I'm not saying that this is a bad game...there just doesn't seem like there are any real goals. Mindlessly clicking on "profits" on businesses so you can build other over-priced buildings doesn't seem very satisfying. Plus, many buildings can only be built with gold...and there's no real way to obtain enough gold without buying it. Kind of a bummer. This game is a great way to pass time, being that it keeps you clicking for hours, trying to afford the next piece of land.
I love this game, and have been playing it so far for three weeks. Theres a lot you can do, and without having to soend real money. I spent 5 bucks already, and just because I was impatient :) One suggestion though... maybe add filters (autofilter would be perfect!) for the locations so that when you go to build something in lets say Willowdale, you don't have to scroll through all the other locations' buildings every time.
This game has a lot of potential. The tutorial isnt in your face overly annoying, its easy to learn and easy to see goals and times to build are not days or weeks. I leveled up quickly and played effortlessly for 2 plus hours. The game doesnt start by asking you to buy some outrageous intro package. There seems to be a lot of map to discover and unlock. The only grip is the story line is a little , and i mean just tiny little bit, stale. Other than that, im hooked.
Fun game!! Totally addicting. I love building the different style of towns. Each one has different styles of buildings and decor. I can't wait to build them all. I wish we could have the option to buy more builders, or earn more builders as we hit certain levels. Also, it would be nice to add friends to the game that could gift you with coins, decor, or points one could save up to buy future buildings with. Just a thought. Awesome game. It's still new and has many more updates to come!!!
This game is so addicting! I do wish that the long term goals were explained right as you begin to play, i had to search around the forums/FB to find answers. Otherwise it is a great, challenging strategy game. The incentives/chests are really good, so they keep you going for hours, excited to get to the next one. Definitely recommend.
This is a very cute game and I like playing it; however there are so many glitches and that's why I am not giving a higher rating. Everytime I watch a video for a free treasure chest, the video freezes and I don't get the reward or the video plays and then goes back to the game wthout giving me my reward. Same with the wheel of fortune. I am so frustrated I am about to uninstall. This doesn't happen with their other games, just this one. Nowhere in the game is there a contact support option.
Updated review: its super addicting weeks later, just oober expensive as predicted. Prior Post: I love the Zoo Life, another Sparkling Society game, because you can watch ads to speed up building times. I'd play the daylights out of this game too (it's right up my alley) if I could speed up building times via ads. I don't even mind spending a little real money in a game that i love, but using gold to speed up will cost more and more and I can't justify it.
Nice game among city builders. Single player ( which I usually prefer), online feature is leaderboard only. Good graphics, player friendly except for how other players gripped about. The fact you cannot leave game and it still collects money. Maybe even a storage house limit, and you lvl. it up to store more, or maybe like how "Idle Islands" game behaves.Maybe also ad other races/nation's in other regions of the game to trade with. Caravans and what not :) . Overall 4/5 for nothing is perfect.
It would be a great game except the fact that most buildings, upgrades and other things require gold bars and of course ya'll would require those to be exceptionally hard to come by or have to be purchased. I'm not sure if ya'll realize, but there is a epidemic going on which has caused alot of people to be out of jobs and not have money. It seems to me that maybe ya'll would maybe make it a little easier to get these gold bars in order to expand and build, this really is a good game.
I love this game! It is a bit out of my budget for prices and wish they were a tad lower. I did buy the starter pack which is a first for me to waste money on. Only issue I have is I have to click on the treasure boxes to see how many keys there are, a better access on top would be nice. Also if it was individualized by areas on the amount of work and people so easier to determine where to build more. Really great game otherwise and not worth docking for just those issues. 😁
It's a very cute, fun game so far..much like Town City which I'm also playing by Sparkling Society. I enjoy the cartoon like, bubbly graphics of building houses, businesses, etc. It seems to go quick to advance up to say level 12, but then takes a little longer. Overall if you are looking for a fun, at leisure build a city game, I recommend this one.
It's not a bad game. But I just ain't progressing much. It asked me to build a bunch of buildings. I did. It told me to upgrade them. I have. And now I have very little money, only getting a few thousand dollars per minute or hour or whatever. I don't know how I can buy the pirate place when it doesn't give me money ... been trying to unlock that place for like a week. 🤷♂️ Another disappointment from these creators.
I finally found a building game that allows me to just focus on a few things. There isn't time consuming, impossible missions, a crazy amount of advertisments, pay to play, or needing help from neighbors. You just generate income and buy and customize your town, just make sure everyone has jobs by building businesses and there are multiple towns each with a different theme. My only complaint is that I wish income continued to collect even when not in game.
This game avoids being a pay to win game by very narrow margin. It has become spit in my face clear that it is going to take a free player years to unlock all the areas. This is due to the the high number of keys/gold bars needed. Collecting them is slow going. Uninstalling. Greed has once again ruined a good game. Rather spend my money on a console game.
I have had enough of the problems with this app. Today it lost a lot of progress AND took away over 400 gold bars are gone that I should still have. Which means the money I spent on purchasing was wasted (or stolen, depending on how you look at it). I doubt I'll see a refund, so I'm out $25 plus $5 in play points. I strongly advise against installing this game. I have deleted the app. Don't get swindled like I did.
Fun, but things can be to expensive an time consuming if you don't use your gold to speed things up. Gold is hard to come by so unless you need to spend it to meet the criteria for a quest you tend not to. Maybe a potion you can buy to temporarily speed up building or production? Graphics and Controls are great no issues there.
I really love this game but there is no movement on this game in a while. There's a quest that comes monthly and little daily things but basically you're just collecting coins. There is no room for expansion on any of the Islands. It seems the developers are just concern about opening up new games. There is absolutely nothing to do. I'm ready to delete this game unless the developers focuses on this game.
This is actually a boring building game with medieval theme, which is the way i like it. Keep it simple, with good moving animations, some people just love to see the toy trains moving around and raindrop sound. For them it is relaxing and satisfying. If you make it to complicated, it is no longer a building game, and people who looks for building game will go.
The game, as a city builder, does its job. It lets you build p much whatever you want, except for a couple of things to keep in mind. I think I find earning coins a little slow, though they're nice enough with gold that I was able to build quite a lot of epic buildings. I'd like more convenience in the market tho, like tabs for different places so they're easier to find.
It's a nice game. It's repetitive, constantly going into the game to build up your money to buy and house or store. Once it is bought you are constantly slipping into the game to collect money to be able to pay the upgrades on the building/s you bought...and so and so on. There are other lands you can open, to buy stores and houses, and save and save to update each of them. I did get a couple gold bars in the spin today but gold comes real slowly.
