It's extremely fun, especially because of how easy it is. It's like Candy Crush, Pokémon, and Dragon Ball all fussed. Sometimes, I don't understand how to get or beat some levels, but this game is EXTREMELY rewarding even if you don't play for a while or know what your doing, and I really love that. It's not pay to win. Instead, it's just play and have fun. Great art, aswome animation, great cutscene, etc. The developers really put their love into this game 10/10
Very cool game. Wish there was more story quests and have better pull rates for single summons/World Tournament banners, but it's fun to play here and there. Edit: Well I've been on and off for years and I have to say, every time I'm on feels like fun. Grinding and playing events out are great, and my cards are nothing short of badass. Free to play all the way, enjoyed every second, even now. Yeah y'all just keep doing what you're doing!
Giving a 3.5 for now. Had played before and was quite fun, but my account didn't synch after signing in with Google play when it asked, you have to separately do that after the fact and after making a whole account. Figured it out, but highly complicated for newcomers, just being real. Plenty of characters, team links, and currencies that are farmable, just be ready for a lot of reading or you'll miss very important features sometimes clicking through tutorial. There's a lot, but take your time
Best DB game. (edit) The stages have gotten incredibly difficult but I guess that's what you want to have ppl buy/spend money for the newest characters. I still love the game but it gets frustrating playing the newer stages. Sometimes I wish they would shake up the characters. Also the meta shifts everytime a new character drop. Sometimes it washes out the previous released characters. Idk maybe its just me but I had more fun a few years ago. Since the 10 anniversary I took a break.
It's very addictive. It could use trading units with people on the friends lists so you don't have to get rid of good units that could be useful to those that don't have them yet or need another doop. it could use more rank levels, maybe add a prestige system so you can keep on increasing your stamina so you can play longer and the game doesn't start getting stale to older players who have reached rank 999.
It is very fun, but the only way to get the best units is to summon. The issue is that, while you get plenty summoning stones early on, they dry up quickly once you catch up to new content. Power creep is constantly happening with new units and new content. Combine this with the truly abysmal drop rate for the characters you actually want, and the game often becomes very difficult to play any newer content. If you are gonna pay to summon, just know pricing is very predatory.
Its a fun game. I play when I have time, but I really only get to play in the evenings, after the daily reset. So, when I open it up to play, it talls me it's doing an update and I can't login. Then I lose my consecutive day streak because I really only have ten or 15 minutes to jump in and collect my stuff and play a level or two. This is very inconvenient as it's happened to me more than a few times.
I've been playing this game for a couple of years now and it's easily one of the best gacha games on Android. Everything is well made, drops are fair(in my opinion) the characters are amazing along with story that normally comes with each. the levels are challenging and keeps you coming back to play them again. Best of all you dont need to spend tons of money as long as you put in the time then you can get all the dragonstones you need from play alone:)
I've had this game for several years, YEARS! I absolutely love this game. I picked it up shortly after it's released and have been playing since. Personally I really enjoy all the art and special cut scenes for each characters individual abilities. They were really cheesey early game. However, they've done quite well getting it up to DB cheese factor. I've paid multiple times for in game content. Unfortunately, it has gotten more expensive. I get inflation, but not over due prices. DL it n enjoy
This is a really fun game. Good graphics, lots of characters, and easy to play. Overall, getting a strong team isnt too hard since the opportunities to get high quality characters are plentiful, and summon rates of top characters on banners is pretty good. Earning enough stones through regular gameplay isnt too difficult if you have the patience to save and wait for a characters summon banner you want to roll around. Awesome game!!!
Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle is a game I have a very mixed opinon on. The game itself is fun, and there's certainly not a lack of content. However, the game can be a bit repetitive at times, as the gameplay itself not super in depth. The animations in game are beautiful, especially with newer, or updated cards, and there are plenty of opportunities to get Dragon Stones to preform summons on the various banners. This game is certainly not for everyone, but it can be fun if you give it a chance.
I've been paying Dokkan Battle since the 3rd Anniversary on Glabal. The game has changed a lot over the years, most of the changes were quality of life improvments. The Free 2 Play units are almost as good as the "Pay 2 Play"*(depending on type of event/difficulty). The Art and Animation has been amazing. The voice overs are the actual voices from DragonBall(both English and Japanese, IDK about other languages Haven't checked) lots of discounts and bonuses for the in game purchases.
Honestly, it's one of the best games that I have been playing since I began watching DB. I love the animation style, fighting strategies, and overall accuracy. Although it starts out simple, the complexity due to synergies is what really sells this game. Above that collecting characters has been a blast, and im excited to see what lies ahead!
I reccomend this game to all Dragon ball fans and people who are interested in the franchise itself. You receive gifts, power ups, and dragon stones constantly; which is extremely helpful, especially if you're trying to level up and unlock characters. And the events, side quests, and Z battles keep you hooked on to this game. It's great if you're trying to kill time, this is one of my favorite mobile games!
I love this game and I've been playing it for a few years. However, recently I realized something annoying; dragon stones don't transfer when you switch devices. I lost 400+ stones and since I don't spend money on the game, that was a huge bummer. I even stopped playing for a few months afterward... Other than that the game has so much content and more is always being added. You can choose to be F2P or P2P, and it is a great distraction when bored, waiting for an appt., at the pharmacy, etc.
This game is really fun. I've been playing this game for 3+ years now and the content just keeps evolving into something better. The best part is definitely summoning for new units, although sometimes you may not get what you want. When I 1st started I was strictly free to play, but when they have sales on stones I can't really resist, they do offer good deals. You can still have a good experience if you dont want to spend any money, you just have to save stones. Overall, excellent game!
This game is amazing. It has improved so much over time. It's honestly very free to play friendly. You can literally beat 90% of the game with free to play units. It gives out a good amount of stones for free during big celebrations, you can have a very good looking box if you spend your stones wisely. What gets me the most are card arts and super attack animations. The game is just beautiful. The game is meant to be played and chill while you are at it. There's no pvp aspects to this game at all
You dont need to invest a dollar in this game and it's amazing. It's a long term investment or alot play to proceed type of game (If you play enough you're fine, plan to spend 2-6 months things if you're not active ). People get angry over multi summon rates but you honestly don't want the game to b easier. The rates suck but that's because you shouldn't have access to a character very easily.
Honestly the slow points between updates kinda hurt, but overall, this is by far the best app I could ask for, to not only waste time on, but also to enjoy Dragonball whenever, where ever. The community is a positive, helpful one where we work together to overcome the challenges the game delivers, and even though this is a gacha game, f2p players still have lots of opportunities for free dragon stones, as well as strong free units. Highly recommend.
This game is fun, but it's rough on new players. Among the two official Dragon Ball gacha games available, I love this game because you can just pick it up and play it at your own pace and not have to worry about connection issues messing up a run. Gameplay is simple. You select a ki-orb in the right row, and the game will try to match as many orbs as it can in a row of the same color. When you meet certain conditions, an animation special to the unit you collected ki for. Character limit ;(
