It's ridiculous how useless the app can be, just for starters... looking at your positions... all you see in the columns are the 1st 2 letters of the column name.. maybe if columns didn't have similar titles it wouldn't matter... it's just showing how a multi billion dollar company can't/won't put in the effort. the only good about the product is checking balances overall. I've been a customer for over 15 years and checking balance is the only thing I do on this app

Doesn't work on Pixel 10 Pro XL. The app presents across the entire available screen, so the "Log In" and menu links in the upper corners cannot be selected. When trying to log in another way, the end result is the same. Edit to respond to dev: did all that already. I cannot select "profile" because the menu is in the upper corner.

Not sure what update happened, but every time I log in, biometrics can't be set up due to it 'not working at this time' and regardless of if I check the box or not, I can't remember the device to speed up the login process which used to take a few seconds and is now up to a minute + because of 2fa, the menu layout and the popups. Love the product, hate the app.

Literally every time I sign in, I need to send a verification code. Why include a "remember this device" option if it never works? Infuriating. edit: still an issue half a year later. They also added a new page that comes up at app launch that needlessly requires an extra click before I can begin the log in process. They've managed to make it worse.

The UI is clumsy, the app often fails to load (infinite logo screen), key information about a trade is often not available where expected. I don't even have an option on the new buy interface to specify cash VS margin! There's a reason Robin Hood is eating their lunch, and Fidelity is only good for long term slow trading. You will get stuck trying to make things work on this app, it is NOT for rapid action.

No longer compatible with Galaxy S10. UPDATE: Fidelity forced me to buy a new phone. Now I cannot log in with my fingerprint. Every time I try to enable biometric log in, I get an error message saying biometric enrollment is not working. This has not been a problem with any other apps, just Fidelity. It's really frustrating to have to type in my long password when I'm in a hurry to make an unplanned trade where timing matters. (I generally don't trade like that, but sometimes it's appropriate.)

I created a password that followed every rule but it kept saying I'm having a password issue. I finally get in the app it won't let me connect an account. Go to log in a few days later. it's saying I don't have an account yet they have my number for verification🤔. I verify and again have to create a new account. and yet again it's another password issue. this is a big deal because if it's this much trouble to create an account. why would I trust you with my money

Something with biometrics for login is clearly broken. I want to be able to use the app without logging in every time, but when I do log in I want to do so with biometrics. There's an option to turn off login on launch but if biometrics are enabled this isn't respected, you either get the biometric login anyway or just a spinning circle. I've forced stop, cleared cache, cleared storage, turned login on launch on/off, turned biometrics on/off, uninstalled/reinstalled, nothing helps.

This app has gone south. Avoid. If you change any of the default layout or theme settings it won't start the next time. You have to reinstall or delete all app storage and cache. Update: Fidelity told me it is a known issue with the dark/light/default theme. Sadly biometric authentication is semi-broken, the app can't connect with biometric auth on the phone sometimes, and presents you with login/pw. Not good.

Unreal how buggy this app can be on a S25 Ultra. A FLAGSHIP PHONE. It constantly forgets biometrics, then when you try to reset, glitches out and gives you an incredibly vague error that biometrics aren't available. Close and re-open the app, suddenly it works. It also kicks you back to the login screen CONSTANTLY, not even in a "security" way, because if you close and reopen the app a few times more it fixes itself and opens your portfolio immediately.

Fidelity seems to have a lot of technical issues. From not being able to log into the app, to the help chat crashing. Yes, I tried reinstalling and changing my password, and I contacted customer support, which then crashed. I finally got it to work by waiting. The website does not allow check deposits into my account, otherwise I would just skip the app.

Can you add an option in settings to switch back to the older mobile app design, when the balance charts were black? The app looked much better and was more enjoyable to use, and I’m not alone in feeling this way. The current blue balance chart doesn’t blend well with the black text and green theme of the page, while the old black chart did. Also, the portfolio value now takes up half the screen; it used to be smaller, letting me see more on the home page at once. There were also fewer bugs.

When I drag my finger on the portfolio balance chart, the font used to display my portfolio value at different times is smaller now than before the last update and much harder to read (maybe it was bold before?) There is also a blue vertical bar to the left of the value: what is the point of that blue vertical bar? More generally, I feel like Fidelity keeps changing things that were fine before and making them worse. The app looks a lot worse now than it did a year ago.

My bank is listed but is not actually supported, so I can't transfer funds. The app forces you to verify bank details through their useless third-party system. When clicking on the other options, I was redirected to the bank web page, only to be told I've logged in too many times and have to reset my PW. I've reset the PW and still can't access my account. What a horrible application. Says the app can be linked with PAYPAL, but in actuality, there is no way to link the accounts.

Login asks me for the password almost every time, even though I've enabled biometric login and have logged in with it several times. That's the most annoying feature of the app though it can seem a little complicated too at first. Overall though, it does seem solid and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to invest so conveniently.

New update now has a start screen that prompts you to create an account before you can log in, ruining the login button placement which should be the closest button to your thumb on your phone app. Then, regardless of if you choose the "remember this device", it continues to force you through three more screens before actually logging you in. The point of a phone app was for the convenience, but instead I'll just bookmark the website onto my home screen.

You have made this app inaccessible for 90% of users until you enable backwards compatibility. On top of that, I can echo other's reviews stating that the account switches when initiating a trade. I have to double check and switch the account every single time, otherwise risk accidentally making a trade from the wrong account (which has happened!). Fidelity software team does a terrible job validating, clear every time they roll out an "update". You're going to lose a lot of customers.

I just uninstalled and rei stalled the app and was saddened to see that the latest version, under "positions" no longer shows all the data columns it used to (i.e. %Gain today, $ gain today, overall gain, % of account, etc. These were very important data for me. Please give me back the old version. I dropped this version review from 5 star to 1.

Who designed this? to name just a few things: 1. if your Biometrics (fingerprint) do not work a couple times, the app asked you to login via username or password but does not give you any option to get to that page. you need to clear the app and restart the app in order to access the proper login page again. 2. any buttons related to something besides that's the regular trading watching the market price are extremely unintuitive to locate 3. you are required to use the AI to search anything

The app includes so many things that will overwhelm beginners. There are a few things not working as intended, such as open an article, instead of showing a webview with the content it failed and showing me a blank webpage. I couldn't add a bank or read an article instead I have to open my own browser to do it instead. If the mobile app is not better than the mobile web version then there is no point in having this app at all. If they can't make it better, keep it simple.
