Faras - Request a Ride

The latest update has major bugs. Previously, one could enter the locations manually and suggestions would easily be shown in a drop-down. The list of recent pickup and destination points would also be always available. All that is gone!

idk if its just me, bu theres a major bug that makes it virtually unusable, when im trying to enter the location im going to on android, only the first character of the word i enter is accepted into the input after the first character nothing i entered, this means i cant request for a boda or car cos i cant enter the location im going to, the only alternative is using the map pin to select the location from the map

the old faras was amazing..reliable but suddenly something changed around December...accessibility poor,it has come close to useless, nothing is working...maybe just once in a while when lucky

every time you leave the app, you don't see the ongoing activity. it's like you've just opened the app, so you can't track the rider or even know if he has cancelled on you

I recently had a frustrating experience using Faras. The driver took a longer route than necessary, which increased the fare and resulted in me being late for an appointment. This was not the level of service I expected. I also tried reaching out through the customer service number, which was unavailable, and sent an email but have yet to receive a response.

Your app has issues. trip ended bit still reflects unended app and can't allow me to order again

Develops bugss when I request it takes time to type the location and destination

This is a great App, it saved me from high boda boda fares within..

The price is affordable on the app, and the app also tells u the amount you're supposed to pay. But the drivers don't know how to use the app, nor the map. Hence, they refuse to turn on the app before starting the journey, then they ask you to pay more money than the app requires you to pay, scamming you. Meaning it doesn't matter whether or not the app is affordable. The drivers always make you pay more. They also call several times asking where you are even though it's on the Map.

The app kept crashing until I reinstalled it, and the issue is no longer prevailing. When the driver sends a message, the app does not display a notification, even when it is in use. You only see the message when in message mode. The option to call the driver using normal calls does not work, only that of using the app does. The map also takes long to update with new places that other apps like Google Maps are already showing

Very very poor App, I once request a ride, but instead of picking me to the destination I choose but it took me to the other place far from where I was heading... In short, there has to be an improvement on location and map Also, if you book in this App, get ready to be late because it have very few drivers who are often far from where you request.

Poor Network, poor connection, poor mapping

This is a nightmare I ordered a Faras boda there came a worst motorbike rider 4 tempted to accidents I had to ask him to 🛑 half way through the journey he was not using motorbike lights to know if there was other road users I almost lost my leg this should not be happening we need serous people on the road Faras nop I called before that the first one said it's far there's traffic jam the second one said he's going to kp up he's family

Faras is a game changer! Their customer service is excellent,they call immediately if a driver cancels to make sure I'm okay. If I can't find a driver, they take the initiative to request one on their side, ensuring I always get a ride. Plus, for every day I use the app, I earn money, which I can withdraw easily. Their focus on safety and convenience puts them miles ahead of Bolt and Uber.I love this app 💯👌

Its a good app with affordable prices, but some of the drivers don't know how to use google maps, and also some drivers you may call their number they may not be reachable so you have to cancel a ride and request another, sometimes the pick up takes too long to reach your destination, one day i requested more than 4 request the forth driver came but took too long to reach me at my destination. But in other parts this app is good overall the delays.

Faras is a good app for transport and logistic. Reliable quick destination choices and good drive ,I have interact with there drivers which without lieing are by far the best, in the next couple of year if the community keeps the good spirit there is a high chance that they will overthrow some of the most well known cap services. HOWEVER there are some issues that needs agent attention to keep it running smoothly, interms of navigation you guy are not that efficient as you can't track your ride.

It's such a wonderful application! I would have rated it with five stars but there's a problem.....The only problem is that the raiders like to cancel trips for no reason then there after they start calling you on direct calls to ask for your location instead of tracking the client. I also appreciated the company for their affordable prices making it much easier.

As a first time user of the app, I was very disappointed with how I was forced to pay more than the app suggested even though I had a discount. The ride was also cancelled mid journey by the driver likely so that I wouldn't leave a review or so that there wouldn't be proof of ride on my end? The driver's attitude was also very bad. I'd give 0 stars if I could and discourage anyone from using the app.

you don't deserve even a Star. it was my first time to use and it will be the last time to use. You put in your location, they saw you the price and then you reach there , they double the money and on top of that the driver starts the journey like 8 mins before setting off. The worst app that I have ever used in my life time, and I can't even recommend it to any. let me reinstall it now that I have given in my review 😭😭😭😭
