Edits: Video Editor

The viewport continues to freeze on a single frame after continued use, while the rest of the features work. So I have to close the video and reopen it. It also has a hard time working through short clips when you are zoomed into the time-scroll trying to fine-tone edits. You also can't export videos longer than 10 minutes, so that is limiting and send me right back to Capcut or Premier Pro. Overall, the things that don't work slow down the editing process and make it a bit frustrating.

it was lovely until it started getting glitchier by the day... and now, if I try to use the cutout feature, it immediately crashes and I'm unable to open that file again. I tried clearing cache, clearing storage, uninstalling and reinstalling, it still crashes. I'm very disappointed by the lowering of ability I've seen in the last month or two, but it was still a solid editing app, hence the 3 stars.

Every update is hot garbage. Did the recent update now videos are just blacked out or if they aren't they won't play. How do you keep releasing terrible Apps? Let me guess, using AI vs real software developers. Cool.

This great app just became BAD! With the new update where it supposedly "optimizes" your video, now it makes the app inoperable. I have not been able to edit my videos since. if you move the timeline even an inch, it freezes the the whole video and you can't edit. I even waited for 10 minutes and still nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app. so disappointed and don't know what to do about it. It just sits there on the timeline doing nothing, and I can no longer edit my videos.

great potential for this app! just as a feedback, the app keeps crashing when trying to use the cut-out feature. additionally, in the future it would be really useful to have more languages identified by the captions feature (working only in English). other than this, it's great for usual reels.

This app started out rough, barely any polish, even sometimes your video won't even render, but that was a year ago. Now I'd say that this has become one of the most versatile editing suite for Instagram videos especially, it's fast, integrated, quite easy to use and all that, it's just good now, though there are places in which this app came out as restrictive compared to other editors, it really doesn't impede my work at all, good job

No longer work for S24 ultra. My phone and the app are both up-to-date. It has been always laggy and never really offered a smooth experience (Android users). I constantly had to close and reopen the app because even the smallest change would trigger a "something went wrong" error and cause it to stop working. On top of that, I'm unable to export my edited videos at all now. It's become completely unusable.

I edit some video using this app, at the time of making it will show smooth, but after exporting video to instagram; it pauses at some extent in multiple times. e.g. I made some slow motion videos, but after exporting to instagram, it's getting pause at slo motion moves and it shows normal vdo rather than slow-motion... It started like slow-motion but after it gets pause and normal video will play... There is no more effect that you gave to video. Waste of time by investing 1 to 2 hr in edit vdo

horrible so far. doesn't save, was recording for a reel, was going to edit - took me to EDITS and COMPLETELY LOST THE RECORDING. Glitchy, LAGGY. SLOW. would like to use, but it is just terrible at the moment. Hopefully the update makes it better, but so far it is not replacing what I use to currently edit videos. I think the ONLY reason I'd use it is because supposedly your videos get pushed more if you use it.

the program is easy to use and great in theory but it is by far the most glitchy program I've ever used. Constantly restarting the program in order to continue editing doubles or even triples the editing time. Its a shame that your videos are prioritized partly based on if you use this program to edit them or not. If it worked properly, I would give it 5 stars 😏

Sometimes when I wanna do a video when I put like 13 to 20 photos it took a lot of time to download and sometimes doesn't even download it... But as a video editing is the best app Just I don't like the thing that after the 60 seconds, if you download the video, the song and the noises aren't in the video but is okay ig... Maybe put it at 90 seconds like putting it in Instagram, but I can understand I guess

After feb 17 update, my app is not loading - I am getting no network connection. I cleared cache l, restarted, gave permissions, uninstalled and installed, nothing worked. It used to be a good but in a recent days video crashes even I use some existing effects. Now nothing is working. Deeply disappointed by Instagram, should have tested well before launching.

same experience it seems a lot of people have been having recently. the app has a great interface and was very nice to use.... until about a week ago. Now it takes over 10 minutes just to upload a 10 minute clip to work on, and then it just constantly crashes and will no longer save edits. Hopefully this is fixed soon!

I love love this app, makes editing easy, but only for short form content that doesn't need any much work at all, probably just a video and slap a caption, when you start to edit actual content, app keeps crashing, and randomly freezes, it's frustrating and you can't use this for long from content, can't cut videos in-between, great app, but too restrictive.

The app was initially very useful, especially upon installation. However, I have encountered several issues since then. For example, if I slow down the speed of a single clip, it often becomes stuck and the audio quality deteriorates upon returning to the original speed. Additionally, exporting audio tracks can take a significant amount of time. Overall, the app was quite good at first, but the current limitations have made it less functional for me.

I love the features and the app overall, but I constantly have to back out of my edit and reenter it because it freezes up. Additionally, captions are always missing words and/or popping up in the completely wrong timing and overlapping other captions. I love the concept of this app, but I just wish it worked properly.

At first I found great on using this app. But now the app is no longer functional. With frequent lag and recurring errors after minor adjustments. The videos go blank or freeze everytime you edit it. So you have to go out and reopen it again everytime you edit minor things. The app has become completely unusable.

man, how it can be 4.7 rating. Its a good app but it has SO MANY BUGS. it doesnt generate captions while the video is sped up. Sometimes it even mixes 2 languages in a reel which is fully english. Sometimes playback just freeze, or you cannot trim your video or add an overlay. Everytime you need to restart the app to make it work again

I am so unbelievably frustrated at the moment. I named my files to be uploaded numerically so that they would be in sequential order. when I went to upload, Edits totally disregarded the names of the files and its making my project a nightmare.

Literally nearly unusable. i would make 1-2 changes to what I was editing and the app would stop playing the video. How can I edit something that I can't see? I would have to stop the app, do 1-2 edits again and stop it again so it would 'reset'. Sometimes after stopping the app and coming back in it would stop playing the video WHILE I WAS JUST SCROLLING TO THE PART I WANT TO EDIT. I couldn't even make a singular change. So frustrating. I would give it 0/5 if I could
