I really like this game but it has too many ads no matter what you're doing ads just pops up. Also, I notice I keep getting malware pop up on my phone whenever I'm playing this game. I don’t get them for any other game on my phone. Don't know if there are bugs on this game but I appreciate you looking into this issue, if you don't I will be forced to remove from my phone. I would like to give this a 5 star rating but because all the advertising and malware pop up its annoying.

I can't buy mining tools with gems. There is a 99:99 over both buttons, so the only option left is to buy one pick at a time by watching an ad. Your reply doesn't explain whether 99:99 is an error or not. Ads to pick up an item, certain places trigger ads, also random ads in the middle of battle, ads to revive... it's too many. No doubt I'll get the deliberately misunderstanding "But we need ads to survive" message, or "You can pay for ad free." You know what else is ad free? Uninstalling.

Great game but TOO MANY ADS! There are soo many that pops up randomly that even in the middle of a battle you get an ad and sometimes the game doesn't pause causing you to die and have to watch another ad to revive yourself. The game didn't even need pop up ads because some of the items take soo long to produce that anyone who hates waiting for 20min or an hour would spam it. It went from a relaxing game to obnoxious to the point of pulling my hair out.

This could be a GREAT game, BUT the endless stream of ads cuts 3 stars from this review (probably should be 4). I understand the need for ads, but these are relentless. I've spent more time waiting for ads than actual game play time. Great game, but I'm finding it unplayable at this point. Guess you are trying to find where the line is before people bail out and cut their losses. Too bad I've wasted as much time as I have. Turn off wifi and cell data and it becomes more playable.

Predatory, unchallenging, slow, disappointing. It'll cost you at least $25-50 a month to see no ads, which are constant unless you pay the $8 soft premium. But ads are still everywhere there if you don't want to move at a snail's pace or pay for timed/subscription based speed boosts. Worse than that, even if you pay for no ads, each time you start the game it tells you to move your character. As soon as you do, 3 $25 pop ups come up with the purchase button right where your thumb is. Scummy.

After the game asks you to rate it, ads run literally every 2-3 minutes. That would be okay for a free game with actual game play (not just walking from one end of the island to the other repeatedly), but there's a constant banner ad and "$7.99 for no forced ads!" "watch an ad to get this item!". Just an obvious cash grab. dont bother.

If you tend to play games too long, this one will cure you by popping up so many ads that last more than a minute, that you'll close the app in frustration and disgust. It's a great game that was playable when I'd get ads ranging from 6 or 15 sec to an occasional 30sec, but when the counter says 68 I have no problem closing it and doing something else. Self-defeating if they want us to stay and keep playing! (To be clear, it's unreasonably LONG ads I object to, not ads in general.)

If you love ads, this is the game for you! There are forced ads (start short but get longer and more frequent), banner ads, ads all over the map disguised as cute animals and items, ads on every resource node, ads blocking movement speed and inventory space -- it's just a wonderfully ad-rich experience. You're never at risk of getting immersed in any way. The publisher will say the game can't make money without ads everywhere, yet somehow games made a profit for years without them! Imagine that!

The game is fun when the ads don't abruptly play in the middle of the game, and once the ad is done, the game freezes.. I understand it's a free game, and the devs need ads to pay for updates and what-not, but if the devs could just have us players use the ads to gain more items instead of it interrupting the game and freezing it afterwards... once the devs do fix this I may reevaluate my ratings... until then I'll be uninstalling the game.. really hope the devs do read these reviews

I think the game needs more challenging dungeons on the islands and they need to put the monsters from the hero island dungeons in the other dungeons that we are stuck having to go through on the main island dungeons and the dungeons need a better selection of layouts so people don't get bored seeing the same dungeons so many times that you have everything memorized well. I also think they need to come up with new holiday tournaments instead of doing the same tournaments over and over again

Dreamdale has been everything hoped for in a mobile game-beautiful, relaxing, and full of adventure. But the Halloween event was heartbreaking. It kept glitching, and so many times progress didn't count. Hours of effort felt wasted, and the spider reward slipped away no matter how hard the attempt. What made it worse was not being able to reach support through the app, leaving all the frustration unresolved in an otherwise wonderful game.

Love games that abuse ads to try and force you to pay. I get it, game is "free" but not really when the end user is forced to stare at a banner, that many times lags trying to load something, or a suprise intrusive ad when just clicking an x to close out of settings window. Watching ads is fine, but given you only get your income for a unique view every so often 6-24 hours, yet, I will be force fed the same ad all day, many times even in 30 mimutes. I choose to support games that don't do that.

update: Dev responded with a thanks for the feedback on the balance. I'll be deleting this game until I see an update that I'm convinced will make it so it isn't pay-to-progress. Becomes virtually unplayable after about level 20 (a few days worth of progress) unless you want to fork over more than you'd pay for a AAA game in real currency. P.S. if you're going to play it, just expect to pay the $8 or so to relieve forced ads or you'll want to delete the game after about three minutes of play.

well this was my favorite game... I get an update a few days ago despite the event supposedly starting 10/10? now that could be partially due to my settings I typically don't let apps auto update themselves. now the event pieces (cauldron and customers) are gone but the event info still remains. absolutely delightful 👎🏻 so now I get to do nothing not to mention the ludicrous amount of ads. every couple minutes it seems (2-3) along with the banner ads at the bottom...

starts out with minimal ads but after getting things upgraded to say level 5, you'll spend 50 minutes out of every hour of gameplay watching ads that don't want to end. if that's your idea of a great gaming experience, then look no further. They should rename it to ad-vale though. One of the greatest wastes of time I've ever had the displeasure to try. I'm so glad I didn't spend any cash supporting these 'game' developers.

Ads are incredibly intrusive (popping in about every 5 to 10 minutes) and frankly ruin the gameplay, especially for me because they all freeze while they're loading and force me to close and re-open the game. $8 to turn off just the forced ones, and I'll just be uninstalling instead with it being that predatory. Which is too bad, because the game would probably be fun otherwise.

I agree with everyone else about the infestation of ads! I try to enjoy the game and keep building my island but the amount of ads interrupting is staggering. (plus many times they cause it to freeze & I have to close everything & start over!) Also, they make you walk insanely slow so we are forced to pay for a mount. I'd rather just uninstall. unfortunately, can't recommend unless you are going to pay real money for ad free & a mount. disappointing.

Good game but too many ads! I refuse to play online because of it. Dungeon & ship timers lock up offline making gameplay unenjoyable as u r stuck on the main island. Game still does not save properly (an issue for years now). Needs a manual save option! Needs a female character option. As you lvl the game becomes a grind. It is a cash grab game if you don't like grinding. Repeatative dungeons to get the the gems from them. 10 to maybe 20 at best per, then a 10 min wait (if the timer works).

I really enjoyed the game play. It has clear goals and a lot to do without being overwhelming. I played it for a few hours before I ultimately deleted it .. Because of the forced ads. Developers need to make money but an ad that interrupts have game play every 2 minutes is unacceptable (I timed it.) I'm okay with all of the reward ads and power up ads but you very firmly lost me at the forced interruptions. That's where you shifted to greedy. Cool concept. Too many ads.

It's a good game. Just it keeps freezing then shuts off. I keep playing because I like playing. Very addicting and decent game. Just needs to stop kicking off. Every time it does you get sent back 30secs. So you've lost the progress. Sometimes it takes 3-5 tries just to get in the game. I have a ton of space on my phone. UPDATE: I purchased the ad free option. It fixed the crashing and kicking me off. Now I'm dealing with it not recognizing me collecting material. Nor purchasing with material.
