I love the app despite the ads. Around 97% of the words I look for are found in this app, Alhumdullilah! Regarding ads, how else will app developers make money? So, I'm okay with the ads. An ad will play after opening the app then after that, no more ads for the rest of the time you're using it until and unless you close it and reopen it.. Alhumdullilah! Thank you!!
I found the program is extremely helpfull with no hang outs or interruptions thanks for all who has contributed in establishing it.
I always depend on it to know the meaning of words in Arabic and English . I t also help know the pronunciation of words. Iprefer to see how they are written in symbles though, it's beneficial and saves time and efforts. And you can keep a record of your own vocabularies to study them later too. The games there are good to keep vocabularies in mind . I recommend using it so much.
if you are seeking money and want to have ads, you don't need to force us to watch a whole 1 minute boring ad, if we have a word in mind, by the time that 1 minute is over, we will have already forgotten the word, why not do like botim, a little ad bar that appears at the bottom of the app, this is a translator app for God's sake, not a game app
1.)It's an English/Arabic dictionary indeed just as the name of the app implies ❤️. 2.)No 🚫 ads👍. 3.) It gives you not only the English dictionary meaning combined with the Arabic equivalent but also gives you the words you search for when they function as nouns pronoun adjective as well as other parts of speech. Dear Google can you allow six stars please 🥰(Although that doesn't mean the app does not need to add more features. It still does.)
Great app for a newbie like me : ability to bookmark, to hear words
Good, effective and efficient.
That application helps me to improve my English language skills. It has a feature that allows you to read any english essay without stopping to translate a difficult word which facing you while reading by clicking to copy it then you will get the meaning, it really saving time and effort.
Their database is broken, listing verbs as nouns. Lists Sinking as a verb, incredibly frustrating to find a translation for "to sink". It's sad because the overlay thing and offline data is super convenient. But super useless ultimately as most of these words aren't used by levantene speakers. Maybe better as an app for Arabic -> English but trash for English->Arabic.
The "word of the day" feature is very poor. It pops up with two or three each day, but the notification is always in English. You have to click on the notification and pull up the definition, and half the time the result isn't the same thing. Today's word was "grow on tree" in English, but the word in Arabic was المعارضين, which the dictionary says means "opponent, contender, opposition". Then next to those English words it's got "الخصم", with no explanation of why it's a different word.
This is one the best dictionaries in Eng-Arabic. with wide varieties of vocab in English and Arabic + the pronounciation. It also suggest to you all the related words to the word you are looking up in the dictionary while typing it, so allows you to know ifyou are typing wrongly. I wish I could find a frensh version of it. Thanks Developers and everyone who worked on this!
It is very helpful, but I am amazed some words don't have translations, such as some herbs for instance, also some medical terms. Lately the dictionary stopped working, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, will check now if it is working. Where is this drawer on the top left to enable full features of the dictionary?
I find the app a little restrictive in terms of translating between English to Arabic, even some of the Arabic words that I know cannot be translated into English. I'd like to see more flexibility and functionality as well as transliteration.
Alternative words present a better understanding of the themes. Keep up the work. wL
The app is very helpful. I use it as my mobile companion during my simple comparative research in English and Arabic. However, it need to be improved in giving dictionary meanings to English/ English and Arabic/Arabic. Not only corresponding meanings between Arabic and English. Thank you.
Multiple long advertisements up to the limit it is hard to use this app. To find translation of a single ward, you need to wait for a few minutes. Useing google search is much easier, faster, accurate and convenient.
The app is fine, but you need to set up that word of the day to be something useful, it offers some weird useless words I never heard of. Someone that uses such words is already at advanced level and speaks the language fluently. You need to fix it to show most used words in daily life, not some ridiculous useless words.
It is very signifigant and functional app! Really, I have found it helpful! It's fast. automatic_begin either in arabic or english as u like, it works. However, the app doen't have pronounciation of the Arabic words or their phonetic transcriptions. Could it be possible to add this to upgrade the app to its climax?
It is fast and easy to use. Especially that it's fonts can be resized for more convenient reading. In any case during last few years that I am using it I have been in complete ease with it .
The App is really good for Arabic learners and helpful to both students and teachers. I really love it. Keep improving it. 🙌 I advice that, let option for pronouncing typed word be added to the App for the sake of identifying vowels, some times.
