Drive Ahead! - Fun Car Battles

base game is great but so much ruins the experience, like how it somehow always seems to give you the least from everything (boxes, lucky wheel, passes, etc) dont you think for a mostly offline game you would atleast get more items for a more fun filled experience. it's almost like they dont want you to play and numbers reflect that. if I were the developer I would want the most people playing my game. this is possible if the game were actually fun and you didn't feel stuck.

I was able to play it for a little bit, and then I left. When I came back, it wouldn't move past the loading screen. I closed and opened the app, restarted my phone, waited several hours, cleared my data cache, and even reinstalled it (I think that deleted my file), but it just won't work again. I don't know what else I could try.

Drive Ahead is a fun game still, even if it's not what I remember from when I was a kid. But it still has a lot of issues, both with QoL and gameplay. Like, if the boss event isn't currently going on, I should not be getting boss related stunts. And there's a decent number of bugs still, like sometimes when I start a mission the controls just don't respond and I have to close the app and open it again, and air time stunts just don't register air time nowadays.

I would give this game a 5 star rating, if it wasn't for the new version that seemingly removed OFF-ROAD VEHICLE'S feature to double tap the screen and stick fo any surface. It was so fun in 2 player mode to troll my friends and other users with the car since it could also fly into the air and onto vehicles. But since they removed the feature, it made me play the game less and not have as much fun anymore.

Great game, one issue: FREQUENT CRASHING! It's bad enough that the game can't handle scene transitions from one screen to the other (all it does is display a black screen for a split second before switching) but for some unknown reason it keeps crashing. I don't want this to keep happening, especially after buying the gold pass, otherwise I'll feel like I'm being scammed.

This game is very fun, and I've played a LOT of it over the years. However, returning to it after not having played for a long while, I mostly feel like its overreliance on online play has seriously hindered it. To be specific, the game constantly crashes unless I play it in offline mode. This would not be so big of an issue if not for the fact that the only mode available offline is the standard 1v1 arcade mode. What's the point of that??? Not even the singleplayer-only KOTH or mission modes???

I played this game a couple of years ago and it was pretty fun. I remembered it and installed it again. It has gone down hill. The only way to level up is to buy things not just win a match and get xp. In the arena, originally you would have to use a couple keys to unlock the entire arena. Now you have to use a key on every single level of it. And if you run out, oh just watch an ad. That's stupid. The devs sold out and ruined a perfectly fine and fun game because they wanted money.

The graphics and mechanics are great. But I really miss the old game. I played it back in 2019, it was perfect time killer with fun moments. But now there is not only in-game purchase. There is ads, also so much grinding to do. It was a "have fun" kinda game. But nowadays it's the opposite. Also don't hope you'll play with many different cars if you're not willing to waste a lotta time on this game. Harsh truth.

This *was* a great game. However, now that the game is much more confusing, many more ads that tell you to go buy their stuff, and having to wait to play missions which is annoying. Honestly I think the part about missions is the worst part, like who does that? Why can't I play the game without having to wait 30 minutes between each level? Even If I sleep, only 5 keys will collect. I did play through the entire game before these dumb updates but unfortunately I don't think I will play it again.

It's good. Gameplay is easy to understand, but difficult to master. I spent 4 hours in a row playing when I first installed. Do have a few concerns: first, you should get at least ten coins from a win even if you've used all of your ad rewards. Second, enemies shouldn't be able to hit you for a few seconds after spawning in king-of-the-hill games. Other than that, very good game. However, the difficulty in pretty much every game mode quickly spirals out of control. Could be better.

I used to say the game was good and gave it a four star rating, but then I found the subscription and found out there is a campaign, you just can only do 5 levels at a time with keys. Went down only to 2 stars because the game is still playable. This game used to be so good, but no it's just a golden pig down a drain. They are begging you for your money with ads shoved in your face constantly. Why did you guys do it? Why did you turn a great game into this garbage? Rhetorical of course. Money.

It's a decent game. It gets kind of buggy at times, and there are tons of exploits I alone have discovered. The controles are difficult, but very intuitive. As for the AI, it's garbage. The AI didn't get any game sense programmed in, so they're pretty mindless. The local multiplayer controlles are a bit janky, but I wouldn't be able to think of a better system for them anyway. The wi-fi multiplayer is completely broken, so that sucks. This game would be bomb if you could que for an online match.

"Great game all around!!😁 5 stars" was what i reviewed not 2 years ago, But since then the game has become a lot worse. The function to choose the basic reward or the one that comes with watching an ad after a mission is gone. Instead you can watch an ad or choose a very insignificant amount of coins. Afterwards you are met with "You have signed a sponsor" almost every time and you have to watch an ad and will only get 10 coins. (Appreciated, An ad free in app purchase would help a lot.)

I loved this game back in the day and decided to download it again to have some fun. Little did I know, they completely monetized the heck out of it. A battle pass, loot boxes, rechargeable energy... what happened?! Does this game really need upgradeable cars? It used to be so simple and fun, but now I feel they changed it for the worse. Not every game needs a battle pass, and it's inclusion makes me think the developers want to eek every last cent they can out of this game.

I could speak for all the old players coming back, that the current state of the game isn't as good as the older version. The older version had simpler and more fun mechanics then right now. A few ways to keep all the new features of the game while keeping it simple and fun is, to make hitting the enemy's helmet instantly knock them out. Instead of buying cars, you spin like a machine costing 100 coins. Every spin gives you a chance at getting a car. I hope this helps improve the game.

Really fun, arcade style opponent race car/fighting game. It gets challenging at times to where you REALLY do need to make purchases from the store however most times you just do your thing without spending any real cash. The only thing that bothers me is if you don't know how to (properly) save your game to the cloud, if you're gonna change devices, all that progress and cash purchases are just.. gone. So keep that in mind. Still, fun game, and I still give it four stars.

I love the game in general. It's just that there are several annoying things about it that make the game less enjoyable. For instance, I hate how many hazards are in the game. I'm fine with the sudden death hazards, but do we really need a random beach ball rolling around the game? I've had several matches come to an abrupt ending because of those things. Another annoying thing, is how when an enemy car explodes, the parts of the car linger for a few seconds before disappearing, which is annoying

Ive had this game since 2015, and one point I had all the vehicles. Since then, the game has reset my progress, added ads, and made it a play to win game (you know the ones). Overall the games lacks that unique and chaotic style that it once had a few years ago. Game is still enjoyable if you have never played the original, but it's a shell of it's former self

There are ads now, and every time I get an ad, it kicks me out of the game. Extra rewards through watching ads? Nope Play 5 rounds without being kicked out of the game? Nope Edit: I figured out the root of this problem, you cannot get ads on drive ahead if you limit the amount of background processes on your phone. So if you have this issue fix it in the developer options on your device.

Incredible Game! A little Grindy, but still. I have a problem where my game keeps crashing. It happens pretty randomly, but more commonly directly after defeating a boss or when opening the shop. Sometimes it will just freeze until I close the app, and sometimes it just closes it straight out. I've restarted my phone many times but it hasnt solved anything, and I've made sure its on the most recent update of the game. Otherwise it is relatively bug-free, but I've lost so many rewards by crashing
