Great app, when it works. I've been having issues to log in to my account through my FB profile and get a message saying there's an error and I'll be able to log back in when it's fixed. I hope this fix will happen before the next box ships out so I can make sure I get the meals I want since the pre-picked meals are not always preferred by my household.

The price for this first box was good, but the portions are small, and some of the ingredients were spoiled. And I keep getting the run around when I try to get help on the app. I get to the contact us, and it keeps telling me to log in. Not a very good first impression. Unless it can be rectified, I will not be ordering again.

I didnt continue with this because I do think groceries are significantly more affordable than this service and I never used it for years. but then one day, I left the subscription on and tried the box. while I did cancel, I did enjoy both meals I made. it was really easy to make and the pictures and descriptions of what your food should look like helped. I just wish the food remained fresh for longer. but overall, quality and tasty.

The recipes were too complicated, and I needed simplicity. Canceling my subscription was nearly impossible. I thought after deleting my account and the app over a month ago, it was done with. Until I see they've taken $50 out of my account without notifying me of what random food items they decided to make me pay for. It's absolutely ridiculous. The order just went in today, and they will not cancel it or give me back my money. Thieves!

the food and ingredients quality is decent, somewhat on the less desirable scale but not bad. the meals are very consistent with little variation, a lot of wraps, burgers and noodles that it kinda blends together. the real issue is this: you can only cancel your subscription on the web, not in app. and if you forget to skip a week you get charged and CANNOT get a refund. once you are charged there is no refund, there is no canceling the box, and the app doesn't always give you the warning prior

It should be named Garbage Plate in my opinion. I tried this service for months. The vegetables appear to be rejects from their Hello Fresh line that are almost always near their expiration date when they arrive (soft potatoes, partially wilted onions and bell peppers, etc.). 99% of the time the side dish is either potatoes or carrots. At least the carrots hold up better when they're old. Also, the chicken is frequently tough and difficult to eat.

Gotta be honest- I expected to cancel after the intro box. I've never had good luck with options being things my household would eat... but I'm on my 3rd box and actually get excited to pick next week's meals. I get 5 meals for 2, and it's about $75/week, which is way less than I was spending at grocery store- PLUS it's healthier, far more varied than my "usual" menus, and it doesn't require going to the store, which greatly reduces the amount of junk food getting here.Highly recommend trying!

Edit: App works again! Full 5 stars, the app makes it very easy to select recipes for future weeks, skip a week, update your subscription, and view recipes when I misplace the recipe cards (whoops!). The subscription is awesome, can't beat the price, the food is good, and I haven't had any trouble with missing items. My 1 star is because the app updated and now doesn't work. I will have to use the website instead... Hoping the app works again soon, I liked having the recipes on my phone.

It's so nice knowing what we're having for dinner. We sat down and picked our meals together, and I'm having fun cooking new recipes. The food is fresh, and the recipes have been delicious. We are definitely finding some favorites. I may change our plan to 4 dinners per week. I definitely go to the store less. My husband is starting to get used to the smaller portions, but I can always add more protein to my order if needed. So far, we are really enjoying the plan, and I enjoy cooking again.

Deceptive business practices, blatant lying. My meals were auto selected as soon as I put in my payment information, even though the app said I would have the option to choose on the next page. They will do whatever they can to keep you, and you have to call to cancel. They will try to trick you into not canceling, offering you a small credit as if it's a done deal(that can only be applied to full prices boxes!) Also, they don't text or notify it's delivered- just send an email.

...I believe it actually saves me money! the recipes are easy to follow and delicious. Lots of variety to choose from as well...some of the recipes would be very skimpy for four people it is supposed to feed. luckily Im only cooking for three...so beware you might have to supplement. that is why it didnt get five stars from me...also it is not easy to find how to cancel an order in time! Im tired of that kind of tricky business practices. Unfortunate.

Love this service! Love all the wonderful options. Packaging is great and recipes are easy to follow. Delicious as well. I've already saved a ton of money on groceries by using EveryPlate. I highly recommend it. Takes the guess work out of "what's for dinner" You're able to pick and plan your meal deliveries 3 weeks in advance & can make changes up until 5 days before delivery. Keep up the awesome work EveryPlate!

This sucks, a box never showed up. Also got charged for a box that I did not want. Had to fight with customer support for at least 3 hours to get a full refund. Then asked them to cancel my subscription, they said that they did...but they did not. I had to go in and figure out how to do it manually myself. After canceling they still keep your card on file and there is no way to take it off. Update!! Been fighting for months for them to delete my payment information and they still havent! Sketchy

Hard to get food or cancel. After not receiving the hugely discounted come-back first box I went through the arduous process of getting through to customer service, and they were very nice and said they'd credit my account for the price of the first box for the second box. That's not ideal, you know, with the second one being more expensive but they were very nice. However, they never actually did that, so now I'm down $30 without a single meal and it took 45 minutes to figure out how to cancel.

Prices are GREAT! Nice options every week. Of course, they don't offer enough low calorie meals that have a protein(meat) in them. We do have issues with veggies being almost expired or not ripe at all. Occasionally, they hit that happy medium. It is afforable & I love the time my wife & I spend together cooking. However, we have NEVER completed a meal in the time the recipe card says we should. The ice packs are often exploded all over the meat pack. Please do better EveryPlate! Dinnerly? Hmm..

Apparently, when you deactivate your account, it doesn't automatically cancel your upcoming order (even if you're within the time frame to do so). This is also not made clear at any point during the deactivation process. So you will still be charged for your upcoming order if you don't cancel it manually first, before deactivating. And since most people won't realize until they're bank account is charged, it'll be too late because the order was already placed.

Been a member about a year. The app works better more recently. At the beginning the service was great. Then we started receiving boxes that were missing ingredients and had to go to the store for those missing ingredients, every time (...covid is why we signed up for this service so we DIDN'T have to go to the store...). Now the problem is they don't change their meals up and the only different (and inticing looking) meals you can choose from are marked up in price which is a disappointment.

Service is good overall, and meals are the quality advertised. But, the price will not stay at what the ads say forever. There is a $10 delivery fee, and meals are, on average, actually $6 a serving. However, this still saves me time, planning, reduces wasted food, makes for easy cleanup, and has me eating healthier than I would otherwise as a college student.

The app is OK, the service from this company SUCKS!! My very first order was all messed up, I got NONE of the meat items and only half the veggies were included. I logged into the chat option to speak with someone, it took 30+ minutes for anyone to even acknowledge my presence. They couldn't just send me the missing items, so they credited back the order, but only to my account here, only to find out that the credit could only be used on non discounted orders.

It’s alright. I wish there were a way to automatically skip weeks until you decide you want a box. It’s too easy to forget to do so, which strains my already tight budget. As for value, it's just okay, you're really paying a fee for convenience. With grocery pickup at most grocery store around me though, I can make most of the stuff they send just as easily, and usually in a healthier way and for cheaper (and yes, that's including the cost of gas). I'll use this every once in a while.
