Works well once configured. Even better with a subscription service and pro version. Try the free version First like I did learn about the program and test it out. I decided to switch over from learning about it to using it. This was because of an earthquake I was informed about as what's happening at the afterwards and not before. But the idea was there and the timing was great I wanted a better time response and this comes with the paid version. Very awesome and satisfied. California USA
Great app with a ton of information available. Highly recommended. One question: Why do I get the rapid "busy telephone" sound when my phone is set down and how do I mute that? I have to kill the app at night because this alert goes off every 5 to 10 minutes. I have seen one mention in a review of this same sound. It does not correlate with any alert settings that I can see.
The only reason I keep it is because it does give you a very fast alert when there's a quake anywhere near you. On the down side, it alerts you when the quake is too far away for you to feel. It not only gives initially incorrect size and location, but never corrects it. Finally, the alarm will go off repeatedly just for looking at a prior event.
Not easy to use for those of us "old folks" that aren't tech savvy. I just wanted to get instant alerts of quakes for my area only. I don't wish to have my phone tracked all the time, so I wanted to leave "location" turned off but still get notifications for my zipcode. Seems pretty simple to me. But I can't even ask a question on this app. Need to simplify further for those of us that don't play with computers all day.
It used to run mostly smoothly. However, in nowadays, the app itself takes minutes to run. I live in Türkiye so we have quakes here pretty often. I just felt an earthquake of magnitude 5.1, and even users started to talk on chat, but there was no warning, and it wasn't even listed in the recent earthquakes! BTW, you can get a real time alert for an earthquake which is about hundreds of miles away! Maybe we should also receive some type of alert even if it is seconds left till the waves reach us?
I expected to see the latest quake on top of the list, but it's nowhere to be found even after minutes even I felt a strong shake. no alert no records of the event, you pry yourself of accuracy and speed, how can this be trusted? today for the first time in weeks an after shock was strong enough to be nötigen physically but no report in my Region at all if I had higher Rating here I would drop 1 star now!
I saw this app that if there is an earthquake inside Bangladesh, it notification A few hours to a few days ago, Bangladesh was hit by a 4.1 magnitude, 4.0 magnitude, 4.4 magnitude, and 3.6 magnitude earthquake and this app gave a notification.
FAKE Alert!!! The app has a “report” feature where users can report shaking. Only after receiving multiple reports does it send a bot generated notification to the rest of the users. And this process takes 9–10 minutes. By the time you get the alert, the earthquake news is already everywhere. Why would anyone need this app?
bug in suggested fixes the "Remove permission if app isn't used" when I clicked it it says "Google Play Store has stopped" please fix it
Why is there a priority for those who pay? You could make a donation button, a button to watch adds, and all that stuff, but I think it's highly immoral to make this app, that's supposed to save lives, pay to win.
100% Fake app. I had a strong earthquake here, about magnitude 6. But I didn't get any notification. But other times, when an earthquake happens about 1000 km away, I get a notification.
Purchased for for priority services but it's not showing in anywhere. And it's allow me to pay it again. I mailed to you but didn't reply. Can u please check it?
a couple weeks ago i paid for the monthly subscription and was charged but as of today it says i don't have pro membership. i've checked my play store subscription list and it has also disappeared from there but i was still charged. i tried reaching out through the help menu but it says under construction. the app itself is beneficial and informative although it needs more work. i'm very concerned about being stuck with a continuous charge. i will change my rating once this issue is resolved..
I can't choose the area manually so this app doesn't help you to monitor earthquakes for your family abroad! Otherwise, this app is so good
It was a good app until it started sending real time alert of other faraway countries. It does not sound for Puerto Rico and USA. It is something else. At first it was perfect. As of what you said, before it would sound for all movements detected by phones. I do not recieve anything at all. All sounds were different and I knew what was happening. Now the app does not sound unless it is a faraway country. We did have a 4.8 close to us and it did not sound. Yes and I am grateful for our Island. 🤔
In response to the developer reply, why do other users have the same issue as me if what you say is true ? I haven't changed any settings on my two phones, before and after reinstalling app ! This app no longer works as of a few weeks ago, went dead, no notifications at all, no settings have been changed. Uninstalled then waited a day and reinstalled, still nothing. Installed a different app that does work good !

even I'm already on top10k still the notification gets to me after 10-30 mins... the subscription is not worthit...
I love the app, but I assume there was an update that now sends me a notification every night around midnight to tell me it has been activated. If I didn't wear a fitbit to track my sleep, it might not be a problem, but I cannot figure out a way to disable this senseless notification and it wakes me every night!
It's a good app, the alert sound is rather eerie, it could be less "psycho" sounding. Also, there have been times that I have felt an earthquake, and I could see that other users in my area also felt it, as their phones reported it, but the event never showed up in the feed, so not sure what happened there.
not pretty but it has a bunch of selections to choose from, you can manage your warnings, how close do they have to be to set off your alarm, tsunami warnings, an update page, you can look at the world as a whole or watch how far one earthquake traveled, chat in multiple languages, you can report the ones that you felt to share the intensity with other users, it isn't pretty but it's pretty damn good
