Some upgrade tiers are locked behind premium in game currency (gems) which is incredibly obnoxious and greedy. To make matters worse gems aren't easily obtained without spending money. You can watch ads but they aren't always available. Also, maybe I missed it but the game mechanics aren't explained very well or at all. Like the distance based rewards. I'm guessing you have to buy a pass to get those but they never really explain that. Or what keys are for.
Free to observe the first few levels,. It's a fun game. At least it looks like fun. I don't have $10 i want to allocate to the devs simply to turn off a couple game-killing limitations because they were placed arbitrarily to grab my cash. No. . Please see Fastlane: Road to Revenge for examples of how to do f2p with incentives to purchase while leaving an entirely level playing field. Uninst.. ed
It's okay, but very much geared to make you watch ads and pay to beat levels. EDIT: I originally gave this game 3 stars because it's a fun feedback loop, but I had to drop it to 1 due to the indestructible barriers, then the game stole 20 gems from me and wouldn't let me continue. The avalanche is always right behind you no matter how far ahead of it you should actually be. It's a fun game, but the devs are way too greedy.

Really fun game! There are traps that have to watch out for and know what weapon to use to get past the obstacle. Really great game for passing time! Would left 5 stars if the game didn't glitch to make some weapons unusable. I had a sweet load out and now I can't use my shotgun weapon. I wasted money on this game. Would be nice if the devs would respond to other people's issues but have not seen a single response to anyone's complaints in the reviews.
Man these guys are batting a thousand when it comes to creating bugs in this game. Fixed last issue of machine gun not being able to be used, before that wouldn't save any new progress, now it's not paying out how much it flat out tells you you've earned based on your level. Usually get a few hundred thousand minimum altogether, but now when my level reward is 132,000(approx) I got 50,000 as my payout. You guys suck at fixing your bugs, but you seem to be great at creating them.
As many have stated, a lot of the mechanics in this game are flat out stupid. The "landslide" is always right behind you regardless of how fast you go. There's a seemingly invulnerable rock at one point in the third zone that no season can destroy, and I literally bounce off of it despite having zero issue with any other stone. Game tries is best to make you pay to win. Even with all 5 weapon slots, it isn't enough. I regret spending a single dime on this POS game. Developers are unresponsive.
My least favorite ZeptoLab game I've played. Way more ads and in app purchases compared to some of my favorites published by the company, and overall just too simple of a gameplay loop for my liking. I'm pretty sure I played the game a while back under a different publisher and it has since been bought by ZeptoLab (I may be mistaken). It also has some odd quirks like the "boulder pass" with a logo that is literally just a vectorized photo of the Fortnite Battle Pass.
This game is fun. Pretty simple gameplay, bit enjoyable at its core. However, the game unfortunately makes use of one of the most annoying mobile game mechanics of all time. An energy system. Limiting the amount I can play doesn't make me want to buy keys, it makes me want to uninstall the game. On top of that, the time between when you receive more keys seems to only work when the app is open. This system is outdated and generally anti-consumer.
It's really fun to drive the boulder. But there are a lot of upgrades only achievable by spending money. There are a lot of ad watches if you want to progress. My biggest complaint though is the speed of the avalanche coming behind you. No matter how fast you go through the level, it catches up to you at the "bosses" without fail. If I am able to speed through Chilly Start at a speed I've never gotten before, the avalanche should not catch up to me at the same point regardless of upgrades. Fix
Pretty fun game. I enjoyed the gameplay, the upgrades and the ability to get cool stuff from watching ads. However, (1) Some of the ads were extremely long, over 2 minutes!!! And (2), you had to watch ads even when you didn't want to watch them! Made no sense to give people the choice to watch ads or not, and still give them ads when they don't want it lol. Terrible practice, uninstalled. Fun while it lasted, which was about an hour or so until I beat the first level.
Fun game and cool concept. BUT there are some issues. 1. The landslide is VERY annoying and catches up no matter how fast or efficient you are. It provides an unfair disadvantage. Maybe some of those red lines ingame could be checkpoints players can retry at. 2. Weapon slots. They shouldn't have to be purchased to use, especially at the difficulty the game is at already. I bought both slots because it seemed impossible without them. Just seems like a cash grab. Apart from these, amazing game.
Very fun... until you reach the point where you cant make it any further without paying real money to get the upgrades. And these upgrades aren't even a reasonable price if you look at the other prices they're asking for everything else. I haven't even found an option to unlock everything in one purchase, although if they did this game would likely be $20... horribly disappointed
A few problems that I've ran into with this game are pretty annoying. For starters, you don't earn the amount of coins and gems that are labeled on each of the levels. Secondly, you have to pay real cash for the extra weapon slots. Third, the prices for the upgrades can be outrageous. Fourth, "Endless Fields" could use some change of scenery, maybe "Endless Portal" to the different types of endless levels. Lastly, Endless Fields doesn't give you the coins/gems you earned after a while of playing

I loved the game up until the end. For some reason, the infinite hills portion is absolutely broken, you can't earn any coins, not even in the way of like "Oh its hard to earn coins", like you legit can't, every game 0 coins. I've deleted and reinstalled, restarted my phone, the result is the same, zero coins, meaning you can't upgrade your boulder or weapons, meaning you can't make any progression. Until this is fixed, 0/10, when it's fixed I'll give a better score.
Fun game concept. Quickly becomes impossible to get further, like within 2 days of playing on occasion. Inundated with ads that give you only a small benefit at best to watch. There are paywalls set up in the game. Want the 4th weapon slot, pay ~$5. Want to upgrade weapon to legendary, pay ~$2. Would've preferred this been included for free through play pass or just charged $5 for the entirety of the game since the concept is simple.
Had fun at first. But then it became a grueling task to even progress. Had this game for about a week and couldn't get past the first level. Seems you HAVE to spend cash or just get super lucky. Avalanche catches up way to fast no matter how fast you are. It's right behind you the second a boss or a piece of rock stops you in your path. I max upgraded several things and had all my stuff at lvl 20. Still getting stopped by the simplist rocks.
The worst part of the game is that it's one of those games where you can only play it so many times until you've used all your turns and you have to wait for them to refill. Only for me, my turns never refilled. I was at 0/7 with 11 minutes until I had another go at the game and it stayed at 11m every single time I'd log back onto the game. Hoped this could be a fun game, but waiting that long just to go down a hill is absurd.
EDIT: They have added a lot of ways to watch ads, but that's about it. Uninstalled. Fun, but gets boring quick. Needs a lot of refinement. Once you've beat all the levels it is impossible to get enough gold to do high end upgrades without spending money or literal hours each day grinding the exact same thing over and over. There is a "weekly" challenge, but it doesn't appear to actually end. No idea what they were going for there.
Gets boring pretty quick after getting to the endless level, which takes a few days. After that gathering coins and upgrading takes forever, and the grind isn't really worth it. The endless level is setup in a way that you end up getting stuck randomly or flung backwards causing a failure. Not really worth the time honestly, there are better games.
The game is fun, the ads are definitely not intrusive like most games these days. My one complaint is that the game can be pretty unfair at times, the biggest offender being the ogre things throughout the levels. They can randomly decide to kick you, and when they do you will always be killed by the storm. There's no pattern to the kicking and it gets really frustrating. The storm is also always behind you, no matter how far ahead you think you are it's always gonna be a set distance behind you.
