horrible customer service. eld device is over priced and not worth using it has a lot of problems like it will miss locations and miles and will end up messing up your ifta. big roads can not deliver what they promise. im been using paper logs for last 2 weeks they still can't figure out when are they going to send the replacement of my defective device. what a shame.
I like the app. Definitely driver friendly, if your company sets it up right. I really like the fact that I can have it on my phone and in my truck. So I can take my phone with me when I'm out of the truck and update or change my status as needed. The yard move is a fantastic option when you have to move around at a shipper or receiver. It does freeze up from time to time. But you restart your device and keep it updated and it happens less often. Same as any other electronic device and/or app.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They randomly draft your account without notice or invoice. This wouldn’t be a bad thing IF they billed correctly. They almost always have billing mistakes. I have been trying to reach this company to correct an error since 07/11/2025. No one has returned a call or an email! Do not use their service, go somewhere else.
Please stop assuming my truck number before I even go on duty (by assuming I'll be driving the same truck from yesterday). We can't change the number so I have to make a note on my log every day that I use a different truck. Also, I would love it if there was an option in settings to change the time to 5 minute increments instead of 15 when using the arrow buttons to change a time. Otherwise great app.
Adding the seconds to an editable log without the ability to adjust the seconds is a big issue. If I make any adjustments the time goes to :00. So if I adjust my off duty from 15:15:32 to. 15:13:00 it looks bad because it's exactly on the minute instead of the seconds. Super stupid and frustrating. I may be getting rid of app and getting my money back because of it!
The app has stopped working altogether. Can't change the status. Or even open the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. It doesn't work at all. You have made the app unusable. First making seconds visible, and not it doesn't work at all. I am not contacting you because your app doesn't work. I completely deleted it and am using one that does work.
Very easy to navigate. Works well most days. Although lately for some reason, it has started kicking me out of driving on duty to on duty, while driving. It sucks because then my mileage does not match and have to constantly edit the logs. A fix for this would be nice. Otherwise very satisfied. Troy Edit*** over six months later, still the same. Almost every day. Sometimes several times a day.
This app used to be great. Has way too much extraneous info on the logging screen that isn't needed or used. I don't need a running log of everything I've added or edited, it's already in the current log entries for the day. For some reason I can no longer access personal conveyance or yard move when editing driving. My settings have me listed as able to use both and device even said I could when logging in, but won't actually let me. Tech support so far no help. Time to switch ELD I guess...
Usually the app works ok. But after the latest update it started to give different types of diagnostic errors and malfunctions. It is not a hardware, but a software problem. It has happened before as well. Like 18 months ago after an update it was acting the same way and then three or four updates later everything returned to normal. Also for no reason it doesn't allow to change from driving to personal driving even though the Canadian rules are NOT applied. Stop putting out untested updates.
All around horrible service! We are constantly having to call tech support for one issue or another. They're Tech support team is hit or miss and when they miss- THEY REALLY MISS! When you are dealing with truck driving there is not much time to handle these problems or you lose out on money and deadlines. Big Road and Fleet Complete act like issues can wait- DOT not so much. I've been told several times that someone would contact us on various issues and no one ever has. VERY UPSET CUSTOMER!!!!
I've used this app for the last five years and really liked it. Starting a month ago, ads keep popping up when I'm changing duty status and i can't make it stop. I called customer service, they said to restart my tablet and if that didn't work, uninstall the app and reinstall it. Did all that. Still has pop-ups. No logbook should have ads on it, we pay a lot of money for this and don't need ads. If it gets fixed I'll give it five stars.
Bad experience. I am glad we switched. 1. Customer service is not helpful. Transferred me to different departments and each time I get a different answer. 2. Also, they charged our account $535 "renewal" fee (that's what they stated unsurely) without our permission and refuse to refund it. 3. Billing is not organized. Since we signed up, Big Road never sent us bills. When I asked to cancel, we got bills all at once instead of monthly like it was supposed to be. Not happy with customer service.
New updates seem to always have a glitch. Update: The App. Has actually gotten worse!! When functioning properly, it's great which is about 10% of the time. Then the company will send out another update and the app will not record your movement, connect to the vehicle and so on. This is a paid for service and either myself or my drivers are having to call constantly to try and get help to fix the problem which is not acceptable as we have work to do and don't have the time to deal with this.
Not working very well and you can't get anyone to answer the phone to help you. Looking for a new eld provider. Every time you shut truck off and start it it shows another diagnostic flag that can't be fixed and can show location when I stop but if I go to load ,unload, or fuel it shows no location and won't let me put it in either. I can stop at night and go to sleeper with location get up in morning to do insp. and it has no location and won't let me put the location in. Junk!!
I believe this is the worst app ever, you have to have a signal just to log in, we used to start our logs anywhere anytime, Can't move truck without it recording at any speed, it doesn't start driving from on-duty randomly at times, doesn't go from driving to on duty for way too long, you apparently are not allowed to work away from the cab like on your load to load or unload without it having a bunch of errors when you do go back, i'm not going to leave my phone in the cab while i'm outside working to prevent this issue, I've heard this form others that use this app so it's not just me. When in personal mode it'll switch to on-duty driving mode which you can not switch, so if your off that day you're not now and if you were out of hours then you just got a violation! I just needed some groceries. It has a mind of it's own. Maybe all the ELD app's out there don't work correctly??
When are we going to get the option of removing all of the icons that are not used on home/map view? They take up a lot of screen real-estate. 4/16/22 It's been fair for awhile but now over the last two days it's starting up that falsification of log entries again. Customer service does not exist. Updates and reinstalls do zero. Time to move on to a better product.
Great App. Helps me keep my carriers mandatory paper logs neat and legal. There is a tendency to select the wrong location which causes problems with fuel receipts, and I have had times where I have been off duty instead of on duty/driving. It's easy to edit those occasions, but it would be better if you didn't have to.
some what difficult to use, to many extra steps. like when starting your day you have to go to another section to add Pretrip notes, same with Fueling. Apps and a map at the bottom of your logs, to me totally useless and very annoying. No after hours support, no good English speaking people. They need work also but it's just hard to understand them and they talk too darn fast which makes it even more difficult to understand them. 😕 The app works haven't had any issues with it not working.
Too many bugs. I have a Dashlink equipped truck and about 1/3 of the time i turn on the key it switches to DRIVING. It adds miles for no reason, yesterday i turned the truck off at 9pm. The next morning it shows i had driven 42 miles before i even started the truck. IFTA? It fails to switch to Driving mode when I start about once a week and i have to stop the truck and restart the app. Tech support? 20 minutes on hold to talk to someone and the only thing they can say is reinstall the app.
New update is unworkable. It constantly switches to unassigned driving, or to on duty while driving. The GPS location has to be manually entered multiple times a day. I've had multiple instances where my logs check out and I sign them then multiple days later I get a red flag because it update a location or driving event and I have to recertify days later . The new update also will not you update drive time, so when it auto corrects itself days later you can't update it to yard move, or pc
