Feed Baby - Baby Tracker

I have only used the app for a week. I like all the tracking so far and find it very easy to use but am really annoyed that they put in a non-dismissable message in my feed that basically forced me to come and write a review. Dudes - there are less irritating (and much more useful) ways to get this information. Also, it takes 28 days to form a habit, so let me use your app for more than a week before I pass judgement on it. But, since you basically forced me into a rating now, you get 3 stars.

awesome- super helpful app! this app is great! it has everything you can think of to be easily tracked for your little one to make sure your little one is doing good! I'd highly recommend this app to anyone!!! you can very easily keep track of when your baby eats, both formula and breast milk, diaper changes, pumping sessions, baths, sleeping, medicines, growth, journals, vaccinations, temperature, and teeth! so far it's the best app I've come across for keeping track of everything.

This was a perfect app, I even payed for the upgrade. Then I got a new phone. Now when ever I open it random data seems to go missing, sometime stuff I put in mere minutes ago, sometimes entire days. I have read the FAQ to no avail. Reached out for help and heard nothing. I will gladly change my review to five stars if someone would help me get back to when it worked, but as of now, it is totally useless

Love all the features that are in this app, almost too much! But helps to keep track of EVERYTHING baby - only thing from last update that is slightly annoying is the period in the ounces for a bottle. If he didn't take a default amount, you have to manually change it instead of the old dropdown selection.... Update 3 years later, still using Feed Baby to track my boy's sleep, medications when he's sick and growth updates, still very helpful!!

Okay, I love their app and I have used it twice before.... but as we can see from other comments, something may have gone wrong at Penguin apps. I can't add the 2nd child, last update was in September, and they don't seem to respond to emails. Sync link to copy to other device doesn't work either. All of this worked before. It was an awesome app... I really hope they come back and fix it and I would love to give them 5 stars.

Just using what I need so far, diapers and nursing. Love that I can track which side we nursed on and the little reminders are great! Almost 3 years in, and still love it! We use meds, temp, growth, diapers, nursing, bath, milestone journals, teeth- and just loaded the app on my new phone to find solid feeding as an option on the feeds- it may have been there for a while, but I just discovered it! All data transferred perfectly from my old phone, so this Momma is happy! 34.5 months and counting!

This app is very effective at what it does. I have used it now with two children. I use it to keep up with pumping and feedings. I had never had an issue until my phone crashed (not related to the app) so I had to revert to an older phone. Well, I could not remember my passphrase, so I tried to contact Penguin apps by email, Facebook, and Facebook messenger but I could not get a response. I was missing 4 months of data. Finally, four days later I got a response. Customer service is terrible.

Using for twins. App keeps crashing (not able to keep two separate babies after a couple of days, abruptly getting "confused" and changing baby names, to just one name for both babies, causing inability to sync and to see who is who). Very disappointed. I used this app without much trouble a few years ago for another baby. If you don't need it for two simultaneously, it is probably fine, but for two it is unfortunately not working properly.

I downloaded this app to track pumping, bottles/oz fed, and breastfeeding time for my baby so isn't gaining weight well. I am using the free version. It has helped a lot. It sends alerts that it's time to nurse or pump again. It alerts me at 10, 15, and 20 minutes breastfeeding or pumping. It shows a notification bar that BF'ing or pumping is in progress with the option to end it, without having to get back into the app. I do wish the timer was displayed on the notification bar as well

The bad: Adding 2nd baby deleted all feeding data from my first child! They had a huge banner telling me I had to leave them a review to remove it even though I paid for pro. The good: I like how simple the app works to track feedings, poops, sleeps etc. It really is easy to use and doesn't contain a lot of superfluous tools. I would recommend it. I just wish they hadn't deleted my data.

I wish I had this app in the hospital! Bought the full version so I could use it for my second child and I still love it. And suddenly realized I could still use it for my eldest child when she's sick to help keep track of her medication! Edit: now have three kids and the app struggles to remember which kid's info should be showing and pro and lite are two separate apps that won't communicate with each other.

Decent application to track all the things for a newborn. The pass phrase to link two, or more, devices didn't seem to work -- we had to use the share link with the app to get the information linked to another device. So that was mildly annoying. We also upgraded to pro because of the 6 (!!!!) hour sync limit of you're not. If you're a single parent, or using a single device to track, there is no need to pay for the pro version -- IMO Big red "leave a review banner" - SUPER annoying...

I hate being pressured into giving reviews. This is what makes me hate the app. Updated: 2 years of my child's info has been erased. Yes it's a huge deal. I track everything and her info is gone. I simply changed phones. I should have a log in name and a passcode to access the information from different phones. You all use some unfamiliar pin that's not clearly spelled out on how to use. I'm very upset. im looking for another app to track my child's growth. I've had enough of this.

Automatic one star review for prompting so aggressively for a rating. I've had the app for less than a week, have received three popup prompts (very unwelcome when I'm still trying to learn to use the app while handling a NEWBORN), and now have a massive red bar throughout the app distracting me and explicitly telling me to leave a positive review (...really?). You know, if you had waited until I'd actually used the app and prompted less aggressively, I would have given you a positive review. I like the app. But these rating prompts are totally out of line.

Spent $5 for this app to remove all the ads but had to come on here to rate the app to remove an annoying red banner "rate me to remove from app"! That is so stupid! I would give this app zero stars for doing that. You don't lie and treat your customers this way, especially the ones that buy the app! When I upgrade to the pro version where there should be no ads, I expect no ads, period! Update: This is STILL ANNOYING! 😠

I've used this app with 2 kids. The first for 4 years and going on 2+ years with my second. I love all the tracking options and data I can gather. Only complaint is from an update this year with Android. The widgets are taking up a lot of blank space above and below the button part. It didn't used to do this, so not sure if it's compatibility issue? Wish it could be resolved!

My wife and I paid for the app (on both phones) so we could sync the data, but it doesn't work automatically. You'd imagine I add a feeding and she could load her app and it would show the feeding I added. That only works if I manually click 'sync now', then she does the same. It's pretty annoying and something you think is standard these days, especially after having spent $10.

I initially rated this five stars three years ago because it's an amazing app that tracks just about everything you could want, and more. It's even possible to add a second kid and track all of their events. But then I bought a new phone and tried to sync all of both kids events, and rather than download all my events to the new phone, the old phone was wiped of everything, every event, every journal entry, every milestone and I lost all the data for my baby. Honestly, it shouldn't matter so much, but it broke my heart. I've been trying to contact the developers via the app and email for weeks, and have gotten no help. I find the inability to reliably and safely sync without losing data to be a deal breaker, so I have to downgrade my rating.

Worth purchasing. Very easy to use, love the widgets, very customizable, it's got everything you need to track baby, plus add journaling to remember special moments. The only thing I wish it had was a way to add pictures in the journal entries, or elsewhere. I know that's not really what the app is for, though, so no affect on my rating.

May 2020: when i added a second baby, it deleted all the stored info about the first a couple of days later--the program made 2 copies of the new baby and wrote over the first. It constantly interrupts now to tell me it's backing up data; yet it keeps deleting data-even after I deleted the 2nd baby. It's happening more and more often too. This app is useless if it can't be trusted. 2017: Easy to use. I love being to keep track of this info without having to remember all the details myself.
