I had booked a driver, 2 days in advance, to drive me to the airport. But as the pickup time arrived, there was no intimation from the app, of the driver to be assigned. In fact, no driver got assigned, despite repeated escalations via the app help option. after waiting for 30 mins, the order was cancelled. I was stranded, as cabs apps were not taking requests either. this turned out to be expensive for me eventually I realised that this app was totally unreliable

They are very unreliable. Last minute they'll call and say that driver is not available. Their app doesn't work properly. You cannot call either DriveU or the driver - call doesn't go through. Messages don't go through. Irresponsible people. Also, the user interface keeps on changing. So always end up writing the wrong pickup location. Then they charge u for cancellation. Also, there's NO support that you can contact. DO NOT INSTALL DRIVEU APP.

I've been using DriveU for a long time. Things went fine so far. But the real mettle of a company gets known when something goes wrong I booked a driver. Just 10 minutes before due time, he informed me that he'll come 15 minutes late. When it was time for him to come at the delayed time, he canceled his duty. The app gave me no replacement. when I contacted their customercare, they gave me a Rs 100 voucher as compensation with the words that it the max that they can do Very insensitive people

I had a a very horrible experience with the support here. I made my booking well in advance infact 3-4 days in advance. 2 days before the trip I checked with the support that please ensure that the driver is assigned as I have an important meeting. But on the day of the trip, they started looking for the drivers just 30 minutes before the trip and later confirmed that they could not find anyone. by then I was already late. had no option in hand. I went for uber rentals..atleast the cab reached.

This used to be a great service but of late the drivers are late most of the time or they simply are unavailable and you get a call 30 mins before you need to leave saying they can't arrange a driver which leaves you scrambling to make alternate arrangements.

I tried booking for a driver twice on consecutive days, after looking at the great ratings. I was allotted the same driver Mitesh Krishna the previous day on both occasions. However, he cancelled the booking 1 hour before the scheduled time on both occasions. Drive U could not find me a replacement driver. Their chat window is totally useless, with customer representatives giving bot-like responses. Disappointed with the app and uninstalling.

I had asked for experienced driver and I got a driver who had less than 1 year experience, his driving was very bad and zero judgment of road and vehicle. He almost brushed my vehicle in traffic jam. Kept the clutch pressed most of the time freeing the vehicle which is dangerous. due to that the vehicle would stop several times. Very Bad I will not recommend this app to send driver's to anyone.

Very disappointing experience. I booked a driver in advance, but when the time came, no driver was assigned even after waiting a long time. There were no proper updates, and customer support was slow and unresponsive. Not reliable if you need a driver. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing and not reliable. booked a driver through DriveU on Sunday evening for Monday morning at 9:30 AM. The booking was not confirmed on time. They asked me to wait until 11 AM, and after 11, it was automatically cancelled. It was a complete waste of time....

I recently used DriveU for a booking with my own car and had a very good experience. The driver was polite, punctual, and drove responsibly throughout the trip. It felt safe and comfortable having someone so professional behind the wheel. The only concern is that the pricing is on the higher side compared to other options. If the rates were more reasonable, I would definitely use DriveU more frequently. Overall, great service and excellent driver — just hoping for more competitive pricing.

Firstly, the driver arrived an hour later to the designated time mentioned in the app. Secondly, the driver demanded for extra over the amount asked in the app. Paid him a few extra bucks but the driver wasn't satisfied and kept demanding more which is absolutely not expected from this app. Not satisfied at all.

Unreliable Had did an advance booking (a week in advance) and no driver showed up on the day. As per policy, they share the details of the driver only 1 hr prior to trip. When raised to customer care, they said the app looks for driver only at the scheduled date and not prior. So, effectively advance booking is similar to booking on the day yourselves. Cannot rely on them for any planned travel.

Very terrible service & very unprofessional. I booked a driver one day before my trip & it was assigned to me. And on my trip day they removed it and assigned to someone else & were not able to assign any new driver. When talked to customer service they are saying it was just a reservation. They will show driver is assigned even if they dont have driver.

Downloaded the app for use in Chennai, however while searching for drivers the app without raising a request id, says that no drivers are assigned and comes out of the To & Fro location request page. Moreover the experience with drivers assigned through a third party company was not up to the mark. The drivers do not honour simple requests or dodge such as sharing of DriveU ID card / Driving license copy for reference. Overall due to Poor Experience deleting this app within few hours of usage.

I booked the driver atleast 3 hours in advance, firstly they didnt assign the driver in advance and then the driver cancelled the booking at the last minute. This happened twice on a same and this was done by 2 drivers. At the middle of the night I didnt have any choice other than to drive myself and because of this I had to face lot of issues. Firstly they dont have any Customer Support Call Number where you can call or request for help. Apart from apologizing they dont do anything.

learnt a lesson , not to trust anything. Stupid app where I scheduled a booking 12 hrs before , last minute the driver cancelled. they didn't arrange a driver. Their customer care is useless. Don't trust this app. Used only for short Travel.

The app is misguiding with no clear mention of in city request and call center is converting round trip to outstation without speaking to customer. Also hidden charges comes out during final billing. Please check and book with caution. Very driver friendly but not customer friendly.

My overall experience with DriveU was pathetic, starting from the initial driver assignment to the end of the trip. Even for overnight trips, the policy is not to assign the driver until two hours before the trip, which is inconvenient as we are never sure if a driver will be available. The driver, Ramesh Shelke, was utterly unprofessional. He drove rashly with harsh braking multiple times during the drive. Throughout the entire drive, he continuously talked about how the app was unfair to them

Driver damaged the car while taking reverse within building. Now waiting for damaged charges and refund. I'm not sure how driver got 4.8 rating when he is not able to take reverse with back cameras working perfectly fine. May be the ratings are being managed to get more money on name of expert drivers.

Drive U is a great and reliable app. It always provides drivers on time and makes the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Very helpful and highly recommended!
