Literally the only coding app that's actually delivered on what it says! I'm so tired of "click and drag the blocks" style apps where you don't get anything clear cut and to the point. Like yeah, games are a fun way to learn, but for me I need something more like enki. I've been using it for a few months now, and can see steady progress. Thanks! Can't wait to see what's next!
The modules and learning this app offers are very rich and helpful, especially when it comes to learning brand new concepts. Their database of subjects to learn about was a lot broader than I originally thought it was going to be, including topics such as MongoDB and Linux, both a couple of topics I have wanted to get into but could not find good resources for; Enki solved that problem in a way that's easy to use and satisfying to use, as well. I keep looking for to the modules they continue to add as they update this app. Keep up the good work, Enki! :)
A good app, but it does have some problems. I'll highlight a problem I've come across, and a feature I disagree with. First, the problem: Occasionally, a lesson will be completed before you actually do anything in the specific lesson. Because of how you don't get another exercise of the same type until the next day, you lose out on some learning you could have done. Another gripe I have is how review lessons count as lessons and thus block you from learning any new information for that day.
Great app! Clean interface, bite-sized lessons and lots of options. They even cover many things in the beginning lessons that other courses have failed to mention after completing their entire course. Haven't bought the pro subscription yet, but it's certainly more affordable than some of the other options I've seen. So far Enki is a great addition to learning code!
Frankly, I don't like the app. The color scheme is dull, there's nothing fun about any of the exercises, and I have complaints about the continuous log in issues and the "AI". It presents itself as more than it really is. I'm saying this after having the subscription for almost a year and trying to get into it many times. I've made more progress in coding in BRILLIANT than this app. Brilliant isn't even an app that strictly focuses on coding. It's just more fun and engaging. This app,Not for me.
Enjoying the app thus far, only having gone through a couple of exercises, the modules are clear and easy to understand without any sort of lingo that outsiders to coding wouldn't understand (without reasonable explanation). My only gripe is that there is only one method of learning, which is textbook style rather than having multiple styles such as video/audio, but that is a minor thing. Good app
Really confusing. I like how it has all sorts of courses and things to teach but the contents most of the time are confusing especially for beginners. It's like studying at school, it's sometimes fun but most of the time it's confusing. I would like more practises and tests so we could really feel the course rather than reading long and hard-to-grasp paragraphs.
Don't be fooled, this app is not cheap. The first couple of lessons are free and the same content you'd get reading the first paragraph of wikipedia. After that is paywalled. I understand the makers are a business, but all of the advertising content skims over that part and even after spending a few minutes looking I have no idea how much it costs after your seven day trial expires
This app has quite a bit of good information in it. The app helps you learn, and you help the app help you learn by giving feedback. The lessons are given in workouts (tiny chunks that are easy to complete in less than 15 minutes) and there are even games that can be played to help you further exercise your skills.
I really wanted enki to work for me and was off to a good start until modules wouldn't progress as expected. if I asked a question or got help I would be routed back to the same question even after I finally completed it correctly. Stuck in a loop, pun intended I guess. 😂 I'm using w3school & really want an app on my phone to help reinforce what I'm learning about Python on the go. Minus one star for that reason.
I do love this app. They added Lua, which is really nice timing for me. I wish the app has more satisfying sounds though for more dophamine feedback 😅 But honestly, it's a really great tool to learn syntaxis of different languages and practice programming skills.
You can learn a bit fast if you set a routine. Wasn't that bad - But many have the same issue. People are on phone - or just can't open roblox studio. it would be helpful If you make courses for unity. Thanks!
for some reason I have a account but when I try to reply someone's comment, it doesn't work and when I go to the coding playground and try to type, I can't see the text
Not much of a learning app if you hide the tool meant to better explain concepts to you behind a paywall. Like what do you mean I can only ask for help once a day???? I feel like I'm freefalling because I don't know what I'm doing, can't get the help or hints I need, and only get an extremely minimal amount of examples without just looking in the community tab and getting the right answer right away.
Great job at teaching Python. I love the AI. It helps you a lot when you're confused.
The app is unstable, it can't find network connection and has one significant ux bug.
It's helping me understand easily what concepts are and leading me with useful lessons.
the app is very useful, but I have one major technical issue.there is an input bar that keeps blocking me from seeing what am coding please remove this setting so that I can use the phone's electronic keyboard for input. but everything else works just fine
The app is exactly what I was looking for, even makes me think if the authors had inspiration on "Anki" flashcards. However, most content is gated behind YEARLY subscription, which would be fine if they had at least twice more lessons. I just started the app and I'd be fine with monthly subs, the content quantity is still not enough for me to be confident to pay for it on regular basis.
Not free. It's too slow filled with many slides for each small code piece. Worst part we can't type code when asked to it is not typing what I'm typing or pasting and it is asking me to pay money.
