ESP "EskomSePush" Loadshedding

If you're living or traveling in South Africa, this app is a must. I operate a remote business that requires wifi and meetings overseas, so it's critical to plan for load shedding. This app makes that easy. The user interface is intuitive, and it's easy to find the information you need. You can follow multiple areas at once to coordinate around load shedding, which is really nice. This app makes checking load shedding like checking the weather.

The app is helpful when it comes to load shedding and load reduction schedule as well as reminders yes, however when it comes to other power outages or random power cuts, it doesnt offer the necessary feedback at the relevant time. As a user i must rely on other users for information, which tends be irritating because at time's you come to find that you get the incorrect information and end up getting misinformed.

I prefer the old version, this one is not helping at all, instead it leaves you in the dark without a notice...I don't even know where my area is cause I don't get an accurate notifications... please please go back to the old version 😭😭

Good app in general. would like to be able to delete old chats by selecting them and deleting them at once instead of one at a time.

if I could give it 0 stars I would. this app is completely useless now, you can't see your schedule at all. it forces you to know about load shedding happening in other areas you don't live in and don't get me started on the chats feature. USELESS!!

Great app... would continue to be relevant and fully used if it covered all civic issues and linked to municipal logging systems.... a parallel and oversight system, so when municipal logging systems fail we have one available to step.

Not finding my area on the app! My neighbours have our area on their app, but when I search the area, every other extension pops up except ours. Very frustrating as we are currently experiencing a power outage, updates are being shared with the area, and we're not seeing any of it. We are literally and figuratively in the dark!

After last update on Play Store app no longer functions properly. There used to be a message at the top indicating "No Loadshedding" now says "View schedule". Schedule doesn't indicate correct area and shows Loadshedding schedule. App is now only focusing on Chats, they should change the app name to "ESP-Mxit"

Been without power from 31 January. Substation blew up. 2 Transformers being installed, but not new ones. Dinwiddie not fully restored. We are on the unlucky side. To run a creche without power that long is not easy. Lots of residents lost all their meat and vegetables. This is really not easy. House holds with babies must find this trying time not very easy..........

Did loadshedding well, not so much anything else. Notes on community groups appear outlining an issue, but when opened, despite numerous apparent comments, dololo appears (apart from the all important ads of course....)

I'm not happy with the new updated app. There are so many glitches. When I want to check messages about what's happening in our community, I have to refresh the page, or close the app and refresh it. Like come on

This app has been brilliant up until tonight. It updated itself and deleted my saved area. My area no longer appears on their search list. Please resolve the issue

app is slow to load, crashes all the time, and hangs frequently. Not a good experience.

Of no use. If you chat on it, the municipality still doesn't take note, for they have delay for everything and don't bother about the people and service, same as the government

This is eskom's app for residence convenience. Eskom is supposed to communicate any planned maintenance but all we have to go on is what we as residence inform one another.

The ability to connect with others in my area and share info regarding electricity issues is great. Load shedding shedule is nice. The app bombarding you with ads that use up your data makes it a miserable experience tho. Its greedy and its shady

Brilliant app to help find any updates Please could you add a search function to find updates etc easier within the chat you in.

very useful. can the developer just make text able to be edited to take spelling errors out. That would be great. thanks

pathetic app. can't even see the schedule for the week. You need to work hard on this for it to serve the people with accurate info
