This app is $89. I read the comments from the developer in other reviews stating there is a free version; however, a 3 day trial and automatic annual subscription for $89 doesn't function as a free version. If you the developer keep telling everyone there is a free version without having to pay $89 (one of the highest fees I've seen for a game like app), then please provide instructions on how to avoid being charged $89 after 3 days and maintaining a free version. Thanks!
It's good, but it could be better if we can rearrange the placement of each item to our preference. I got used to using Real Drum by Kolb Apps because its easy to use. Instead of keys flying from right to left, it would be better if it fly through the instrument instead, the kit doesn't have to be flashy, maybe a message for hit count combo, misses, and stuff would be awesome too. Remember, it doesn't have to be so flashy, it should be accurate and responsive with no lag. Sometimes, too flashy leads to delays. I'd definitely support this if this would be implemented.
Couldn't even play it to try it. Forced me to subscribe for 125 dollars a year after a 3 day free trial. But with Google, even if you delete the app, you are still subscribed to the apps offerings, so many people will delete the app, thinking that they are safe from the ludicrous price, but no, they are still paying almost the same price as the full game streaming services (which offer hundreds of games on console and pc), for just one "game".
This app was a good idea but the execution was poor. Many of the reviews below describe the problems I had during my experience. 1) timing is odd but not off. Some of the songs have their own drums behind them so if you dont hit precisely you will hear an echo. Every now and again there are fireworks and steam and it really throws off the rhythm. 2) song selections, the song selections sound a lot more like covers than actual the songs. They honestly just do not sound great .

**AVOID** **EXPENSIVE** Wow. £467.48 PER YEAR subscription. The trail/subscription screens are deliberately long winded in the hope that you'll click through without reading the terms properly, which are in tiny letters. The app is terrible anyway, not even worth £4.67. It's obvious from the pricing that this is a borderline scam that makes money from people who, unfortunately, don't look at the small print. You could buy a drum kit for that sort of money.
The amount of money to buy this game is extortionate, I understand clearly that there is a free trial but after the 3 days are over I get charged a stupidly high amount of money for something that's not really beneficial for learning how to play drums. For the money you are asking to buy this game I could easily put towards buying a real kit or paying for real lessons. Making the base game entirely free and charging for individual tracks would be a much better alternative in my opinion.
I'd rate this 5 stars if there wasn't a damn ad right underneath the bass drum. Also, there isn't a settings area. I wanted to make the circles on the drum set larger because the game wouldn't register me touching the snare drum, but I can't even do that. It would be nice to have a search bar to look for certain songs if more were to be added as well. Overall, the game is pretty good, there's just some little things here and there.
I thought this game would be perfect for when I had 5 extra minutes or more and wanted to play the drums. What I experienced was a flood of ads to the point that the bottom of the screen was covered and the bottom drums weren't totally visible. Touch the wrong drum and an ad pops up. Also I love paying developers for good games but pushing out yearly subscriptions BEFORE you actually have the chance to try out the game is greedy. Let people try the game and if it is good... they will buy.
Once you open the game, it says that you can get to choose between buying a years worth of the premium for more access to songs, and you says you can play for free. When you hit Let's Rock you can only choose to pay for the premium. The game is a scam. You have to pay to play no matter what. It's not even worth it to buy, the music is off, when you tap the drums the beat is off, and your tap is off. Not a great game, don't bother trying to play.
I couldn't even get through the first second of the "game." Only reason why I install this stupid app was because I can play drums without having to move my drum set around, and also because it was "free." Might as well make you pay for the app itself! You would be charged 90 USD to drum and listen to music per year/month, depending on which plan you pick to use your money! Might as well spend your money to get a real drum, which would last you years, instead of this piece of garbage!
not good at all i downloaded and straight away the app offers a free trial which you cant say no to, so its either sign up for a free 3 days which then after will cost you almost £70 for a 1 year membership or you can simply just uninstall, (there is no option to say you are not interested in the free trial) so therefore you dont get to even use the app
It's free to download but forces you to sign up for a subscription immediately after opening. It does offer a 3 day free trial but the play store can take up to 24 hours to update anything so if you dont cancle within 2 days, you can still get charged. Might be a fun game, might not. Either way, its not worth my money.
This game is gross. They're one of those companies that claim their app is free then obnoxiously try and trick those who are less tech savvy into paying an exorbitant amount to play. 'But you can play a free version if you wish.' Yes, if you notice the subtle free to play link to get to the game you get to play a small selection of 30sec-ish snippets of questionable cover songs with a lovely ad banner covering part of the drumkit. I get that it's free so ads are expected but yeesh.
I'm not sure if this app is for fun of for educational purposes but if it is then it needs some serious adjustments to it. For example time signatures and tempo need to be shown somewhere so the person knows how many beats are going to be in a measure and how fast the song is. also measure markings, you got the staff down for where most parts of the drumset are located but the measure beginning and end are non existent which is a problem if your trying to learn how to play.
They try to force the 120$/year premium down our throat right off the start and what appear to be like a toggle yo cancel it dosn't work, you need to click the small prints. It's full of add and, for me, hard to play while making sure I don't accidently press the ad banner at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, they seem to have a good selection of music and the gameplay would be enjoyable if it wasn't for all those downsides.
Nice drum app... But the problem is that the music from the older versions (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters, Bon Jovi's Its My Life, etc.) were all replaced by a trending tracks, and I hate those... I suggest to please put those songs from the older version back, or maybe add downloadable contents containing those songs or something... Rock on anyways!
God, this is just awful. You open the game, and see what an exciting game it could be! But before entering, it offers you a 'free membership trial', which basically forces you to accept, no matter if you try to turn it off. And even then, the game costs ridiculous amounts just to even do anything! Highly recommend that you do not download this game, it's a waste of space and doesn't even work 5 seconds in.
Really cramped. How they do the adds take up a fair bit of much needed screen space to play. If you have big, unsightly, cobble-stone looking hands, it makes this game an absolute nightmare. However, if you have a tablet with a larger screen and/or little hands, this might be rather fun & pleasant experience to those who meet that criteria. Main issue for me is: doesn't teach you the whole song, purely for entertainment and not learning.
Even if you manage to find the really transparent x and play the game for free, it's not nearly as good as promised. Where most rhythm games have detection for wrong hits, this does not, so you can easily get 3 stars by spamming every drum at the same time. Furthermore, most of the good songs and higher difficulties of songs require you to watch an ad before and after to play it, and the songs are not even full length. Do not waste your time with this app.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD unless you wish to pay £68:99, you get a free trial but only if you subscribe, I see on other reviews the developers respond with click free play or what ever but it will not let you progress through the menu to play unless you subscribe which is 3 days for free then £68:99. In response to their response, I dropped the subscribe banner and it wouldn't let me progress, perhaps you need to make an update to the game to fix this issue as it seems I'm not the only one
