A lot of good things in this app. I wish there was a way to add a payment without having to use a previous transaction though. I pay rent with a money order every month, so it gets lumped in with grocery spending rather than committed spending. I can't really separate it without making every purchase from that store a recurring payment. I also work at that store and spend money there roughly everyday so that further complicates things. Paychecks, groceries and rent payment from 1 place.

Interesting app for keeping most of your finances in one place and managing them easier. I like how my balances with multiple financial institutions are right there so that I don't have to login separately. It would be cool if the app was funnier like insulting our spending habits. More trivia would be cool too. The only thing I'm not fond of is that my auto loan provider, Foursight Capital LLC, isn't listed, so I can't keep track of that. Otherwise, the app is useful to me and I'll keep using.

I downloaded and deleted MANY budgeting apps before keeping this one. It's the only one that does what I need, plus it exceeds my expectations in ease and customization. I love that you can set up recurring payments, see a history of one merchant, batch edit transactions, and so much more! The tags are pretty cool too. And it's actually reasonably priced. So worth the cost for convenience. I'm also able to have my husband signed into my account on his phone with his own pin/fingerprint.

It is an OK app. It is manageable and does what it says. It however, just doesn't budget quite like I was envisioning. Maybe over time it will get some adjustments that make it less of a having to make adjustments to categories, etc. And more of a just knows how you spend money by doing more analysis of your purchases and such. Maybe it can make suggestions on which bills to pay now in order to save money or some other types of adjustments to your habits etc.

Syncing (rarely works when I want) and customer service is terrible, they are rarely available and email days later! I definitely wanted to like this, especially since I paid $60 but I decided to finally make a switch to a new budgeting app. Also categories, not sure what the point of creating a category and then labeling things because it doesn't do it for future charges. It will make me manually change them again. Very frustrating.

The app does not sync with my bank account for weeks at a time, rendering the amount shown in each of my accounts absolutely useless since it is not accurate. I end up checking each of my accounts manually to get the accurate balance since it is not reflected in the Emma app. This is frustrating considering I am paying for the most expensive subscription and it was marketed in a way that made it seem like the syncing was better than the free version. It is not.

I mean still a good app, but forced to pay a subscription if you have more than two accounts which makes freenplan virtually useless. Super dissapointing. If every feature when I used it worked I'd pay, but the tracking of overall accounts never seemed correct, and it wouldn't categorize very well, I couldn't bulk edit or setup rules. I used it only for an accounts total and to pay 80 a year for that is ridiculous. Create a tiered system and u might keep some more people. Hope it's worth it.

After trying an exhausting number of budgeting app, both paid and free, I found Emma to best fit my budgeting needs. Most apps have multiple issues that make the experience less than favorable. With Emma, even though it's a bit pricey, it performs better than the rest I've tried. I do wish there were more graphs and exportable reports. Otherwise its great for me...

I am not happy with this app at all. i signed up for a seven day free trial through Mistplay now I have been charged £83.00 for a years subscription which u don't want and definitely did not agree to and the money has already gone from my account without my authorization. I want a full refund. I only downloaded the app together points for mistplay. Had no reminder or option to cancel my subscription and I can't find it on okay store to cancel it either. Avoid at all costs! very unprofessional!

This colorful (yaassss!), fun financial app has saved my bacon at least a few times! I bought the premium yearly subscription on sale two weeks into using it, because it was easily worth it! My favorite feature so far is that it will tell you if it thinks your bank account could go in the negative (from an upcoming subscription payment before your next payday, for example), and that you should add some money to it. I'm also in the top 7% of spenders on Emma at Chick-fil-A, apparently. 😬😆

I love Emma! I was searching for a good app to help me keep track of my 1. Transactions , 2. Debt , and 3. Bills and Subscriptions. Emma does all that and more. It's asthetically pleasing, easy to understand and operate, and best of all free! Only reason it's not a 5 star is because it doesn't update my transactions as often as I'd like, but even that's gotten better with time. It' a great tool for me, a recent college graduate, to help my take charge of my finances. This + Dave Ramsey. 👌🏽💸

I've used this since pre-launch. Got Emma pro via referrals. Liked it initally so purhcased a yearly subscription. Now however NOTHING is syncing properly. I've had back to back issues when viewing my analytics reports, having my bank sync & accurate information being shown. To say I'm upset is a drastic understatement!! There are far better apps on the market that don't try and swindle you out of your $$$ to keep track of your spending. Want a refund on my yearly subscription at this point..

Cash on hand vs liabilities nope! The AI is automatically excluding a monthly credit card payment from the analytics & from my committed spending in error and they can't seem to fix it. I have two credit cards I am carrying a balance on & the rest of them I pay off each month. The app only excludes my payment for one of those cards from the analytics & not the other. It's also incorrectly reporting a payment to one account as from a different account can't fix that either after 4 days. It Sucks

I like where it's headed, but still fairly new and I can't use all the features to its full extent because of it. Can't connect my schwab bank account for some reason through plaid, cant connect my venmo/cash app accounts (used for a credit card, and fractional investing, and split bills with roommate which would show income), and only mobile access (no desktop/web app). Subscription fee seemed a bit steep as well at 89 a year (unless you get their 1 year off promo dropping it to 29 a year)

Absolute lifesaver. Managing my finances used to feel overwhelming, but now I’m able to track everything in one place—expenses, savings goals, bills, and even subscriptions. The notifications for upcoming bills are a great feature, and I’ve actually been able to cut out some subscriptions Id forgot about.

Disappointing. Free trial then paid £9.99pcm. Switched onto annual subscription offer, but app then restricted even basic functions like being able to transfer from "general" to other categories unless upgrade/pay even more! requested refund as even my free HSBC online banking app offers more functionality than this! very disappointing given high subscription fees.

I've been using this app for about a year and it works great. Links to all my bank accounts and credit cards in one place. It shows statistics for how much I've spent that month, as well as income to make sure I am aware how I spend and what I spend it on. The free does provide some light insights, but better to go for the plus tier.

Such a great way to save money, so simple but seeing where you're spending is going and having it automatically go into categories that you can personalise is honestly game changing. I've gone from living paycheck to paycheck to saving £500 a month.

Downloaded to check this out and Immediately found myself forced into a signed up subscription before seeing the apps capabilities, on some kind of 7 day trial / lock in. Took time to undo with a host of irritating "are you sure" questions. Now on a zero cost basic to look around the app, but my first impressions are that it's all a bit of a mess and I'll be deleting. Shame really, could have had potential but with the whole scam-like experience I'm not feeling positive about my experience.

Bombarded with ads and requests to subscribe to other garbage. Almost every navigation you take results in some form of up-selling. It should be completely free if you are going to get hassled this much.
