Dumb Ways to Die

The actual game is really fun and super nostalgic but there's SO MANY ADS. You click out of character customization? Ads. You pause/unpause the game? Ads. You click out of a pop up? Ads. You play a run? In the middle of it, ads. No matter what you do, there's ads. Not to mention when it gives you back to back ads while playing it sometimes breaks and either doesn't give you the instructions or is just a white square, leaving you to figure out the level and not die. Please lessen the ads. :(

this game is horrible now. it used too be so fun but I can't even play it anymore. 3 ads within 1 minute??? like I understand ads make your money but don't put them in the middle of a game when the point of the game is too focus on speed. you can't do that if there's an ad every 30 seconds. if your gonna use ads put them after the game ends and we gotta restart the game, not while playing it. do better.

Lots of fun! I remember enjoying this song/video when it first came out, and playing it as a game is even better. While I do enjoy how challenging it can be, I do have problems with the mustard on hot dog one, for instance, and sometimes it lags/glitches. Also, while I'm not personally bothered by it, I also think an option to change the blood/gore would be nice as well, and maybe some more customizable options for the character you have.

Hilarious and Addictive. This game is absolutely hilarious! The animation is simple, so when the characters die, it doesn't scare little kids. The game is a series of 10 second long challenges, and you have three lives to get as far as you can. It has such a wide variety of ways to die, it even has a couple based on the pandemic! I 100% recommend if you are in to comedy.

What can't I say about this game? The nostalgia alone makes it worth it. Great og game. I gave it 4 stars because there are a few bugs. Firstly, whenever I play the one mini game with the drier (not the one where you have to spin in the opposite direction) the mini game dissappears, and so do the rest. The game does not crash. I have to close out of the game, return, and then it works. I also can't change the color of the bean and the color of their hair. I hope a dev fixes these bugs. Ty!

The collection of mini-games is silly and fun, and I thoroughly enjoy every game (despite how hard some of them are). However, the ads are frustrating. I understand it's how you make money, but having an ad in between mini-games disrupts the game flow and is rather annoying. Ads can sometimes even cause a loss, since the game has a delay when it pauses, which is obviously annoying. I wouldn't mind one when you lose overall, but in between mini-games isn't a great place for them.

I used to LOVE this silly little game! So imaginative and so much fun. But I recently installed it again, and now it's full of intrusive ads - that turn up the volume even if you have it off! I try to pay to for no ads but the purchase doesn't work. I find the sound issue on the ads a deal breaker since I often play games late at night when others are sleeping, so I can't have all that noise. Uninstalling. 😦

Came back to play for nostalgia. Still charming but you definitely need to cool it with the ads. You already have reward ad options and can easily put an ad at the end of a round, it's absolutely needless to interrupt gameplay at every "faster" interval with an ad. Could have sworn that there was a way to practice the minigames, it would be great if that was implemented.

I've been playingng this game sense I was 6, it was a great game! I've always been amused by the different unique levels and beans that have there own stories to them, if you pay attention. The long yellow bean has a tendency to severely mess things up that are related with buttons. The short pink one always gets in trouble with just jamming out on his ear buds. The short blue one, just wants his balloon. The orange one with the plane always has something to do with the plane, and many more!

Super fun and nostalgic, plus they added new minigames! The ads were a bit rambunctious, but considering the ad removal was literally 99 cents and I already had that through Google's free reward points I pretty much got it for free. Very rarely are the taps non responsive, but it is far from unplayable! However, I can never seem to get the piranha one right with how small their hitboxes are... All in all, great fun! I love the character + death customizations. :)

i just wanted to play the game for the nostalgia factor, but it's super saddening the game is different now, and there are popup ads that take multiple seconds to skip in between every other minigame, which is super frustrating? like i wouldn't mind if it was in between every game, but like i just wanna play the game by itself. it genuinely makes it unplayable.

I really like how creative the game is. The music mixed with the odd tasks really make it fun. I found it cool and intresting that the characters can be found throughout different levels and they have genders (Which is unnecessary, but cool). Some levels are more challenging than others, but that's really good. I like games that require skill over luck since it makes you feel oof doing good in a challenging, fun way. Also, if i had to give it an age limit, 8+, for sure. Overall, solid 5/5

It's a grimly lighthearted game, full of silly scenarios. You die a lot, which is why it's funny. Sometimes you die because you couldn't read the challenge instructions fast enough before they disappear from the screen, sometimes because you make the wrong assumptions as to how you are supposed play that particular challenge, sometimes because you're too slow, or your memory is terrible. I enjoy the game for what it is... Lighthearted, hilarious, silly, and oddly enough, death-ridden fun!

left a review 3 years ago about the frequency of ads on this game. I reinstall just for a bit of nostalgia, kid you not, I got an ad right after the app started loading. couldn't even play the game and I'm already being bombarded with ads. the ads actually gotten worse for the course of 3 years. couldn't believe it was possible to make worse worser. do y'all even care or is this going to go unanswered for another 3 years?

I love this game. Not only is there fin minigames to play they have a fun little song to go along with the game. (Which is available on Spotify). The only downside to this game is that there are a lot of ads. Some of them happen at the worst times. I put my phone down for a minute to go grab my drink from the other room and come back and turn my phone back on and then an ad comes on. Also when the ad finishes I have to restart the round. Please fix this.

Such a classic game and concept but my my the ads are insufferable. I've always wanted to play this household name and yeah the challenges are fun but very simple? Regardless you get an ad for everything you do and they aren't short ads for that matter. I've gotten 60 second ads recently and it really puts you out of the mood to play. Fun, but wouldn't recommend because it just isn't very playable. I know ads are needed for income but there's a limit. 🫡🥰

The graphics are and characters are funny. I do not recommend kids under responsibility to play however, this could be some what addicting. The game consists of speed, and quick thinking before the time ends. Like for example, you have to turn the light bulbs all the way in, before the clock runs out of time. If you do it in the time given, you get points. Now if you didn't get to turn the bulbs in the wire, the tree goes on fire, and you loose "one health". You always start with 3 healths.

Great game killed by ads. I LOVED the original game! Funny silly song, cute little survival games, but this new version has tons of ads that are amazingly intrusive. I saw other reviews that said that and thought I could deal with it, but nope! Too many, too loud, too long. I swear I saw more ads than game play. Pity to ruin a great game.

I recently downloaded the game again after some time. The vibe just isn't the same as before, the whole game layout is more weird now. But, that's not the point. Right when I begin a different minigame or I am in the middle of it, an ad just randomly pops out. Another thing, everytime I'm on, the game randomly freezes and won't respond. I have to reopen the app everytime, I end up losing my progress and have to restart all over again.

Ah. Dumb ways to die. Such a classic game. And just as fun as before. I remember that before there was like 15 minigames. But now the number seems to quadrupled, plus the new minigames are fun to play, however some of them play the same, like there are some that required you to tilt your system and some that you need to press the screen quickly as you can. Plus you can make your own bean, The problem is that a lot of the accessories for your bean cost a lot of coins. But in total, it's a fungame
