Highly recommend you install this app and have it available on your phones home screen in case of an unseen emergency or an obvious emergency situation requiring urgent help. It gives you your GPS coordinates, along with three different words emergency services can locate you by (within 5m). CPR section too! This upgrade is quicker and easier to use with more easy to find emergency services phone numbers. I've used this once with Ambulance Tas, and it works. Thanks for the latest update 👌
This app went seriously bad after the last update. Its main function of showing where you are is now seriously impaired. After starting the app it takes several minutes for the address to appear and many minutes more for the latitude and longitude to appear. OK I guess if your emergency isn't urgent. Prior to the update the location appeared instantly. The developer responded quickly and the problem is now fixed. Working well now.
This app recently updated via Play Store to version 3.0.0 and is now non-functional. The app no longer shows where I am. The map now shows me as somewhere in Africa with no GPS or three word location! Even the icon and in-app images look broken. Location fixed in version 3.0.2. Update location button now working on version 3.0.3. (App icon and loading image still clipped.)
GPS coordinates are dark red/dark blue on a black background. High contrast would be easier to read. Please let the user copy location to clipboard.
There should be a separate 'Test' function that reassures users that the app will work if needed. The app is a brilliant, intelligent concept but I will never know if it works or not until my life depends on it. Please consider providing a test feature.
Jan 2026 update #1 broke the app. Jan 2026 update #2 fixed it - 5 days later. Why the first update was released without proper testing, I'll never know. The whole purpose of this app is to save lives. It needs to work 100% of the time.
This app was great and interface is clear. But now when I open it, it just shows a map of Africa and Europe. It doesn't start with the details of where I actually am (nor is there a button to jump to there). When I scroll round I find a blue spot for my location but have to scroll in and manually pin my location to get location details! This would be fraught in a crisis.
It was a five-star app, until the new interface kicked in. Now when I open the app, the map shows Africa and no location information. I have to scroll back to Australia and enlarge the map to see the blue dot indicating my current location, then click on the blue dot to show the location details. Clicking the red arrow does nothing. Please fix it.
Update 2/2/26: v3.0.2 had fixed the Geolocation bug on Android 16, position is now detected. Highly recommended, great communication on email support request from the development team.
I love the app, have been sharing it to all my first aid students for years. But the 'more information' is not showing the other contact numbers ( Lifeline, poisons hotline etc). Have uninstalled and reinstalled again, but hasn't resolved by itself, and have updated my phone. Is there a way to get 'more information' numbers showing again.
Useful App. I have used this app a number of times as I work at a school. The one big problem though, is that when you use the app to call 000, it does not show up in your call logs. So when looking back at logs to write an incident report later, there is no log off the time the 000 call was made. If the Devs read this and you are able to update/fix this issue, it would make life much easier.
Without having actually used it in an emergency ...initially it located me next door but after going back and forth between location and home ( where I was) on the app it adjusted to the correct address. I particularly liked being able to put the location display on large writing. When I wear sunglasses I can only read large print. Also good to press just one button.
This was a great app. Worked first time every time, anywhere. The new version is extremely disappointing. Have installed/uninstalled unsuccessfully numerous times in an attempt to get it to work. Even the icon is not as distinctive as the previous version. Used to recommend often during training courses. Please fix as soon as possible.
Great start but plenty of room for functional improvement as demonstrared in various other reviews. Be aware that if your 'location' function is turnred off this app will not over ride and turn it on. This would be an important upgrade, as would-be making the app accessible without the need to login. Also, a button is used to call 000 in one touch. It's accompanied by several other buttons. Perhaps it would be faster if 3 buttons were available for 000. This should expedite the call.
Version 2.35, no back button, means exiting app then reactivating the app. It displays your address as per GPS coordinates, Lat/Long, & W3W. Congrats for including W3W. More Information section leads you to a blank red screen. Settings section allows you to blindly adjust the font for the Lat/Long numbers as well as the font for the W3W address. But again, to go back, you need to exit the app and then reactivate it. Not a hassle that you require when you are in an emergency situation.
was excellent, but after the update, map opens in Africa despite locating me accurately. Then none of the location options work. No address, no lat long, no What3words. Renders the app useless. I always used this app in my CFA training role, especially for the general public. Please, please fix this. Was excellent, now useless!
Maybe one day we would be able to send a SMS emergency alert on this app?
I've not used this app in a emergency yet, but the location isn't reliable with a trial. Best to check location physically. The new version is hopeless. Can't correct the location when it's wrong. Couldn't even find my house.
Lifesaving app gone bad. I needed this app in an emergency but due to the new update, I was not able to find my location. It provided the incorrect address after having to wait 2+ minutes and does not provide the coordinates. Please rectify this as it could cost someone's life.
Haven't had to use it but I've recently noticed it consistently locates me at the address next door. Cannot work out how to fix it or who to contact (?) annoying and potentially dangerous. Not happy
