Evite: Email & SMS Invitations

They charged my amex without giving notice or permission. I just got a paid email. Then when you go to their website on your phone . The billing option is unavailable in your account. Even when I go through my browser, it won't allow me to see my billing option to cancel. This is bad business.. Especially if you can see your billing section on the app.

Once upon a time this was a great app. My issues started when the update changed the way you entered the event details. Some of it was repetitive and tedious. The idea of making the invitation more customizable sounds like a great idea but it also made it easier to mess up and accidentally change features in the invitation. Now, I can no longer get into the app. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I can no longer login,but only on the app. I alsono longer have access to a shareable link.

I tried to send invitations yesterday, they charged me for them, but they weren't sent. I tried contacting customer support only to find the number they provide online to be disconnected. I have emailed 3 times since yesterday morning and still can't get a response. For selling something like invitations that are obviously time sensitive, the customer service is terrible. One star because the app didn't work and I can't get help to receive the services I paid for more then 24 hours ago.

It takes a little work to tap on the tiny boxes to edit and change the font. Having a pen on my phone was the only way that I was able to maneuver, and it was still hard not to accidently move a whole sentence. But once you get that managed, the Evite does turn out looking great. And there's a couple of choices that are so cute for being free. Of course you're going to pay to get more and better choices.

Love the convenience! Don't like that I found out (after I sent the invites) guests have to login (at least that's what I'm seeing) in order to accept or reject an invite; not everyone will want this. Those who are intrigued will join. Also, the "show more" details needs to be where they don't have to tap on it. Not all people realize it's there and you may end up paying for someone's dinner when they didn't expect the bill. 😯

This app/website used to be THE PLACE to go for invitations.....now many of the "good" templates, they make you pay. Also, for some reason, the app interrupts my music listening when I open it and I can't seem to find a setting to disable whatever it is. This app isn't worth the storage on my phone. I'll just use the website.

It did the basic job and made it easy to track guests. My issues were with the communication to guests and uploading photos. For the guests, I tried to send out an update when the time changed. No one got it. I could write the note and save it but it wouldn't send. For the pictures, I couldn't filter by folder or sort by date. I had to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to my newest photos....the most recent were at the end and after the first round of 10 (Max I could upload at one time) I gave up.

Tldr; frusterating and greedy. They push adds, which is fine. But then they require you to buy premium for base line functionality like getting a shareable link, or "hiding" the gift section. They force you to have a gift section, knowing you almost never want to have people bring you a gift for a party you're inviting ppl to, so you look cheap and greedy if you don't buy premium. Unnecessary, and disappointing.

After creating invite, tried to send out test ones through text (cuz that's the whole reason I even tried the app) to see if anyone was getting them. It seems as though no one has gotten them even though I followed the instructions to havawwe them sent by text message. Also, when I hit review I should be able to see the entire invite on template the same way the person is going to sees it, but it doesn't. I really hope my friends are not seeing ads in their invites! If they get it at all.

Very buggy. There is something wrong. I paid for the premium. I couldn't get the text box to delete that I had first filled out . I wanted to change it but what I first wrote wouldn't go away even though I deleted it. Tried to create a link but it didn't work. I read the directions and everything. Also on the front of the invite it kept putting the address twice. Had to try many times to get the name of the Church on there but it would automatically change it to an address.

Honestly, I hate the updates they made. This app used to be free. The graphic , the colors , the designs and the categories are amazing . I don't like how we know have to pay just to send evites. Just to send a small amount of invites the pricing start at $15.99. Very disappointing !! Not user-friendly anymore. If I could this 0 Stars , I would.

It doesn't notify me of invitations and as a result I've missed events (and been a little surprised I wasn't invited!). Also you can't get to the gift/wish list from the app. So then I look like an idiot when I ask if there are any gifts they do or don't want because they thought they provided that info. It wouldn't be that hard to fix these things.

I can't edit peoples names or their attendance status. Some of my guests don't want to sign up for the email and phone number and all that so I have to mark them manually and I can't. I'm going to start looking into other apps since this one has not been fixed yet. Its a great app in general. I wished there was an option to send rsvp reminders and to place rsvp deadlines.

This app has gone downhill since last year. It was great when I needed to use it for my bridal shower invites. It started getting spotty a little later when I was trying to create a kid party invite. Now, I am unable to get it to work. It has been loading all day. I have tried closing the app, uninstalling, reinstalling. It will not work. It is so freaking frustrating. Why does it not work????

Hot damn, this platform has gotten bad. My guests are finding it impossible to find the What To Bring list I made and I don't blame them. I myself can't figure out how to edit my What To Bring list and it doesn't seem like the guests are able to write in what they want to bring anymore. Definitely going to use Partiful for everything from now on

App no longer works. I get the error message, "There was an error signing in. Please try again." I know I am using the correct login because it works on my browser, but I can't get the app to work at all. Un-installed, reinstalled, restarted and updated phone. App seems completely busted for at least two days now.

I used to love this app. It seems the older it gets the more glitchy it is and the SLOWER it is. But I have so much history in it I hate to switch. Most specifically annoying it somehow keeps old phone numbers in it's address book and I constantly have to double check which number is correct. Just use my current phone's active call list!!!

not mobile friendly. The screen remains as desktop, so you can't read most of the screen. you also can't scroll from left to right so my invitation is completely illegible unless I'm on desktop.

I do not understand all the rave reviews for this app. I found the free services very limiting to the point of useless. I paid for an invite to get a bit of what I wanted. It was difficult to locate & use the various functions. The recipient functions were horrible. Unless I invited a couple individually, I could only send the invite to one of them, causing issues. I then sent thank you notes & the edit function was horrible. I will never use this site again & I definitely don't recommend it.

I came create lovely invites and track responses easily- I love being able to text them. I would like to be able to i have people sign up to bring something for a pop where I don't tell them what to bring.But they can just write it in.
