Edge Lighting - Borderlight

6.25.24 I've had this app on my phone for 6 months now. I use it all the time.Love it! Love it! What can I say, I'm really into skulls. I now have a multicolored string of skulls moving around the edge of my phone that I can turn on and off as needed. Beautiful. I've always used the free version. The ad supported one. I've never felt that the ads were intrusive at all. It's not like they are on my skulls. I see them when I'm making changes or turning on and off. Even these are not bad. Love it!

Very cool options. Even in the "limited version". I love how you can pick a shape from lots of choices. I wish they had a colorful bubbles one that can be in the "Magical Live" section. That would be great! I love how the bubbles are in the other LWP, so I thought they should just have one that's just bubbles. Have 5 stars anyway. Love the app!

I figured as with most apps of this nature that there was going to be a free version as well as a paid premium version. I was not disappointed. Upon first load of the app, there it was. Your given 2 options to choose from. But... It's not just your basic limited free version or paid premium. You are given the option for a 7 day trail after which you move onto a "weekly" $14.99 subscription. $60 bucks a month to chew battery up and CPU, for some lights on the boarder of your screen?

I had a lot of fun messing with the boarders, but 1. Not worth the subscription fee, 14.99wk, insane. Though, using the free version I came into 0 ads in the 30 mins or so i used it. 2. It's Way too much stuff on a phone screen, that's a me problem though. Has a good amount of features, fun colors, wallpapers, customization for free. I played with the notch options for the longest time, please, never change that, it was so entertaining. cant use the app though, like I said, I would be distracted

Very buggy blocks access to a lot of different apps and $30 for pro access for Edge lighting, get real. There are apps with vastly more complex mechanics and took 10s of hours longer to code then this app and charge less. The maximum you could even think about asking for, for something like this (ignoring that it's not working properly) is $4.99 and even that is pushing it. A reasonable price would be $1.99. that's only if you actually got it to work. Especially considering you have competition.

After I realized that you don't actually have to pay anything for basic use..... When i first uploaded this, it seemed like you had to pay and there was no way around it but i realized that wasnt the case. This app has easily become my favorite for cell backgrounds and lighting effects. I've been using it for over a year, maybe even 2 or 3 and I'm constantly changing it up, with its eclectic mix of backgrounds and effects.

I love this app so far. I'm currently using the quote wallpaper and set my own border colors and speed. Pretty straightforward app! It would be cool if it also flashed when someone calls me though. I can't install a ringtone light because of this app but I like it anyway. I like that you can change the border to skulls, hearts, snowflakes, and many more or just leave it solid. So many wallpapers to choose from and you can even use your own images from your own photo gallery. I would recommend :)

I thought this would maybe be an edge lighting wallpapers and/or NOTIFICATIONS (it did not say it did, but I just kinda assumed it could be set as one too). And now that it's a mandatory free trial to sign up, I will be charged $11.99/WEEK after 3 days. I have tried 3 times now to cancel my subscription. Oh! and there's no easy way to do it even though you know good and well that most people won't pay over $50 a month for this (after tax).

Few bit of ads but pretty nice app. For free, you can customize a colorized edge that slowly moves the colors. Around your phone. Fully customizable to fit exactly how you want. Thick, thin, camera cutout, etc. Also has some nice wallpapers to go with them. Would def recommend if your looking to customize your screens without it being too much in your face.

The graphics, photos, images, etc are stellar & worthy of 5 stars. I've only been playing with the app less than 5 mins so I can't give a 5 star bc I've only seen about half of what the app does. Also, I will never give 5 stars when an app pressures & almost makes me rate it when I have only had it less than 5 mins. Not being ugly, just honest. Also, I could be wrong & figure it out perhaps 7 or 10 mins in but I feel like the material is limited & restrictive in where it allows pic placement.

Buyer beware... The idea is awesome. I went to subscribe to premium, $14.99 A WEEK or $60 A MONTH. I personally don't know of any app that is worth that! $14.99 a year for an out-of-this-world highly exceptional app maybe, not this app. I tried the free trial, I cannot see a difference between the free version and the paid version. The free version does have ads. Unfortunately, I am uninstalling this app.

Stunning(ly horrible) Installed and TRIED to use it, but every time I tried to select an option I would get an error message saying "something went wrong" and it would restart completely. Don't waste your time and don't waste your money once you get in the app. I can understand why they almost force you to pay $20 a month as soon as the app opens...which is absolutely outrageous.

Very cool app. They have a premium version or are ad supported. Their ads aren't intrusive like some other apps in this genre that I've tried. The magical borders are really cool. I also like the ability to resize the notch that goes around your front camera if you have a camera that is within the screen border. Some other apps, the notch would be way off and it looked weird but with this app I can customize the size and placement of the notch so it looks perfect around my camera.

Can't use the app without signing up for a three day trial or suffer through full page ads all the time. The positive reviews have to be paid reviews, as they are untruthful about the non-intrusive ads. They charge you $15 per WEEK or $720 per year. This is crazy. They tell you it opens up a ton of functionality, and it's worth the price. How anyone would pay $720 a year for this is beyond me. Save your frustration and your money, and skip this one.

The app was working fine for the first few days. Then the lighting randomly stopped. When I open the app the lights start but as soon as I exit the app it stops. The troubleshooting recommendations don't work for my phone. I can't whitelist or lock apps but if u can maybe it'll work for u. Giving it one star because it's been almost a week and support has yet to get back to me. EDIT: Wow u really said contact support after I JUST said I did and haven't heard back in a week?? Y even reply? 🤡

Looks cool, but $60 a month for their 'Pro' version is absolutely insane. Don't bother wasting your money, the features do NOT justify the exorbitant subscription price. Presumably the only reason it is a subscription instead of a one time purchase is because the developer is greedy.

Well... The app is pretty cool to be honest, and adds a nice touch to your phone, would've given it 5 stars but the app still needs some work, and the visuals of the app needs more work on the border drawing over other apps... So until that happens, i will definitely give 5 stars, and i already noticed that the developers is on the right track, so it looks like it will be in the near future.

Just make sure you customise everything or it will look weird depending on your phone. It's really good though I've never took my time to write a review before. People are complaining about the ads but it's their only form of making money or they'd have to made it a payed app. Plus the ads are really short anyway and you'll only see them when you're on the app which you won't be after you're done setting it up.

Loved the edge lighting, loved the ability to customize shape, size, speed. But didn't love all the other requirements just to get my pretty edge border. I hated the Wallpapers (who uses wallpapers these days anyway?) They looked circa 2001, basic, rudimentary, boring. But the game changer was when I tried to apply my border. It said I needed to give it permissions. So I go to settings: It wanted COMPLETE control of my phone! It could make changes, tracked every tap I made. UNINSTALL!!

This app is amazing and it works awesome! I love how you can customize every color you want to use for each border and you can even choose symbols to be the border if you would like. My favorite part is the magical live borders and different backgrounds you can choose from my only problem is it keeps asking me to write a review over and over when I have already!
