Honestly, everything seems like it takes money to get- there are times where I don't wanna subscribe or can't afford it. Also, there's not much access to "free" options. I remember when I first got the app, it felt pretty fun the things I could get and do, but now, I can't do much without having to buy subscription. Not to mention it changes every few hours or two which is just weird.

They used to be good. The free option is not usable with many ads, watermark, and limited selection so I paid the yearly subscription. With recent updates , the paid subscription now also added watermark and limit how many you can access before they block your account. I contacted the developer about the watermark and restricted frequency use thinking it was an error for the paid subscription. They pretty much said too bad that's how it is. Don't waste your money. It's not worth it anymore.

It was perfect until the recent updates. NONE of the good ones are free anymore. Just a few hours ago I was using it on all my art and now I can't even use it at all without paying. I know it's probably hard and maybe expensive to code (I don't know, I can't code to save my life) but you could have at least made them available after an ad. The prices for the premium are reasonable, sure, but I don't really want to spend money on an app I'd probably barely use after I get bored of it.

This is cool and all. But it makes me pay for every feature/filter, even if I subscribe it makes me pay again to be able to use that features. There should at least be a 3 day free premium to let people test out the different kind of features before deciding to subscribe or not. There's also the problem of the free features, when I input a pictures it created something way too different, like for example if I put a cat picture it would make a car. By far the worst app to download.

I enjoy this app, and like how each day it lets you sample a different filter for free or by watching a 30 second add. I am really disappointed that it doesn't pick up skin color though, and no matter what everyone becomes light pigmented. POC should be able to see themselves in anime form in their own skin tone too. If you can update that feature, I'd give it a solid 5 stars.

This is a shady app, DO NOT USE! Downloaded this app during the brief social media craze they created and gave up very quickly. This was months ago... well, I found out today they've been charging me weekly ever since I downloaded it, even though I never authorized any purchases. Whoever decided to charge weekly so the dollar amount is too low to notice was a smart person. Wasn't a ton of money, but I'm still pissed.

I paid for a 1 year subscription and halfway through the year they started to remove the most important reasons why I purchased the app to begin with. Please SAVE YOUR $$$$$$$$ for instance there is a watermark at the bottom. And more importantly they advertised falsely that you can use your own photos and do face swap with them. Now it's being "upgraded and only the top tier get to use it" DONT GET A ONE YEAR SUB. They can and will cheat you. When I wrote to them they showed little or no care

Not very good. I think their technology is probably very new and under-tested. The software they use to identify and re-face their videos is not that effective. They could do a lot better. Saw those videos on Insta as good enough for me to be willing to download the app and pay for a weeks subscription just to TRY it. Not worth it. Half the videos didn't even load and had error msgs!! I have cancelled my subscription. Been using Reface for over a year its so much better and u can use it for free

It only lets you make a few at first for free (you watch an ad, they get paid, and get user data they also get paid for) Then only shows subscriptions to make anymore. This was after I wasted time trying to get a cute bunny video and it kept making me the wrong one. Even the photo options are a gamble to receive after ads because of "too many people in queue, try again later." You watch another ad to try again, and they make more money again. Good quality videos when it works, but greedy app!

App barely works! Takes forever after a million clicks to go to the next step, then it won't load at the end. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but once I did that there was no way to log back into the app without needing to pay for the subscription again. Don't waste your time!! I regret making my purchase. If I didn't pay the low subscription fee I would be arguing with someone for a refund! HORRIBLE!

It's a fun app, not going to lie this could get addicting. But I could only subscribe weekly when I wanted to subscribe for the whole year. I tried to search different ways as to find a way to change my subscription and nothing turned up. Still stuck at the weekly subscription. If someone can explain or reach out with help, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's something you can use for fun but barely can use any of them, it's always the exact day that they make all switch and doesn't allow you to continue with the others unless you get a subscription. It's very disappointing to see there's so much ads pushing you to get it and we're not free to use much. And now you're limited to use any.

This app literally doesn't work. First of all, you have to pay for almost everything. The things you don't have to pay for are limited, and 99% of them don't work, which adds issue to the only 2 free uses. I downloaded this app for the anime filter, thinking it might work nicely. Then I realized I had to pay for it, but it didn't just end there. It white-washes, women-fyes, and doesn't look like the "Anime Standards" at all.

Used to be better. I've been using this app for a while now and I did really like it. I was totally fine with watching ads and using the free filters, especially in the anime ones. Recently though, its started saying I used up my daily limit on certain filters, when I havent even touched them—or any yet that day—and though they are stated to be free. My options are way more limited now, and I can't even watch ads to use those filters, it just tells me to pay for unlimited uses rather than daily.

Pretty cool where technology has taken us. I know that this is an Asian app and their facial features are the most adaptable for this sort of app, the only thing I would say is not good about this app is the lack of representation of body sizes and if somehow the generator could pick up of skin tone to be sure that the exposed skin on the rest of the body matches the face.

Total Scam. The app says you can Unsubscribe at any time, but offers no such option before deleting your account. The better version being locked behind a pay wall, this company will take your credit card information, and not allow you to unsubscribe. I'm going to need feed back on this from the developers. I will be doing charge backs through my institution.

When I first got it, a bunch of things were premium, but I didn't mind it much and still had a lot of fun on the app with the free ones! But then suddenly I come back today and I can only do 3 images per day?? Everything is free now, which is great, but I want the old version back so I can mess around and have fun more.

this app is such a scam, I got it to do a trend to put affects on my art. and EVERY. SINGLE. FEATURE. is unusable. as soon as you click on it the app shows you an add for the premium version, which costs money. and unless you buy the premium version you cannot use the feature. don't get the app unless you want to spend almost 20 bucks on it every six months.

Nothing is free anymore! I wasn't using the premium passes because I am a minor and don't make that kind of money so I was only able to use the four available. Within ONE DAY I couldn't use anything!! Absolutely ridiculous! This app is asking to be made into the "it is so bad, I wanna give you a zero, but that's not possible. So I give you a one 😒"

When the "free" filters get popular, they turn them into "paided" ones. Its simply anti-consumer/anti-user to start charging for the same features and filters that used to be free just a few days ago... I uninstalled because my favorite free filters are now locked behind a subscription. I wouldn't mind subscribing and paying for this service, but I will not support the practice of locking previously free features behind a pay wall just because they want more money. BYE FACEPLAY!
