven't been able to log into the app for weeks now! It is so frustrating! I can login on the desktop site but when it comes to logging in on the app it brings up the same error message every time saying that there has been some kind of issue and try again later. I go to the Dollar General religiously and I love to coupon. The app has gone through so many makeovers the last few years and I'll tell ya, the way it was set up about 5 years ago was more functional than it is now!

This app is horrible. There are so many bugs! You can't search for a product without it saying "System Error. Please contact customer service" with the phone number. What is customer service supposed to do about the app? I thought the point of the app was for convenience. In every single DG I've been into, I can never get cell phone service in order to look at my coupons to begin with, and that feels intentional. It's ridiculous at this point. Do better!

Are you kidding me just tried to reinstall the app., due to agent told me delete account, the wait 2 days tgen reinstall. I've been trying since last week. Just tried again right now and the app will not open. no This app is all over the place . You can not find the digital coupons for items, so you can not get the item or items. What a ripoff. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled. Still some coupons will not be there. I have contacted customer care, and still no help.

100% the worst out of all of the shopping and delivery apps. I don't have access to public transportation or a vehicle so I mostly only get deliveries. The shoppers and staff are fine, the app feels unfinished and rushed. it has the least amount of options out of all the delivery apps. The offer of free delivery for the first order does not make up for the terrible design. Do yourself a favor and door dash it, it's what the app uses anyways as I found out from the poor staff trying to help me.

I don't know what was done to the app, but good gracious. I was kicked out of the app a while ago. It wouldn't let me sign back in and said my password was incorrect, even though I could sign in to the website with the same information. I reset my password and now I can't move past accepting the terms and conditions. I have opened both links and scrolled to the bottom and waited before closing them and hitting accept again and it just cycles right back.

App is a bit slow. if you "clip" too many coupons, checkout in store is REALLY slow (like minutes), so don't spend your sick day clipping every coupon in the app 🤪. Never experienced that at a store before! Notifications aren't in different categories, so you have to either take all the notifications or none of them, which is too bad, I'd like some of them... But overall a really good app.

I created an account TWICE with 2 different emails and it keeps telling me "something has gone wrong, try again." I keep trying and it keeps saying both are invalid ID and Password and now has locked both of my accounts. I tried to continue as a guest and of course it will not let me use the coupons that way. It keeps prompting me to sign in if I want to use the coupons. Such a waste of space! I tried to reinstall it, still didn't work. Trash app, don't waste your time with it.

a decent shoppers app. when it works. I use it for the coupons only, since a system update the cart calculator doesn't work, and I always have an issue with the app opening as it should. always same error, "sorry please try again later" unfortunately this is the only store in my town, (pop 1080) next store is 10 miles out. I wish there was a way to ask for a upgraded store to a market store. They already took clothes, books, movies, and some toys away.

I tried making an account but after downloading the app and giving ALL my information in order to make an account at the very end where I read and AGREE to the terms and conditions, I get a pop up saying " Sorry, something unexpected has happened. Please try again " Well, I tried again. And again. AND AGAIN. (6 TIMES!) I tried clearing the cache. reinstalled app. Made sure my settings were not blocking anything. STILL does not allow me to make an account! SO, I guess I will shop somewhere else

The app could be useful, but lately it's malfunctioning more than ever. It closes without being prompted, forcing a sign out of the account. Only to give an "error" message, and require several attempts to log in before it's finally accepted. Just to close & sign me out again. That's IF the store wifi is even working. Very few products attach it's designated coupon anyway. All of the new changes DG's made has been at the expense of their customer. Leaving us to search for better deals elsewhere.

The app is great. It would be nice if the opportunity to actually use the app wasn't almost always down at the store! I can't tell you how many times I've walked into the Dollar General and had to look at the cash register first to see if there's a sign that says "Ability to use Digital Coupons down." It makes a person pretty angry when they do their shopping thinking they're going to be getting good deals and then they get to the register and the coupons are not available.

App consistently applies coupons that cannot be stacked at the actual register. This makes the estimator fairly useless. There is no ability to remove a coupon so that you can choose which deal you want to apply once you are at the register. Once clipped (or auto clipped) you better hope that's what you want. App often logs account out and forces you to login again. Now saying account locked. Cannot scan short barcodes.

this app is an inconvenience because we should not have to use it at all because Dollar General should just lower the price for everyone without having to get on a device that you don't need to be distracted by to get a dollar or two off . this Factor plus when the employees are unable to use the app and help you get you nowhere. what they advertise on the shelf does not show up in the app or vice versa. unable to combine certain coupons with other coupons and or certain deals. much more

Wow this app sucks. when logging in don't make a mistake with your password, at first wrong attempt I got a message saying you account is locked for 20 minutes for security purposes. I'm getting ready to walk into the store, I don't have 20 minutes to wait. I'll just get back in my car and go to Wal-Mart where I don't have to use an app with coupons to get prices lowered in order to be comparable to other stores.

The issues I've had the last several weeks as well as the terrible customer service when contacted about the app issues prevents me from leaving any kind of good review. My app stopped showing in store digital coupons or rebates. It just shows zero with a message that says there are no deals available. When looking at the ad I realized that this was not the case and for whatever reason they were not showing up in my app. customer service ask me a question then never responded to my answer.

I appreciate DG in my neighborhood. This location has groceries, produce, and meats. it is so easy to pop in and pick up what you need on a moments notice without fighting the parking lot and store crowds. I use the DG app to save on coupons and deals as well as make a list! I don't miss on specials or coupons either as I receive notifications too!
