Evergreen: Relationship Growth

Great for reinforcing connection with my partner, but the push notifications are not very reliable. We try to make a habit of doing Evergreen in the morning, but sometimes we get busy and need the reminders. The app is so-so about that. On days when we forget and also don't get the notification, we lose our streak and have no way of seeing what the previous day's activities were. It's a little frustrating, but maybe that's the whole point--to stay on top of it?

This was fun for us for a couple of days. It would get us to put a little extra thought into one area of our relationship each day. I like the concept, but most of it is locked unless you pay $10/mo. On day 3 any activities we could do together are locked. All but 2 quizzes are locked and I'm not sure if any more will be available in the free version. I understand the need to have some paid features, but the free features are so few and the subscription is too expensive for what it is.

Edit: 9/13/23 I conacted support at the email provided in the reply. They gave me simple steps to clear the app data which I hadn't done before. I was able to log back in and restore my purchase. 9/12/23: I've been using this app for over a year and suddenly when I try to open it, it's stuck on the opening load screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. I've restarted my phone twice. I've cleared the cache. It still won't load. I'm a paying customer and now I can't use the app.

My husband & I love this app! We use the free version, which is enough for us - premium cost isn't bad though since it's good for 2 users. We love the activities - whether a question, quiz, or "most likely to," they're all quick while still still building connection. I love the grace the app gives you with your "streak." It's not rigid like most apps are - if you're late or miss a day, it doesn't penalize you, it just picks the streak back up where you were because life just happens sometimes!

Money well spent 😌 my partner loves it. We currently live far away from eachother, but even if we didn't, this is just a good way to check in and get to know eachother deeper. I like how simple the layout is. There are apps with more stuff, but they can feel like too much. One well thought out answer a day is enough. I think the quizzes could be better if they were a bit more emotionally challenging, but that's just my opinion, maybe the point is for them to be lighthearted. We don't do many

I didn't want to like this app, but it grew on me over time. Eventually, we lost interest in the app and unsubscribed but a couple months later we realized we began arguing more often after this. Obviously the app isn't necessary for a healthy relationship but it's a surefire way to give your partner a few minutes of your day and think about things you may not have otherwise.

This app was a pleasant discovery. My Girlfriend showed it to me and asked me to do it with her. I was pleasantly surprised by it - very easy to use, and unobtrusive. One feature I'd like to see down the road is the ability to split the cost of premium down the middle - $4.99 each or $25 annually each. Provided both linked accounts agree and confirm their payment info, and give people the ability to shift the full cost on renewal to one of the linked accounts. Otherwise, a solid app.

I'd like to see a third choice on the surveys because sometimes the questions asked don't fit either partner and it's not fair to have to choose a partner when it really doesn't fit. Maybe it needs Neither or Both button. In addition we don't get to learn about a partner when we pick something that really doesn't fit it would open up a lot of conversation to say neither one of us or both of us. But there's some really great stuff in the app that we have enjoyed

I've enjoyed this app so far, even though some deeper "lessons" are only accessable by paying. the lessons available that are free have been great to open discussion on topics you might otherwise struggle to bring up. my favorite part is the couple's list and you can document when things are completed with the option to make a note.

I liked this app to help in my relationship but now it only seems to make me sad. We'll have like a 100+ day streak and one off day it's all gone. We got to 100+ days twice now and instead of it looking like progress it just looks like failure.

I wish the free version released a quiz weekly to complete and had more things added to it regularly vs just the daily question or survey.

if it's a paid app why don't you guys mention it in the discription I liked this app when I logged in but after that it was showing the premium option it's joyful but only for three days

The app is great, can we please have a way to get our streaks back? It's so disheartening to have a wonderful day with your partner, not thinking about your phone, just to come back the next day and see your 50+ day streak gone 😭 I almost want to uninstall bc it hurts to see us have to start all the way back over from scratch after all the work we put in.

My partner and I have found Evergreen to be an absolute joy to our routine. Particularly whilst we are long distance, it's a great tool to have fun lighthearted games that open up doors to some conversations we hadn't thought to explore yet - along with a little silly competition. I'd really recommend even getting it for just one month to make the most of it! So happy we found this.

I like the app with quizzes and to do lists for engagement. it would be good if it included countdown features for anniversaries and the number of days we've been together.

We really have enjoyed using this app to stimulate discussion. One change we both recommend would be to add neither and both as answer options on the quizzes.

The app was good, it was fun until everything you could do turned out to be locked. Unless you pay, your activities will be reduced day by day until you only have two activities unlocked which obviously never allow you to grow your tree (the main point of this app). It was fun and useful at first but the third day left my partner and i with 1 joint activity. The developers do need to be paid, but maybe instead of doing an app that loses its main objective by day three just make it a paid app.

Woot woot! First person to review! I really like the features of this app so far! Many useful tips and things to talk about with your significant other! Nice games and daily things to go over! Really like it. Although many features are premium only, I'm not sure if with the basic we will have a tree grow in the end? Only two mini quizzes available for basic. I really wish more things were available on the basic download version... Other than that, quite good!

Don't like how there's a premium subscription, but overall great app. Only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is the premium
