eBay Motors: Parts, Cars, more

The parts / vehicles selector toggle keeps popping up while scrolling and distracting me. it's incredibly annoying and ruining the experience of using an app I usually love using. Please remove it or add a setting to turn it off

I downloaded the app, created an ebay account, then got suspended after looking at cars for two minutes. I'm not sure why I got suspended because I can't look at my messages since I can't login again because my account is suspended. I tried to make an appeal because all I did was look through some cars to try and start searching for one I might actually be interested in buying. The appeal was denied because of my "account information and activity", I had the account for TWO MINUTES.

Well long story short: Ordered a Brake Booster(Sent the wrong part), and a Master Cylinder (Bad part. couldn't get refund). As far as accessories for your vehicle, they were good on sending the right ones. So I would NOT by major parts for your vehicle on here. I mean we are talking about brakes here. People's lives. Just saying. Thank God I tested the brakes before letting my wife drive it first. 🙏

Well it's good for people with large disposable incomes wanting to buy restored old cars I guess. Nothing for us lowly plebs just looking for an everyday driver. Also apparently there are only 5 Jeeps (any year, any model) within a 50-mile radius of my county with a population of two million people lmao. eBay's response to complaints about having few cars that are all expensive is suggesting that I pay extra to have a car shipped to me from Wherever, USA without even looking at it first. Unreal.

I sent a message to tech support a month ago about my garage showing a duplicate of my car that I couldn't remove without it removing my vehicle. I still havent heard anything back and now the app is crashing. I uninstalled the app and now it wont allow me to log in... no resolution.... login redirects me to log in then says the page has an error

sellers have no power at all.. buyers can lie and you have to accept a return and pay extra costs.

Added my car to garage, search parts and get pages of Universal parts or parts for completely different genrrations that clearly won't fit and it says "Fit." Considering the Foxbody is the 2nd best selling Mustang, you'd think they would actually have parts available that aren't universal...

I've bought before on eBay parts for cars and no problem. but now I bought and I can't even get a hold of a live person or the seller. spent one hour trying . finally eBay calls me and tells me I have no orders from eBay...which is a lie. I have an acct but no orders. I bought a universal ignition switch. it's supposed to go to my car. but it looks totally different and I don't know how to use it and can not get any help from eBay to even find the seller. this is ridiculous.

practically the same app. what's the point of ebay now when it wants to be like Amazon and you can't find anything anymore. Ebay has been worthless for a good while now. we need a new app that was like the old ebay.

cannot stand ebay and everything with it if you like to sell stuff for less than what it is worth and then there's the fees they seem to come to with new fees daily to screw you out of more of your money and holding your money till they determine. when you can have it. absolute BS.its pretty clear i have sold 30 +items on here every single one have been sold at a loss out of the 30 sales ebay has made more money then I have off the sales.the fees change to benefit ebay and screw the seller .

this app is garbage looking for parts that fit your car good luck finding it here

Feedback for ebay: I clicked on "View full details" to see interior pictures of a truck but the larger image doesn't fit on my very large phone screen. It's like I'm looking at a desktop format on my phone, but I can't even zoom out to see full images. And if I rotate my phone to get the image to fit, the app doesn't rotate. (Sad face) Also, I like the slider of 12 thumbnail images of the exterior. Please consider putting a slide immediately below that of 12 interior photos.

If you are looking at a seller's page/cars. You are not able to sort his vehicles. Like "newly listed" or by " price lowest first" I might as well use the regular ebay app, I can sort there. Oh, I almost forgot. This crummy app does not list suggested bid increments when bidding on a car. So you do not know if you are bidding the appropriate dollar amount to put you over the current bid on vehicle. Let me know if and when you plan to add these features to the motors app.

Just installed the app. Only way to respond to a message received on our car we are selling was thru eBay Motors app. Won't let us log into our account 99% of the time to respond. Occasionally we can log in from the link in the email. Not a handy app for sellers at all. Thank you, I just called the number and received excellent help. Login is definitely buggy! Could only login when all other apps are closed.

After dowloading app. The app is useless. Now I remember why i havent listed a car in years in ebaymotors. They don't alllow you modify listing or add more pictures. You can't put a reserve price . You can't end the listing if you made a mistake. You are screwed because they wan't to charge you a full listing prize to end listing. They should call it "CAN'T APP" dont recommend.. Stay away

I love EBay Motors but, this app is a different story. There are lots of options for filtering. Now, try to use them. Don't want to see auctions and you unchecked that? The search results don't change. Maybe just the classified? Nope. Maybe non-dealers? It'll take around 30% of the dealers away. The rest are still there listed as dealers. What if you want to see everything then filter? There's no "show all" you hit enter on a blank search. Not intuitive. 3 different devices all same.

There is not a single part of this app that functions properly. Bugs, glitches, and problems will leave you with more headaches than it's worth. You're better off buying a "for sale" sign and parking your car in the street. Wasn't able to contact multiple buyers due to "message sending/receiving errors" overall paid ebay $125 for listing all for nothing. Wish I would have wised up and left the app rather than investing HOURS into trying to get it send messages or post pics. DO NOT USE THIS!

Good idea, just needs work for selling. Would like to edit photos, at least rotate, and add a video (not Take a Video). After you save a listing, would like to start a new listing at Step 1, instead of having the first listing stuck on Step 2. Overall, it's odd that after all these years it's so hard to list a car from regular ebay or the ebay app.

After signing in multiple times it still says I'm not so none of my favorites are saved. Also can't go straight to a make/model or body style search. Instead you're given ambiguous options like "classic cars", "hotrods", etc. seems to be made for collectors except majority of the cars are common models. Overall its not worth the download at this time, the ebay app is better for me
