The free version is so limited it is essentially useless. I was looking for a replacement for Life fasting that shut down, but sadly this isn't it. The paid version appears less limited, but there is no trial available to test it, and even that seems to be restrictive. What if I want to do a 3 day fast or a 7? What about open-ended? I have no issues paying for a subscription, but I can do more and get more from an app like chronometer that allows for more options with fasting.
I'm revising my review. I'm still pissed about the full phone block out ads but I finally brute forced my way back to the app. Devs still need to fix the issue of the "X" to close the ad not working if they are going to allow ads like this on their app. Regardless, in the settings I found the Remove Ads one time fee payment option and bought it. Had I known this was an option from the start I would've paid for this long ago as it worth it. I don't need a subscription tier for my level of usage.
App is helpful for tracking your fasts and your progress. Seeing how much time transpired can be motivating. I would have given 5 stars if it also facilitated tracking workouts and allowed you to toggle daily calories *consumed* not just calories remaining. It seems an oversight as there's currently no way to tap to see daily calories consumed, even while entering everything you ate.

Loved thos easy to ise app. Along with my fitbit Ive been able to loose weight and keep it off. Feb 1, 2025 I just bought the paid addition of this app and I am no longer thrilled with it. if you scan a food and it gets it wrong there is no way to correct it. if you add something manually you better know every single thing about that food it is not as easy as adding 6 oz of chicken you have to know everything. not at all happy with the paid version
This app has working very well for me. It is easier to use than the rest, gives what you need. It is helping keep track of not just my progress, but my fasting and eating times. Even without the subscription you get a lot of great advice and helpful hints without a ton of ads. Well, took a break for a minute, back at it and still a fantastic app. The food scan is really accurate and super helpful. Let's shoot for 40 lbs this time!
I definitely appreciate the hydration reminders, and the paid option isn't bad at all. Good enough that i went with the paid option. Update: Better. Than. Zero. Take that to the bank! Update: Since a few updates ago, the ui has become a little clunkier. I had some trouble finding my weekly fasting plan for a while, as its location in the app was moved. Still worth keeping imo.
Premium Version falls short of what I thought it should be. Everything is in grams and is very confusing on how to record food (macros). I would like to see improvements for tracking food. Definitely needs ounces. Water tracking needs custom input. Insights need a check after completion. Also needs option for carnivore meal tracking under Today's Diet Plan. Fasting tracker (custom) works great. Would give more stars after improvements.
So far, so good with the app! I'm still testing things out, but the app is easy enough to navigate. The registration walks you through a short survey, for the system to produce a plan based around your needs. But, as a free user, so far, it keeps you up-to-date with your time for fasting and such. Worth the download!
I love this app. It's actually helped me lose weight, in 2 weeks I had already lost 8 lbs. And that's no diet or exercise involved. I'm going to incorporate exercises and in a few weeks, really try to cut sugar. But it's so good with notifications and you can adjust times etc. it's really great. I'm probably going to buy it because if the free one is totally worth it, I can only imagine the whole app.
So I always have good intentions of following thru with an app but never seem to make it. Well, this app has changed that. It's easy, I'm fasting, and I have lost 15lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. The apps navigation is pretty straight forward, you can customize your own plan or flow one of theirs. It breaks it all down a week at a time so you can actually achieve something. It gives you as much info as you want to read but it's very simple and to the point. I'm now a believer.
I have been using this app for a while now and I do like it. I would normally rate a 4 star but the feature where you can edit end time for your fast won't allow me to set for the current day. When I go to edit it the end time it changes to yesterday and it won't allow me to set for the current day. This is so annoying since it doesn't happen all the time and when it does its inconvenient and hard to keep track of my hours.
I'm just editing to add that technical support emailed me this same response, blaming me for the issue. It's not difficult app to use on my side. It's just not doing what it is supposed to. It is impossible to set a schedule. I set my plan to break the fasting on Saturday and Sunday, but when I go to start the plan, it randomly selects two days to break the fasting. Incredibly annoying, especially being a premium plan user.
Awesome for tracking, staying motivated, and reviewing progress. The ad-free purchase is a nice separate feature from the premium if you only want one and not the other. My only gripe is that the plans are too rigid even though you can edit them. They only function in single day periods but life doesn't work like that. If I fast from 7pm one day to 7pm the next, that's a 24-hour fast but the app won't let you build a plan with that (will not acknowledge time from day before to day after).
Other than an occasional ad, I have no complaints. I was able to input my height, weight, goal weight, and body measurements to monitor progress. It has some good eating deterrents to prevent emotional eating and other things that come with free use. With a push of a button you start your fasting timer and the timer alerts you when you have met the daily fasting time. The time will keep running until you have signaled that you have broken the fast. I recommend the app. Easy to use and help
I love this app. The paid version is WELL worth the cost. The app team is responsive to questions, which is very important to me. The water drinking reminder throughout the day is excellent, but the recipes, reminders & info included to keep me inspired to eat healthy & for a specific period... I can't even find the right words to express how much I love that feature. If you are on the fence & need a little motivation, just try the paid version. You won't regret it.
UPDATE: 9 days in and have officially lost 10 pounds. It wasn't perfect, so I probably could have lost more BUT relearning how and when to eat is a process. The process is made WAY easier with this app. Try it. If you fail, KEEP trying until it sticks. You got this! ********* So far, so good. Just started two days ago. Testing out the free version. I'll circle back in 4 weeks and update progress and see if I want to upgrade.
Great fasting app and I haven't experienced any glitch. Love the nuggets of information when you reach a milestone of fasting and it's helped me go longer on my fast when I see that I'm in fat burning mode, or ketosis or that my body is beginning autophagy state. (12 hours, 24, 48, etc.) I've purchased the app, cost like $20 for the year and I can't tell the difference from free version to subscription. I'm happy to support developers, but if I can get the same features for free...
The overall rating of this app should tell all. Smooth UI, great information packed into it for meal preps, what you can drink and can't, what types of foods you should eat and avoid during your non-fasting period. It's got a water tracker, and lots of notifications to use so you won't ever have to worry about forgetting when your fasting time starts and stops. It's overall the best fasting app I've tried, and I encourage anyone else on this journey to try it as well!
It's okay. Paid for full version and lots of repetitive information in different areas. I don't mind the short videos but I feel like you should be able to pause it without having to hold the screen to pause it. If I am trying to get a recipe and whatnot, my hand is in the way of reading it because that's how I am supposed to pause it and it's in the way. No area to keep track of eating. Feel like it was a waste of money for full version. Not worth it. Only used for 3 days so far. Maybe 4.
I haven't had it for very long, but the experience so far has been great. It has no age limits, and it does have a subscription but it's fairly cheap (10$ monthly). Not only can you track fasting and the app will tell you when you can stop for optimal fat burn, but it also gives you tons of recipes, insights, and advice.
